Omega really isn't that special, it's a HD re-release of a HD re-release, but with 2048, so if you haven't played that then it's a sound investment.

Put the music in a playlist on your PS3 then in the WipEout pause menu got to audio options, the option is like custom playlist or something.

And if it aligns on your moral compass and you have the specs, you can emulate all of the games. It might be a bit rough, but you'll figure it out
