hey girl, I'm not sure if you'll see this.... but as a flight attendant myself, please never put your laptop in your check-in bag again. Sometimes it can be the reason it is offloaded as it goes through the scanners because it could get flagged up. Lithium batteries are inside the laptop, and the differential air pressure when you're flying makes the laptop at risk of becoming highly flammable. Therefore we ask all passengers to not place any items with these batteries in the hold as we cannot see or if it comes to it, resolve the issue if it does become flammable. The chances are low but it can happen, so for future travels just a heads up. Enjoy your New York trip :)
I’ll second that. The guy at the check-in desk for Jet2 warned us about this once and he said he knew of a flight where someone’s lithium battery did spontaneously set fire so to please make sure. I hadn’t realised my DSLR camera contained them and luckily checked when he said this and put them into my hand luggage. I’ve seen videos about this happening too it’s for your safety they’re not being awkward! :)

I think they say not to put laptops in the case because the batteries are flammable!! Please please do not do this again, it can cause a fire in the hold and no one is there to put it out!!!!! Jeopardises everyone on board 😢😢😢😢

Oh I had an issue like that when I drank alcohol from the age of like 18 to 20 I couldn’t drink at all! My face would feel like it was on fire and inflamed like in your pics. Sometimes I would even get tummy pains and have to go to the toilet, (sorry TMI) it was for 2 years and then after that I was able to drink again but I would have to just slowly sip my first drink then I would be mostly ok. Every now and then I still get a red hot face but at least it doesn’t swell now. Not sure what it is or if the is any cure but time 😢Feeling your pain. ❤❤❤

You usually drink vodka and vodka / gin tend to give the least reactions if you have anti inflammatory gut issues or an allergy. My partner flares up with certain alcohol and beer and he reacts similar from his chest up to his face.😢

ALLERGY - I think it’s alcohol! My friend had a similar allergy and his face would flare up red whenever he drank alcohol. Just thought I’d chime in as you aren’t sure between several possibilities xx
When Imogen said about this It’s a very well known ‘ old wife’s tale ‘ that if you eat crust on bread it will make your hair curly corse this isn’t true . But also like when people say eat the carrots to make you see in the dark xx
Well there's actually some truth re carrots- they contain Vitamin A, which prevents night blindness. So they don't make you see in the dark but they can help in preventing night blindness! :)
