A little backstory: I actually started playing Arknights _because_ of Kal'tsit. I was randomly browsing YT one day and happened to see the CN Announcement for Under Tides. I loved the atmosphere and music presented in the trailer and found Kal'tsit's design (and Mon3tr's) fascinating. So I gave Arknights a try. Ever since, she has steadily cemented herself as my favorite character. Her caring-yet-calculating nature and tactical acumen flow together with her potentially millennia spanning age to create a unique presence in the story that is simultaneously inspiring and tragic. If the Doktah sees the battlefield as a chessboard, then I would like to think of Kal'tsit as the one who wrote the rules. From her presence in the Campaign, to cameos in side stories and even an event that places her center stage, these all show only the briefest of glimpses into the epoch tapestry of her story. Though I think that is the point, as it reveals how even a decades-long conflict is only the briefest of stops on Kal'tsit's long, lonely road. Also the theme for AWitD is absolutely kickass and I love it. Cheers everyone and have fun! ^_^
@@govinlock8568 Thank you fellow Doktah! Cheers. ^_^ Assuming that UT directly follows, I can likely manage ~200 pulls total before the event ends, accounting for everything. Intresting, I only got into arknights when there was a rainbow six 6 collab with this game. It was my first time seeing it and I did see some ads about it though ads didn't help on how it was delivered. (The ads for arknights really sucks. Those that know about arknights infamous terrible adds than the trailers know this.) Though I was skeptical about why would they do a collab with arknights, a game i have no knowledge or haven't heard of it I didn't bother about it until a friend of mine in siege told me about Tachanka being in the game. That caught my interest as Tachanka is my Main/Meme/ Favorite guy to play as doing some casually unranked game. That's when I started checking arknights and found out the story very intriguing and intresting. I started after arknights somewhere near twilight womble. I have to be honest, I have no knowledge how the fu ck to do with my ops and have to look at guides on youtube how to beat stages since well... i kinda invest poorly when started out and I didn't know the reroll one. But I do remember my first 6 star ops, actually two for my first 10 pull. Those are SilverAsh and Angelina. Plus like all bug newbies, I didn't invest Anelina only until CC2 when I learn more about her skill. Not only that I didn't invest Vanguard at the time since i though they were weak and useless and focus on guards and defeneders and snipers. Than I got Suzuran during the event and E2 her immediately since her SK3 can heal, buff attack, and slow the enemy and i thought this is way better that Angelina (again i was a noob at that time). Only after the end of the year did I finally got my head together and started which op to invest, which lvl an E2 op can last long and which Class im lacking of. Currently Casters are the only one im lacking of since I can't decide who to pick and only have E2 eyjafjalla since someone told me she's a good burst damaged. Other than that I like the game lore story and all othet stuff, but the only thing I regret I started late, since I have this obessesion to get every medal. Sadly CC 0 and CC 1 (forgotten some) will be the only incomplete medals I will never get since it's a one time only. CC0 I Pass late and CC 1 I have poor choice of op to get event an SSS rank and other medals. Anyways that's how I got into arknights, A collab event I didn't know of a game I have 0 knowledge of. If that collab didn't happen or my friend didn't mention it, I will probably have overlook and think it another cash grab gacha games since I play Feh (Fire Emblem Heroes) and Dragalia before.
@@dannyfuerts8239 You probably haven't read the whole story, she played the simp, but is actually closer to a student, just not the medical kind but for the information gathering and scheming side of Kal'tsit.
