I've just discovered Lisa in the last couple days. She's got a simple, pleasant voice and a charming smile, and her music is relaxing and delightful. This doesn't replace Otis Redding's version, but it doesn't have to. I like it.
Ono now owns my favorite rendition of this classic tune. Sweet and oooh so mellow. Had me dreaming 'bout the ships rollin' and watch 'em rollin' away again. What a presence, what a voice.
junkie's comment actually constitutes a compliment, declaring as he seems to do that though he'd institively be inclined to find Ms. Ono's interpretation inauthentic, declares it irresistible.
@bobbydh822 sorry. couldnt resist. yes she is. she is ono's not evil step sister, and used to go to the singing lessons their mom paid for.....for yoko, Yoko stayed home, gargled sake, drano and LSD, pioneering her avant garde aural torture techniques.

Lisa's cover is without despair and soothingly hopeful, offering another perspective to the original.

Very soothing and it's good to hear a singer who doesn't have to make an impact with vocal acrobatics and riffs. Love her voice, she's an inspiration!
Very smooth like Jazz should be. The band is enjoying their talents as they share with listners.
I love it! Keep singing Lisa!
i've watched this video at least 50x, i'm so entranced by lisa's inner glow and her effortless vocals.
After listening to watching and listening to several Ryan Bingham videos, this is all I needed to change my mind about the advantages of hearing loss.
Such a soothing voice... After listening to her I'm quite relaxed!
●あの名曲が小野リサ様の手にかかると、こんなにお洒落になるなんて! 最高!!!
One of my favorite singers.
小鳥のさえずりのように、

A melhor cantora de Bossa Nova de todos os tempos.

I'd kill for this lady to sing me a lullaby. She's so awesome!
Just Woooow......
She does this song better than anyone. If he was still with us, I bet Otis Redding would agree. This beautiful lady is like enchanting magic...

I like her! She has a very pleasant voice. (a little pitchy).
Some strings in the background would be nice.
That's a bad Lady, right there. Smooth.
East meets west meets Jobim meets good ol' American R&B.
いい!
Legal!
小野リサさんはとにかくこの優しく柔らかい声が素敵。この曲はボサ・ノヴァの方がイメージがより明確になるなと思った。
Like 👍smooth

in the spirit of Astrud Gilberto ...only better!
I think the best song of her is "Corcovado"
Smooth arrangement - Otis would not be put off - flattered, most likely.
@tonywsmith2 - Maybe she should have hired you.
Otis Redding or Tom Jobim ? That's the question.... Xd XD XD
Lisa's sound like Astrud Gilberto but different

She's hot.
I admit I adore asians.

by the way he saudade is ok for the lyrics...
This is a great example how you can kill even the best song
I'm afraid you have that backwards. This is a great example of how someone can take a crappy song and make it beautiful.
You are both wrong. This is a great song. And she sings it with a lot of soul, but your ears are without soul and fail to hear it.
Nope, the original is crap.
SHe is isn't playing!
@josh1111111111111100
No question.
Yes, this is a good cover of Otis's great song...but still I prefer Otis Redding singing it.
wow her voice is overly too soft!
Too happy. Should b desperate as the original
Travis Tran
It's all a matter of perspective and interpretation
It's orrible...It isn't "Sitting on the dock of the bay"!!!...It's other song...O.o
Horrible, I don't see how anyone could enjoy this. Cheers, for crappy elevator music?
Beautiful
