I been watching different blackwing players recipes and this one is the one I like the most, because if you get max c'ed you can still go at least into armor master and may be the searchable hand trap, also that armor dragon tech its mind blowing thank you so much for sharing it
Amazing deck theory. Always inspiring watching your videos. Just a thought, if you XYZ summon Dragon of Annihilation into a zone that Bardiche points to, activate it's effect, and destroy Black Whirlwind, you won't have to take the 1000LP damage from Simoon during the end phase. All things aside, I'm going to be using this deck as a basis for my grind to qualifiers!
True, that will save you a 1000. But if you manage to pull this off, you'd probably have already won. So if you manage to get your placement sorted whilst doing the combo, then obviously go for it! I made it slightly easier on myself to not care about placements.
Touché. You've definitely rekindled my love for blackwings. They've come a long way from the days of Shura and Blizzard the far North. Looking forward to more videos!
I prefer to use Zephyros effect to put black whirlwind back into the hand, negating the 1000 LP damage because it technically loses the target even if you activate it again from your hand.
@@alastorcorvus Is a great way of circumvent the damage, but I would only do that if Black Feather Whirlwind isn't on the field. If BFW is bounced to the hand, you can reactivate and use its effect again for another reborn-like effect. In my opinion, the 1000 damage you'll take by bouncing the BFW over Black Whirlwind to extend your plays is definitely worth it.
It does kinda poorly going second though (which I've experienced plenty so far, lost more than 80% of my coin tosses). But if you can get Kali Yugi online, it is tough for the opponent to get anywhere.
Sorry, just to check, once you go into Kali Yuga on your opponent's turn, does that mean you lose your burn effects and omni-negate? So, is the idea to use those burn effects and omni negate before summoning kali yuga?
You are correct in that Kali Yuga negates all effects on the field and makes sure that new cards cannot be activated on the field. So yeah, you will lose your omni and burn. On the other hand, you also made sure that the opponent cannot activate any effect on the field for that turn, no monster effects, no spells, etc. So they are also no longer necessary and you save it for a next turn. I would just go into Kali Yuga asap and use the omni and burn effect as a safety net in case the Kali Yuga summon gets interrupted (since you can only activate the spell to summon Kali Yuga in the main phase). Banking on the burn or omni first seems risky.
i have a different kali yuga combo that ends up with bardiche, hot red, draco berserker 2 assault drags or 1 assault + 1 full armor master and kali yuga
If I had a Draco Berserker, I might have gone for that line, but sadly wasn't lucky enough to pull it when I went for some Tenyi's (and do not see the need to craft it now). Definitely a good option though!
@@cognitivegrub0 I meant the one u add to hand from the xyz after raiders knight? Like what if I summon falcon with three materials, or how to avoid that?
@@zachmcmxcv2706 Are you talking about the new Raidraptor support? Cause this variant doesn't run Raider's Knight. Anyway, if you are talking about the new RR support, might want to check out a newer video from someone else, like this one: ruclips.net/video/eo17Uq-tneQ/видео.htmlfeature=shared. This video was made about a year ago when the Blackwing support was just added into MD.
You don't (aside from normal summoning and then synchro/linking it off). You could run two though. It is a risk running one, which I've found out the hard way during the WCS event.
Have been fairly unlucky and lost the coin toss in 80% of my matches so far. The deck struggles going second, but I see the same thing happening to pure BW's too. It is all about preferences, I prefer shutting the opponent down for an entire turn, if I get the chance to.
Sometimes i struggled when part of early combo like vata got interrupted or zephyros started in hand, as a result my endboard in a weak state and yeah losing poorly 🥲

No problem! I hope it will help you get wins!
another great simple and well edited video thanks again!
Thanks!
Love your videos. Short and to the point!
Thanks! Much appreciated!

Very nice! I’m playing the pure version for now but I’ll give this version a try later on.

can you summon kali yuga if you draw rank up?
Yeah, you can just set it and use it on the opponent's turn, it is a quick play spell.

Inherit weakness of the deck, sadly. You could try to run a second Zeph, or hope you can Crossout their interruption, or just be lucky.
