And we wouldve had a better show, they shouldve killed abe at the start of s7 and maggie at the end of s7 and glenn as a result of his warpath in s8, if they went this route the couldve killed aaron in s8 too and daryl could go the same route but live and become more civilized after being forced out of the war due to what rick saw happened to glenn.
watching a scene pack is so different, the issue it had was all the in between bullshit side stories. It moved too slow, didn't keep momentum. Sometimes less is more.

he was some pretty boy yet good dramatic and comedic actor in uk like solid but not groundbreaking and I read first Omubus of Walking dead then show starts and is trying for three or so seasons be a diplomat so his family blood and people he has made family, David Morisseys govnener arcs and then Terminius and he goes fucking scary mode grows a beard does not fuck around anymore. Andrew Lincon deserved some awards.
@TheGovernor2003 also The Governor was a uk semi serious really good actor David Morrisey is something else i said in a comment else where David took to the Governer fast accent wise and they gave him a good arc in the show after woodbury goes to shit he tries be family man and almost made it then the bite and he snaps, Two great english actors but lets not forget the great american actors in the show, and is many of them. I only mention the fact they english is because both Rick and The Gov are very american characters even at base where they are from.
there is a book actually mate not graphic novel like book all words called rise of the governer I have never read it but Robert Kirkman creator of the whole comic co wrote it that deals with his back story a bit, I have never read it so dunno if its good, I would have liked a tv version prequel but its been like 10 years or so now and David Morrisey will look so older and if you see him in uk shows hes not fat but stocky so he really must have slimmed down for the role, I could suspend my beleif to see a tv show about pre woodbury gov tho. I am just starting season 3 ep 2 and 3 where we really start seeing woodbury.

This season wasn't perfect, none of them really are. But what this season got right was Rick's character. They showed him at his lowest and in the end he still wanted to change for his son. The one thing Carl's death was good for (in my opinion) was opening Rick's eyes.
