I remember this place, plus Mullers and Sandy beach.
The day of the Jamaican Jamboree I was at the Riverdale Armory for our drill weekend. We were put on standby until late evening so we were available to help search for weapons if needed. The story we heard was that Mullers wanted to build condos on the property, OR sell to a builder that wanted to. The town wouldn't approve this so Mullers started holding events that the people wouldn't like to force the towns hand. I don't know how true this is.

Hi Kevin, I have a question - Upstream of the weir above Potash lake on the right bank is a framework bar structure. It sits on a rock and cement bulkhead with stairs on either side going down to the water, but ending well above the current water level. To the left is what looks like the remains of a diving board mount. Do you know what that structure is? I went through your videos and did not see anything that matched that location. Thanks!

Actually the shoot out started at Mullers (FRG Complex) and spilled over into Pleasureland. And, the Jamaican gangs were from Queens.
