Love this video! I test drove the c40 twin but it felt sluggish on low speed in city driving. After watching this, I’m wondering if I wasn’t using the accelerator pedal properly. Lol. Question: would u recommend the C40 Twin or the BYD Seal Premium?
Awesome video and great to see your confident driving. I'm struggling with c40 or xc40 which drives better. Both are priced same. I'm in cold weather with max 2 months of Sun. Which is fun to drive. In my short test drive I found xc40 having soft suspension than c40. Sadly xc40 had single motor while c40 double. Hence could not compare Single motor variant.
I think you have a choice of buying with single or dual motor. Both the XC amd C are built on the same platform, so should have similar handling. In winter with the snow and ice, dual motor is better because both axles are driven. In my test, I found both cars very similar in power and handling.
How does the brakes feedback Mr. YS Khong as compared to the XC40 Recharge? Because in my opinion I feel the brakes from the XC40 is not good and not confident enough to drive in fast pace . Great video as always
Yes, they are not 6-pots, or anything fancy, but for daily use, they are good enough. As you can see from the video, we were going quite fast, but there was no brake fade at any time. I am always very aware and am wary of brake performance, but there were no issues. There is always an early warning that I can feel on the brakes as they get hot, but these were okay. I have driven all three up this hill, the XC40, the XC40 Recharge Twin and also the C40 in the video.
Wow, from gombak to genting skyworld the distance is only 34km, 85% from gombak to genting left 53%.. used 32% of battery, 1% of battery suppose can run 4km, 32% should be 128km.. now only 34km, where the 94km gone? Lol, i did pay deposit rm1000 to book this can, now i give up d. Takut ..., may be no music no aircon, 60km/h, one person drive only can give u 100% for 400km drive.
No need to panic bro - it will do 400 if you drive normally. It is much the same as a normal petrol engine. If you drive harder it takes more fuel. As you can see we were going very fast and driving hard. What we didnt tell you is it used up only 1 percent from Genting hilltop to Gombak toll.
