I've been traveling alone a lot to New York in June due to personal responsibilities. As a person who had lived in the east coast most of the years after I came to the states, the decision to move to the west coast a couple years ago accompanied by a lot of nostalgia for the life at the east coast.
It was until recently, during these travels, I started to miss my life in LA for the first time. I couldn't wait to come back to my own space, take care of the plants on my patio, open up my packages, and cook myself food that both soothe and satiate my stomach.
If I think of me and my life as being in an emotional relationship, then I may not be a very good partner. A partner that only realizes what she had had until she's left. People say memories often beautify the past. Things that happened were put on those soft warm nostalgia filters. Then my current life, in that sense, might just be my dream life in the future.
People also say that reminiscing the past too much means you're not satisfied with the present. But if every past period of time has something worth reminiscing about, and I find myself doing almost all of them, then maybe I wasn't actually living in the moment.
There will not be the most perfect condition/time in life unless I stay in it at the moment.
So, for my imperfect daily life, I want to try to be a perfect partner - a person who will not only cherish her current life when she's away from it.
    Life is not elsewhere.
The present moment is all we have.
    Cheers🥂

As someone who also likes to travel alone, I relate very much to what you said in this video. I also rarely wear makeup now and mostly just use tinted sunscreens as my base. As you said, it feels more real this way ☺ this is the first video I've found from your channel and I'm so happy I clicked. it's very beautiful and your words speak to me a lot. I'm also going to try to make the tofu chips! wishing you a lovely rest of your week🍃🤍

@@yyyingzhou thank you so much for your sweet words and for taking a look at my channel! ☺ so exciting to meet others interested in Korea and learning Korean. it's a challenging language but with lots of connections to Chinese I'm sure you'll have an easy time with it! I was actually wondering if the teacher at your pilates studio in the New Year vlog I watched on your channel was Korean. I couldn't hear too clearly but I kept thinking I was hearing Korean at certain moments haha. sending love 🫶

@@dalsol달설 yes!! The Pilate studio I go to is Korean owned! I go to Ktown in LA pretty often so a lot of places I go are Korean businesses.

Hiiii thanks for watchingI bought the apron at a local Korean convenience store. I like it too and sometimes I just wear it like an extra layer of dress😂Maybe searching Korean style apron online might help to find similar ones!!
