I just got back into the game after taking a 6 month break. I came back about 3 days ago and already have played 14 hours lol i play dbd on xbox playstation and pc. On pc I have 154 hours dont know about xbox and playstation
@ADHDZIRA yess I understand. The game is constantly competitive and no one plays for fun. I have quit to in the season skull merchant came. I do like skull. Sometimes it's good to take breaks.
I do have to say its healthy to take breaks. I've been playing for basically 8 years too and "only" have 5k hours. If I played consistently without taking breaks, I would have definitely gotten 20k hours in by now. Also, the person with the most hours averages 17 hours per day. Literally, they have 51000 hours in DBD, which basically means they wake up, turn on the PC to load up DBD and leave it on untill they turn off the PC and go to bed.
Apparently I’m almost at 10k lol but I’d say 40 percent is running the app while I’m at work or doing something else and keep forgetting to turn off pc xD
the saddest part is that yall prob hide in lockers till everyone of your teammates dies so you can escape and feel good about ur selfs bcs uve spend that much time in the game and yall still bad at it
LOLLLL my boyfriend made fun of me for being addicted to the game bcs i got 200 hours in four months and i have school every week, wouldve been way more if i got banned from idv sooner

I mean, I understood how to play a game with all characters in about 800 hours. You need at best 50 hours in any specific killer to understand them. I didnt understand all the perks untill 2000 hours in tho, but I've seen people with 5000 hours who called perk X OP because it was placed in the spotlight due to a small buff. Like, I used to run Windows of Oppertunity when the range was more limited and had a cooldown. People who saw me run it called me a noob for needing aura's in chase (even though literally everyone else relied on Dead Hard to even get close to the times I got). Then the range got increased a little and the cooldown removed, and now its suddenly OP and pro's consider people noobs for not realizing the power of WoO. People playing the game with 9k hours and still not knowing what half the perks do
2k? oh so you you just started playing.
I’ve matched with several players over 10k lmao and they weren’t even that good or probably just not trying

ik this is framed as a joke but its completely true. I guess that's what you get playing a game with near zero transferrable skills.
im slowly getting into the game. i use to only play killer but now im seeing how much fun it is looping and escaping killers
