I like that translation of "in a jiffy." I remember after Corridor Crew, reading someone's more literal translation of "It's so fast" which I thought was an unusual way to respond, but took it to double mean, time flies. In a jiffy gets the meaning across better. The train is so fast, it'll take no time at all!
I thought about it for a while! I also considered "blink". The literal meaning is an untranslatable idiom, "It's only an Ah! sound." The dictionary provides the English idiom "In the blink of an eye", but I didn't think it worked in this context, so I picked "jiffy".

But yeah, I always find localization translations choices fascinating to read stories behind.

According to metaphor of the father's words to daughter "Tokyo .... is quite far" and the daughter responded "It is a jiffy". The original Japanese is "sodayo ne", I think "Well.....yeah." would be better than "Yeah..." in this context of scenarios.
I could probably write an article on my decision making process at the time, since I was dissecting each line and trying to match it to a similar English colloquialism for each moment in context. For "Soudayone", I believe I was trying to make it match the feeling that he was drifting off with his words.