Another great video! This gigantic chunk of information helps shed some light on Kal'tsit, a character who might be thought of as a "perfect character with no flaws". Perhaps she is a living example of "cursed with immortality", but where she simply does not die of age. If she were a true immortal, she wouldn't be afraid of any harm. When one dies in a good timeline, they'll die with the knowledge that everything will get better from that point onwards. With immortality, this is not possible - all good things come to an end after all. Reality reveals itself and Kal'tsit is confronted with a plethora of dilemmas she has too little control over in the grand scheme of war, conflict and disease. Because she's familiar with everything, she definitely has a high number in the age sector - Patriot knows her for a very long time and clearly states that her looks have not changed at all. He himself is as old as 200 years and he met her at a young age, so it's safe to say she's at least a few hundred years old? How about more examples? - knowledge of numerous languages, including Aegirian and ancient Sarkaz dialects; someone like Kal'tsit definitely has the time and capacity to cram on studies as these - what exactly do the Emperor's Blades do, to the point of being able to tell their presence from black snow alone; when she knew Pursuer was coming, I'd imagine that deep down she reacted like "damnit, again?!" - was she in other shenanigans prior to her employment in Westin Security? with her wisdom, she sure as hell looks like it This gets worse with time. She comes across more things she can't stop or she makes a bad decision on. At this point, I like to think that Rhodes Island is what keeps her going. By the end of Chapter 8: - she is honoring Theresa's promise by keeping Amiya and the Doctor safe.* - she can now honor Lillia's promise to take care of Louisa and shape her into a good doctor - she has her first true surrogate daughter in the form of a red-hooded wolf, Projekt Red - she continues to defy those by the likes of Loken by harboring kitties like Rosmontis - she convinced Lyudmila to ditch Reunion, herself doing it by going back to Siracusa. now i wonder, why did Kal'tsit bring her to Siracusa in the first place? Hypergryph makes themselves a lot of ground to build stories for later - the means to continue her eternal ambition from a comfortable place... for now. Kal'tsit has proven herself some insightful character development as the lore built itself to what WitD brought us. One more thing, when the Sarkaz mercenaries spare 3 for "questioning", we clearly see one of them ask the casters to "grill" them. I'm not sure what worse, burning them for fun or literally crisping them so they can eat those three? If the latter can be true for some Sarkaz, does that imply a disturbingly unique diet? Anyways, stay awesome brother. And thank you for the long video!
The question of her age is actually a really interesting topic we need to explore more at a later point, and you are definitely right at the „hinting at other plots part“, they have set up like ten more events within her story Cheers for adding that comment!
Not sure if you are joking about the grilling or not. Grill has been used as a term for intense questioning for a long time now. Although it came from the cooking sense it has no connection with eating or torturing for fun.
@@bigbob5797 no worries mate, I probably picked it up in school where the teachers would grill us for answers, or at home when parents would grill me about where I was all night.
Nothing screams badass like summoning a familiar monster made your own bones and able to create an poison that not even Ursus tech is able to discover it's contents.
God, I'm really excited for this video, 37 minutes of lore injected into my veins. I really like Arknight's plot, characters and other stuff the game has to offer, and the best part the lore keeps getting deeper and deeper, I really wonder what the endgame will look like, hype!
And with that event it got much deeper than ever before, there were countless little comments on places, events and people, it’s mad! And the end game will be us stopping Amiya from becoming Arknights-Cthulhu and turning everyone into Dust
As for that particular promise Kal'tsit continues to keep, we get a part of it in the infected PV and more of it from Kal'tsit's Promotion Record. (wiki's fan translation, subject to change) "When you see this letter, everything would have ended. I hid the letter in your desk without second thought. If you haven't sat down to think of your past quietly, you can't find this letter. These are for you in the past. ...Do you still remember the theories you've taught me? I still remember. You say the earth is not infinte; it's only a pile of dirt on the vast sphere. You say our bodies aren't created innately; we crawled before we've learnt to walk. You say the skies are like the ground, as both of them are rafts drifting in the sky... I remember them all, Kal'tsit. You said, you want to know the answer about yourself apart from the meaning of what we do; you once asked me what we've entrusted within this ship, and why I cared about it so much. I think my answer is childish, so I have never answered it directly. ...Kal'tsit, I can feel your loneliness. You are lonely because you think you have nothing similar to others. Kal'tsit, my answer is, I wish that Rhodes Island becomes your home. I've once thought to see the future with you together. The mission of Babel ended, while you and your ship has just started its journey. Now, go find the answer to your own question. After a long, long night, Rhodes Island will face the new dawn. The future gliding on the soft ground belongs to you all. I am not one of you, Kal'tsit. I cannot solve your problems. -But I am your friend. Always. Her Highness once said, Dr. Kal'tsit is the one hosting the final excavation of the ship. But now, we sometimes will see her running past the corridors, stop suddenly, and feel the walls with her hand. We still don't know what this ship means to Kal'tsit." It can't be Arknights without pain and suffering. *sad noises*
Amazing summary and deep dive into Kal'tsit This must've taken a lot of effort to put together so thank you so much! I always looks forward to seeing your lore videos in my subscription feed, and I'm so excited to learn more about Kal'tsit as the story continues ^_^
same - I was actually checking my feed for this video because I was a bit confused of some of the stuff that was said in the event- but now things make much more sense.
