If you put a 45 degree offset rail piece you can install a dot sight out near the muzzle and improve your accuracy 100% and still fold the carbine. You only have to twist the weapon 25% to the left for a right hand shooter..

Back in the 90s, exporting titanium ingots was prohibited in Russia, but exporting goods manufactured from titanium was fine and dandy. This funky product was a tool to exploit that loophole. By the way, it has absolutely nothing to do with spetsnaz.

First off, its refreshing to see a how to video using only the tools most would have laying around in the garage. So many videos display themselves as easy and cheap but its not so cheap when youve gotta rent a 400$ tool lol That said, watching you cut with that saw made me queasy. Im big on saving money, best way to convince my husband of any diy project is to do it as cheaply as possible even if that means doing alot more work. Youre only as good as your tools are. Basic tools usually produce enough Return on Investment to warrant the initial cost.

Here is something many may not know. The gen 3 anyway, with the bolt closed on an empty chamber, if you dry fire it, and then turn it to safe before cycling it. It puts the gun in safe / safe mode and it will not allow the bolt to travel back far enough to chamber a round from the mag until you turn the safe off again. Now thats only if the safe is applied once the bolt is closed and dry fired. I guess in safe / safe if someone was able to get your gun from you they likely wouldn't be able to chamber a round before you could engage them again or run clear to safety.

  • @luked2767

In China they preferred this over the AK. They even made a more accurate version with a rotating bolt that fed from an AK mag. I love this rifle but I always thought to myself it would be so cool if it hand an M1 garands style 10 round en block clip that loaded from the top and ejected after firing. A smle mag can work with 7.62x39 and you can rechamber the rifle, pretty sure you could do it with a M1 garand but It would be a pain. But a company should make rifles for common caliber with 10 round en blocks for Canada and ban states. Since the SMLE and M1 are exempt from the 10 round rule and so are pistol mags, if someone imported or made just 1 or 2 "pistols" with SKS mags you could convert them.

Thank you, I think it is an original design. The logs I used were too small to mill and therefore also too small to notch, so I just stacked them like a log cabin and used corner posts and my roof to solidify things. It's all filmed in the channel if you go back a few months in the videos. 8x12 shed cost me only the metal roofing and a few 4x4 posts

I honestly can't understand how a person can say, about the sub 2k, " I don't see anyone trusting thier lives to this (sub2k)"? Well considering the popularity of 9mm I really couldn't care less about what a 9mm bullet is being fired from. Why do people detract from bullet bc theyre critical of the launching device? A 9mm flying at your head from sub2k is just as deadly as if it came from a HK mp5. I can so defend myself with a Sub2k easily. Anyone having doubts about the effectiveness of the 2k go ahead and pay 2 or 3k for H&K or any other high end piece. Like the High point Kel-tec has its detractors about fit finish feel whatever, result is it works. Kel-tec will soon be releasing larger calibers soon look for .45 acp and even a .44LC possibly

It was reliable. How many rounds you could put through the barrel vs a military rifle like an SKS I don't know. Barrels get hot, accuracy suffers etc etc. How durable it would be when abused, or reliable with dirt etc in the mix I'd question, and I didn't like the sights. Could be my eyes, skill, personal preference.

I mounted a 45 degree mount on mine with a green dot and it folds and locks beautifully without having to buy the mcarbo gadgets etc. With the 16.25 inch barrel I am achieving near 357 mag velocities. AND it interchanges magazines with my main carry gun my Glock 17! One helluva bug out gun that's rugged and extremely reliable and easy to clean. .
