It will be largely the same, but you should replace Nightmare Magician with Diabellze the Original Sinkeeper. Emissary from the House of Wax is a flex spot and you could put in the Fiend (Dark) Barrier Statue if you find yourself swamped by non-dark decks. The rest of the list is pretty solid if you'd ask me.

@@GambitMasterDuel At some point I'll be playing Branded again, but there are so many good Branded players (such as yourself) that it is hard to compete with. My most viewed gameplay videos are from decks like Plunder Patroll and Megalith, so...

That is often the sad part of these events, people just going on ladder to annoy the (...) out of you.

I have 2 Ready Fusion targets in my ED, a level 4 that paired with any level 2 Ghoti will give us Arionpos. And a level 5 tuner that paired with Mermaid Shark will also give us Arionpos. We know that Arionpos is the most important monster to get to for Ghoti. Also, the Ready Fusion is just a free fish, and we love free fishes. The sole reason I am playing it, is because I already had those cards. I wouldn't craft it (it didn't even came up often).

@ Ninja and Dragonmaid are pretty good, both have their core from structure decks. You can even match up Dragonmaid with a Black Metal Dragon and Red-Eyes DMD engine for more of a Dragon Link approach. Otherwise, the loaners are decent too.

They are fine during these watered down events (pun intented), but more importantly, they are fun to play. Or at least, that is my opinion. Played Ghoti mostly, with a final 2-3 games of Dragonmaid (not nearly as fun as Ghoti).

I wish I had the Horus cards, but they can work well with Plunder. I think Fiendsmith will arrive soon, and since they are Fiends, there must be some synergy there which I will look at soon. Plunder Lab is hard to play though, due to its locks. But so much fun! P.s. I will continue to make Plunder videos every once in a while. When Fiendsmith arrives, I'll play it again. Currently trying to get Ashened to work (which is hard).

@cognitivegrub0 it's ok bro. Wow fiendsmith will come? That's so good news, they play them with pirates. Ow with lab is hard? I am noob so it sounds hard to me. Ashened i did some research was a tcg exclusive deck and was a failure. I think you can mix them with volcanic.

@@xRafahl Looking at the OCG and TCG release schedule, I can only assume Fiendsmith will arrive within the next 1-2 months. And the main reason why Plunder is hard with Lab is that Plunder is looking itself within its own archeype (just read the effect of Whitebeard to see what I mean). Both Lab and Plunder can play on the opponent's turn, so it can be a but fiddly to get the ordering right. But you will learn by doing. I did quite some research on Ashened myself too and have made a 36+ min combo guide on them. They are mid on their own, but best combined in a pile version and I think I have just the spice for a next video, so stay tuned for that 😅

I've made this decklist which I believe is stronger than a pure list: ygoprodeck.com/deck/ashened-pile-558354 I am working on a 2nd video with a different list and new combos which is even stronger (in my opinion). Are there any ratios from a combo you are looking for in particular? Happy to assist in any way I can.

Yeah they would. But they are hard to get into one another (no direct lines bridging the two decks, Ashened aren't Fiends and Unchained not Pyro). If you can make it work, please let me know!

Pause during the last 5 seconds of the video and match the images. Other than that, it is a standard Scareclaw list with the Codebreaker package and some Formud Skippers to get access to Parallel Exceed (and eventually Knightmare Gryphon)

In most lists you cannot really search the card (I know that there are cards that do search it, but will you really play them in here?). Then it depends on how frequent you'd wanna go for the Gaia line. You can run it once and resolve it occasionally, or can run 3 to resolve it more often but also see some dead cards. It really is up to you. I think the best way to play Ashened in its current form is by making a pile deck and for example Horus seems a pretty good engine to couple Ashened with. Horus doesn't mind some dead cards as they can easily discard them. So it would make sense to play multiple Armaments in a list with Horus.

Cyberse Quantum Dragon - the main reason it is on is because it is a synchro 7, which you can make with the Nordic's (but not that easily btw) and it can bounce a monster when it battles it. We only run it because we have space in our ED, so I wouldn't craft it.

Think I've explained it somewhere and then someone else might have taken and perfected it. But, I write my script in notepad (or any other .txt-writer) and let Edge read it back with its voice support which I then record with Audacity. Why Edge? Simply because it has multiple voice options and speed options. And it is quite accessable.

@@GambitMasterDuel Microsoft Edge, one might have heard from it, but no one really uses it 😂 But the browser has a built-in voice play back function with a nice variety of voices, so perfect for this kind of thing. You can then record your pc's audio with free software like Audacity. And yeah, would not be suprised if Moha used that discription and ran with it (and he did that well). Bit saddened that he used the exact same voice though, I've switched now.

@@GambitMasterDuel There must be an app that allows you to record Text-To-Speech (TTS) for the Ipad. Regarding songs, previously I used the RUclips music library for songs. But more recently I went to ncs.io, who has an extensive library of NoCopyrightSongs (which is their name). Btw, if you want me to elaborate, you can always send me an email. Good luck!

@cognitivegrub0 i know. I did get all the ashend cards to make a deck but from what i see in this video, it does not appeal to me.

@@Goku-zu3rk I can see that for more people, this deck simply isn't great. I do love the art and the general gameplay of just gifting your opponent a time bomb, but in its current form it isn't great. Since I also love Drytron, I forced myself into this box, but for meta purposes it would have been better to skip this one. We have Fiendsmith, Millenium, Centur-Ion and Memento support on the horizon which have seen much more meta relevancy than the decks in this box. Thanks for being honest and share it with us. Always happy to hear what other people think (and I also don't mind the little engagement boost YT gets from that 😅)

I am not completely sure why, but I know there is a ruling difference between OCG and TCG. In the TCG the proposed interaction is allowed, but in the OCG isn't. I think Master Duel is based on OCG ruling (similar has the World Champion series where OCG and TCG are mixed together), so that would explain why you are not allowed to use Bale to chain block. I have to dive deeper into rulings why this is the case, and test it on MD myself, but I've found some post on Google that hints at this interaction. Sorry this isn't really a proper answer for your question at this time.

Yeah, really looking forward to those! Just more Pyro's for the ED would be nice.

Could be a thing, however what I don't like is popping the FK field spell and loosing all non-FK monsters. There is some synergy there for sure!

Chicken Game is at 3, you could run it just for the +1 and Enabling atleast our big Dragon.

@@1ordTakeo Or you could use the Vaylantz Field spells as when you activate one, you get two possible pops with Veidos. This becomes even better when you play Ashened with Snake-Eyes, as one of the field spells can give you some extension by special summoning a monster from your spell/trap zone. But it is an investment for your deck, with sometimes little benefit.

Also just sad that we don't have Terraforming (that would have worked with Thrust) in MD.

Yeah, pretty much 🤣 But on a serious note, it does give it a distinct flavour to Snake-Eyes if you combine the two.