The thing that surprised me is that kal'tsit is still sane after everything that happened in her life. her story is just so sad everytime she found the good in humanity, humanity itself betrays her but again and again she found the goodness in it, truly a never ending cycle. Imo a good ending for kal'tsit is just to let her die in peace. But considering Arknights, that doesn't seem possible. Great video on shining the light of her story! Not everyone have the patience's to read the stories inside the game. Thank you for the video.
True! Depending on how old she actually is, I can imagine her going through a mental struggle like that after the first century or so actually Also please don’t make her die
One of my favorite things about Kal'tsit is how her story is presented. We don't sit down in multiple events with Kal'tsit and learn of her that way, but rather other characters get events and interact with her, and you have to piece her story together from that. She is the most involved and storied character in the game and it comes from her presence in other people's lives.
Arknights lore is really something look forward into. it's world building and the relevance of characters to the storyline and to each other is something special, kal'tsit backstory is more than enough to create her own Anime, Imagine what would HG give us once they start to focus on Dokutahs lore ( I hope we get to know priestess) which is arguably more enigmatic than our Acient Nekomimi Waifu with spinal issues. Anyway great video as always, hope you keep doing this videos!!!
You are so right dude! The best part is how Kaltsit‘s story is directly intertwined with the stories of so many other characters as well, Passenger, Crownslayer, Red and so many more
I saw some videos telling the story of the event and I thought that I knew everything. Now I know that I knew nothing till this moment. Thank you very much for this long ass video. I am really satisfied by it. Because of a language barrier and writing style it's really difficult to read the story from the source and you were always a big helper. I really appreciate the effort you put in making such videos and hope that you will keep it up that way.
I think I heard somewhere that Kal'tsit saw Patriot leaving Kazdel for Ursus. Also, Old Isin mentioned from his last dream to Elliot that he saw someone that looks very similar to Kal'tsit.
You are right, Patriot and her knew each other personally, however I didn’t want this video to be a loose collection of facts, so I only took the stuff we could piece together into one continuous story
I don't quite understand Kal'tsit's decision to keep one daughter in Ursus while sending another to Siracusa. I keep imagining what'd happen if Louisa and Lyudmila were raised like sisters and recruited into RI together.
If I had to make a guess, I'd say for security. I imagine as they got older the potential for people to connect them back to the massacre and start asking questions of how they ended up together and who put them there. RI or even Babel wasn't even an idea yet and it's not like she could've carried them along on her journey. Therefore she makes the decision to split them up just to be safe and hope they have normal lives without being dragged back into the mess.
I only recently got back to the game and your lore series is exactly what I need to re emerge myselfe in to this detalied world and to catch up on all things I missed.
@@QaiserMLG Thanks my dude, the only thing I regret is that I left the game. Can't wait to hear the next episode of the lore series. p.s. Did you notice that Kal‘tsit has heart-shaped pupils in her maid outfit on the main event art 😏
Been waiting for your next video for a while, and this video just blows all my expectations away in a 37 minute bomb. Looking forward to the next one and all you're future videos. Thanks, and as you say, Cheers!
