    Excellent presentation 👍
SKS Yugo S prefix serial # 1981/2 just purchased, like new, with cosmoline still internally. Thank you for the demo.

thanks for posting the helpful video. you can use the little pointy tool in the cleaning kit like a punch to knock the retaining pin out of the bolt housing, also take a small block of wood and drill a hole in it and you can lay the bolt housing on it and use that instead of a vice to remove and install the pin...might save you a trip out to the garage or help someone who doesn't have a vice or punches on hand. just some tips I came across somewhere while watching other vids.

Hey great advice on the punch for the bolt I hadn't thought about that. I think the SKS design is far better than people give it credit for. The SKS is easy to break down and clean, is a reliable semi auto, in a cheap but effective caliber. For what's available in Canada I think it's a great rifle.
