I’ve been following you because of the distress oxides and distress inks. So many companies have their own inks. I’ve made a big investment in the oxides and was so happy to see you using them!
Hi, just discovered your channel researching distress oxide. Wow, I am so grateful to you for your youtube video's. I have seen many but you are over the top. Thank you so much. I am a beginner or slow starter. I appreciate that you are not using so many different inks to explain. Not knowing I brought a lot of distress oxide in and now I can feel more confident in using them. You do such beautiful work, hopefully I will do 3/4th a good. Thank you
What a great card! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Distress Oxides. I use them all the time, even for sentiments. And what a fun way to do a rainbow background. Now I realize I don’t always have to do rainbow blends top to bottom. What fun! TFS!
Such a pretty card, and a really straightforward, easy technique. This and your DO series have really re-awoken my love for these versatile inks, TY!!🧑🏼🎨😀👏🏻👏🏻
What a pretty card. I love the rainbow background. The subtle leaves around the edges are a perfect compliment. Thank you Lou for another great project. Crafty Hugs - Dawn 🌅
New to your channel and LOVING what you create! You mentioned in your video that you weren't supposed to blend the ink all the way into the middle; I think your card turned out quite stunning, but I was wondering what you had initially had in mind??
Thank you 😊 I was going to leave a white area in the center and just stamp the sentiment in black ink directly onto the base. It would’ve made this a bit quicker but I got carried away 🤣
Thank you ever so much. My mojo has flown out the window and to a whole other continent, but I must make a card today for a friend who’s quite down after having to have her very old and dear cat euthanized. I kept thinking about literal cards with cats, rainbows (rainbow bridge), etc., but a card like yours will be perfect.
Another beautiful card
