I suggest the DZ09 smartwatch. You can easily find it online for around $15. Even though it's not that "amazing" it functions great for the price. It also has a camera that is pretty acceptable. Hope that helps.

1. Rolex's have materials such as real gold, and diamond, which is why they are so expensive.
2. Rolex's are for the rich, so price doesn't really matter for someone looking to buy a Rolex, but Lew was trying to say this is an affordable smartwatch, which it obviously isn't.
That's like someone saying a corvette is too expensive for them at $80,000, then you say "well Bugatti's are $2 million so quit complaining about the price."

Battery life is pretty much the same as in every other smartwatch except Pebble. Pebble also doesn't have GPS, WiFi and so on.. but fuck Pebble, fucking sellouts.
I'm not sure I need GPS or WiFi on my watch, since it is always connected to the phone and the phone has those.
Also, I am not sure they are sellouts. I understand the company was in debt and I suspect Typhoon Megi (mentioned several times in Kickstarter updates) did not help.

This is a great family of watches. I had a LG Urbane and loved it! But my newer version of this tic watch is awesome. The tic watch E is lighter,brighter and has a speaker built in too. All this for $50-60 less than my LG. Get or don't get a smart watch. Whatever works for you, me.. Tic watch e !!! Good Job Lew!

It's really sleak though. Does look more bulky than it is on the wrist. No problems at all with shirts or jackets.

Thanks for this video. It actually looks like an improvement over the current Android Wear watches. I have had a G watch r since it came out and the first people ask me is if I can use it to talk and hear people with it. Nice to be informed there is a new watch out there you can do it with. Lately I bought a Fossil smartwatch for my wife and had I known about this I would have goteen one of these instead.

I actually bought this item for 7$ and it works quite well battery does well, preforms as expected for the price. Infact it's speaker is much better than anticipated.

Pebble was going under regardless. I'm not sure how I feel about them release one of their next gen devices, but not the rest. And abandoning their fan base right after just plain sucks. It's a mess.

I own the original Moto 360, I have had it for about a year now and I love it. If it were up to me now I would get the Moto 360 2nd Gen cause they revamped the old and improved it but all in all I love my Moto 360

I bought this on kickstarter for 150$ I have the Snow White version and i think its amazing. I'm using the watch on IOS, which i will admit, has some problems. The company that makes the watch, mobovi, is very good at listening to the community, and feedback from the owners. Since the few short months of the kickstarter, ive used the watch so much and meen completely satisfied with it. For 150$ I got a watch with full phone communication, heart rate sensor, 3 GPS sensors (so you can track a run without having your phone) and a water resistant case. The Onyx has the metal band, and a better steel on it. It also features sapphire glass, which your $10000 apple watch dosent have.

I heard you can have Firefox browser on this watch with some hacking. But the keyboard won't work.
Smartwatch shouldn't have qwerty keyboard. There are plenty of ways to input text on such small screen.
you can get 3g web browsers on Chinese knockoff smart watches because most of them basically run skinned Android. Trust me though when I say it's worth taking your phone out of your pocket for web browsing. trying to navigate a web page on a 1 inch screen is tedious at best.

Switched to a Asus Zenwatch 2 when it was $70 in BF since I saw the writing on the wall with Pebble. Honestly? Eh. I miss Pebble. Such a cumbersome interface. Android Wear is a PITA. And battery life is no where as good.

So.... what's the battery life? Level of water resistance? If the answers are 4-5 days and 3ATM, then yes, $200 is a fine price for it. If the answers are 1-2 days if you keep the screen off, and IP67, then it's just an expensive knockoff of any half-decent wear watch.

As someone who wears casio g-shock it will be hard to wear something like this for daily use.

Don't spread misinformation, I can't speak to the accuracy of the devices reading but, 48 bpm is a *really good* and *healthy* resting heart rate. I think the average for _most_ adults is 60-90 bpm, keep in mind this is the average adult and most of us *aren't* healthy.
Also that's one beat every 0.8 seconds (bpm dividing by 60(seconds in a minute)), I don't know where you got 1.29 seconds from haha. I tried dividing 60 by 48 and that's still only 1.25.
I thougt I was the only one who notice this, as an adult man speaking and doing an activity this reading is not acurate at all, youll need be in deep sleep or in coma to get a heart rate like that.
