Try to brute force it or surrender. There is a reason this deck isn't played widely - it is not that good overall. But it got a very cheesy strat going fist that can cheat out wins. Btw, the new list (linked in the description and in the comments) is better in the consistency department, but after the banning of Iblee, wouldn't really work anymore.I'd suggest combining Dogmatika with other decks that do not use the ED that often and/or are Ritual decks. Such as, Nouvelles, Voiceless, Drytron, Megalith, etc.

And Centur-Ion will get some more support later which will make the deck even stronger, so it is a great investment!

@@bluedragon2049 It will not even be that many that you'll need. There is a level 8 synchro that will search 'Emblema' cards and can pop 2 cards (1 on each field - remember that Centur-Ion has a build in destroy protection), and is played at 1-2. And there is a lvl 4 main deck monster that is not that special (often at 1) but has the same summoning mechanic as Primera and Trudea (from the backrow) and may possibly draw 1 card, but is also a Tuner. So you'll only going to need to craft 2-3 cards at most and I doubt that the main deck monster will be an UR (the synchro likely will be though)

You must be really happy with the banlist changes then? And enjoyment is the most important thing in a game, imho.

B+ is my no means a bad deck, it just didn't perform as well as higher ranked decks in Master Duel overall. Also, Tenpai has been overrepresented and, even though they are quite simple to pilot, played unoptimally due to its recent release. You wrecking Tenpai like they are nothing is a testament to your excellent dueling skills too btw!

@cognitivegrub0 Thanks man! I feel like I got ALOT of practice againt them the first three days of release. Tenpai and Yubel was all I saw.

@@michaelshine8837 At that time those two literally made up 40% of decks played (with Tenpai being up tp 30% even). Currently it is Tenpai around 19%, win rate roughly 58% and Yubel around 7% playrate and a 59% win rate. Snake Eyes seem to be nearly absent at higher levels, and dragged down by lesser experienced player at lower levels. So their overall stats aren't great atm.

@cognitivegrub0 yea the hits to poplar, bonfire, and kirin made people either readjust or quit the deck. I had already been playing with the idea of one poplar cause I could smell the hits coming. Birch isn't a perfect replacement but it does give you a second search target for oaks ability. That and a second Ponix have evened it out enough to make me feel the hits less.

It is hardly played because especially meta hand traps will severely hinder this deck too. I have no actual stats, but it won't be over 40% win rate versus meta (likely lower), which is fine for a deck that doesn't run any meta cards. If you'd include meta hand traps the winrate goes up but I still wouldn't see it go over 40%. As a reference, Swordsoul (which is a better deck) only had a 45% winrate last 2 weeks. This deck's gimmick is that it is very cheap and can win games, just not that many in a row.

~30% playrate with a near 57% winrate is nothing th scuff at and significantly more than our 2nd ranked deck (~5% winrate, ~56% winrate). I can see why Lab would be a counter though, so good for you that you've found a reliable way of shutting them down!

Most potent Centur-Ion variant I've seen is with Bystials, but with Mannadium sounds more fun.

That says more about your skill with the deck then the deck overall. I mean that your skills far exceed the average of Swordsoul users, and I can tell you, from pure performance overall... it isn't great (~2% playrate, ~45% winrate, comparable with HERO and Raidraptor).

I think that the introduction of Tenpai will always have been a bit rough - it is an easy to use good deck. I was mostly surprised their pre-limits where not as severe. We've seen Tear being introduced with several hits (which weren't even enough), so would have expected hit similar to the OCG for Tenpai too. Alas, now they dominate the ladder for 2 months until the selection pack times out.

Let's just say Lab is easy to mess up, but experienced players can cheat out wins (both in deck building and gameplay) due to the amount of variation (in mostly trap cards) you can run in the deck.

A lot of the skill ceiling is building and understanding what traps you need and how you spend your resources the deck is easy to pick up but playing it at a higher level is harder

It does have a reasonable Tenpai match-up, which caused its performance to rise though. In genuinely is (or at least last week) a decently performing deck.

Think that will destroy the deck, but it will work weakening it 😅 In the TCG Tenpai is the second strongest (after Yubel with Fiendsmith) with only a limit for the field spell. In the OCG Tenpai is the third strongest (after Ryzael and Maliss - both have not been introduced in the TCG yet) with a limit to the field spell and Chundra. Looking at this, we can only hope Konami will do something stronger for Master Duel.

Ritual Beasts have increased their winrate the past week and is close to Tenpai, but is far from Tenpai's playrate (~3% v ~30%). Yubel also has a similar winrate, but double the playrate of Ritual Beast, so would always be ranked higher than RB's. This list is not a list showcasing their powerceiling (RB is quite high), but really about its factual performance in Master Duel incorporating both win- and playrate.

Map and Empen are at 1 currently. Its resurface is definitely caused by its great Tenpai match-up. So I can see what you are saying!

@@cognitivegrub0 uh 1 map IS a little unconsistent. Empen at one IS Not that Bad AS map but If i remember correctly Terra forming IS also banned in MD. You can get IT effizient with 4 cards and one IS map itselve. ITS Kind of Bad. Why do they Limit floo Like that but then there are Decks Like yubel snakeeyes and tenpai😂

@@ajax1200 Yeah, Terraforming is banned too, which makes floo somewhat inconsistent in their plays. I think that Konami decided to limit them in this way because the deck is relatively cheap (only adventure is a 3-off UR, we can argue about Snowl - which is also an UR). But all the other cards are SR or lower. With the most recent event, where Tenpai is mostly unhit, I feel like Konami favours money over gameplay (I know they are intertwined to a certain degree).

Looking at the release schedule in the TCG/OCG, we can only assume that the Melodious support will arrive sooner than later. Curious to see what the scheduled Halloween theme pack will contain. Last year we received Promethean Princess around that time for example.

That, and its relatively wide space for errors. You can do 13k damage consistently (1-card combo), I believe. So you have some space to mess up.

Nah depending on how you build your deck, you can play through almost all handtraps fairly easily and stop board breakers

I've seen tenpai lose before so it's not op as people think which is good Timelords might help against it with hand traps never tried it though

@@bluedragon2049 The problem with Tenpai is not its strength. It is its relatively small core with simple gameplan. There is relatively little skill expression in Tenpai, but the opponent does need quite some skill to hand trap / interrupt at the right time to beat them. Also due to its small core, they can pack a lot of non-engine to interrupt you.

I can see that. All the B+'s are very close in their performance in both win- and playrate (Tear performs significantly worse than all the B+'s even though I think that deck should be better than some of those). Tenpai really squished down all the other decks together with only Yubel jumping out this pack a little.

This list is based on normal ranked ladder, not the Duel Triangle. So it performing well in a certain event can mean little for ranked (although Centurion is still my nr. 3, so it is very good on normal ranked too).

Then why did you bring up absent in events when the current event is where it is one of the strongest decks?
