    I love your video. I am totally blind and you really really described everything you were doing. It really helped me. Somebody just gave me strawberries and they always go bad. I am going to follow this video instructions. I also love the way you do your videos and hope you continue to do them that way and keep speaking everything you do. I know it might be annoying to those who can see. But if they only knew. Some of us out here who cannot see are actually following along

    Love this. I don't know where you're from or if it matters but I'm from the midwest. A while ago, it had been a long while since I did strawberries with sugar so I Googled asking about the ratio of sugar to berries and the "best" I got was "1-2T:1 quart berries." I audibly laughed. When you said "1/2 c sugar" and dumped that bad boy on those berries, I said out loud "that's my girl." 😂😂 I mean, it's sugar y'all. I try not to lie to myself about my love of the ingredient, it is what it is. More sugar just means more syrup, right??

    What can I use in place of parchment paper. I only have Aluminum Foil and Cling Wrap. Will any of these work?

    Yup I already started wash/rinse my blue berries and strawberries but I don't/haven't put on parchment paper yet t ok freeze them first I just put in a zip lock bag and flatten spread out in the bag and lay flat in the freezer works fine and blue e I don't have to cut up how I want to eat them but bananas and strawberries yes but

    Can you thaw and eat as-is or do they go mushy? Is this just for when you will use them in cooking?

      They will be a bit mushy when thawed. So it's best to use them in recipes. I hope that helps.

      They won't be like fresh strawberries but are good to use in recipes. But yes, they will be a bit mushy when defrosted.

    I have store-bought strawberries and I can easily just pull the green leaves right off the strawberry without using a knife.

      Up to two weeks in the refrigerator with the vinegar soak method, I hope that helps.

      That depends on which method you use. If you use the vinegar soak, the berries will keep up to two weeks. I hope that helps.

      @@Rayis4444 I'm sorry I thought this was about keep fresh strawberries. For frozen strawberries they will keep in the freezer about a year. I hope that helps.
