They are so gorgeous and beautiful and very unique, I adore African American dolls cause they are a good representation of our culture no matter what brand there made from, only black dolls I have are 2 Clawdeen Wolf dolls from Monster High which she is a black girl wolf type character, unfortunately I have no human black dolls but I hope one day I get one cause there just so gorgeous, maybe when I get my own place I'll get some black girl dolls that I like, also eBay has a lot 💜
I have always found it weird that white people like to collect black faced dolls. I would like to have a conversation as to why? I had a white coworker give me a Black doll made of black cloth for my Birthday. The director of my division was quite upset about it, and told me to give it back to her. It was country craft, but its offensive to many Black Americans.

D’ailleurs j’avais un poupon bien noir avec des boucles gravées sur la tête dans mon enfance. Je l’ai retrouvé et racheté. Pourquoi ? Le côté exotique peut être ? J’aime aussi beaucoup les poupées asiatiques.
Je ne fais pas de différence entre une poupée blanche et une poupée de couleur, sauf la difficulté à les photographier. Souvent les poupées de couleur ont de très beaux vêtements et j’aime leurs cheveux foncés, surtout les ethniques. J’ai aussi des Barbie. J’aime toutes les poupées.
heard about the baby nancy doll and went to look up more about it and RUclips has like ONLY TWO videos about black Dolls that aren't either racist or abut white dolls. Feels kind of disappointing.
Really good video , for i do not like brown skintoned dolls for example with unnatural lipcolour either a doll just painted black , personally I saw afew dolls uip herewho are really good sculpted , but it is as mebntioned >> also black doll=type madesome evolutipon during time , unfortunately I had to sell my most favorute black-skin-toned gorgeousdoll girl with really genuine rooted hair (I sigh :-/ ) still miss her.Burt anyway , thanks for Sharing !!!! I didn't know about Harriet Tubman's later life and that's a shame. Hearing it here is a great example of what we can learn from dolls!

My mother, who was born in 1930, told me that she longed for a realistic Black doll as a child.