Great video, really enjoyed it. One thing I would have mentioned was Old Isin's dreams, especially the last one about him seeing Kalt'sit beside the Padishah during the conquest of the Foehn Hotlands, which supposedly happened one thousand years ago, iirc, as said by Kalt'sit herself. At this point it's clear Kalt'sit is extremely old, or maybe she can travel to specific moments in history (kinda like the singularities in fate/GO ig). Whenever she talked about history events in a walk in the dust, it really seemed like she experienced them in first person, even though she was implying all the things she knew came from history records. In addition the fact she can speak so many languages and also ancient sarkaz makes her even more mysterious and interesting as a character. Whatever her real background is, I just hope I'll live long enough to see Kalt'sit's secrets finally be revelead lol
You are right, however at that point I had to leave out certain parts of the story, because the video would have just been too long The things I left out, like the question of her age, will then be discussed in separate videos
@@QaiserMLG yeah I completely understand that some things have to be cut out, it's just the whole dream situation was one of the most fascinating thing in the event for me and I was curious on your take, but overall it's not that important to understand Kalt'sit's story. Looking forward to your theories in future videos cause you always come up with really intriguing ideas lol
Thanks a lot fam, my English vocabulary only help me understand a partial of the story, and your explanation really fill in the gasp for not only Walk in the dust, but many more events and main story
I only started playing Arknights recently and the first event I had access to was A Walk in the Dust. Considering how little progress I had made in the main story, following what was happening in the event was very difficult and confusing, so this video definitely helped put things into perspective.
One of the things I loved of this event was the introduction of Demons... which promptly produced more questions than answers as per usual with AK lore. However, they explained one thing I was always curious about: what delimited the territories of Terra's map? rather, what was in those black blocks? It wasn't water, as we know few people have seen an ocean, let alone know what they are. It wasn't mountains or barriers a la AoT, since no one had never mentioned such a thing. So what was stopping the people from Terra to go there? Now, we have an answer, Demons. Whatever they are, it needed enormous armies to drove them away, and mere fragments are enough to power up one of the strongest enemies we have ever fought in the game. So while their introduction was brief, the impact they will have on the lore will be big. And I for once can't wait to know more about them.
@@QaiserMLG as so many of the countries on Terra are based on colonial era Earth nations a simpler reason for not conquering the unexplored regions is because there are no known resources there to control. Exploration costs money so there would need to be bored aristocrats in a time like the Age of Discovery or known resources (discovered through secondary trading), or resource scarcity (to push populations out) which doesn't seem to be a major theme in the game so far (scarcity due to war is different).
thank you so much for taking the time to make this video, wow!! its so great! i read the story but didnt understand anything (its quite lengthy and they use complicated words and english is not my first language-) so this really REALLY helped. Kal'tsit is such a great character

Qaiser MLG, I'm loving your work so far. Your voice is uniquely interesting, goes well with the story telling hahhaa. I been watching or listening to you talking about Arknight Lore for a while and thought... just how much more lore is there in the game lol
Well glad you like my voice, cause I don’t LMAO But since you’re asking: I have a 11 page word document filled with video ideas, theories and what not, so we’re definitely covered for now hahaha
This was a massive and very well-detailed video of Kalt'sit story on this event and I would say you did a very good job Qaiser on explaining and narrating us about her lore.I read the whole story but its just that the other thing doesn't make sense to me at all especially the small parts and you help me understand it clearly. Thank you very much
Solid content as always dude. Thanks for this rather organized timeline of Kal...and that really heightened my respect for her. Although not my waifu, she's indeed one type of a friend I would have for life, and Theresa is so lucky to have her. (Wish I could have one irl---no cap.) Not even that, as someone who wants to venture into science shit myself, she's kind of a role model to me. I really do hope by the time her banner pops out, I could manage to recruit her and read more into her own files rather than guessing who she is. Aaaand most of all, thanks Andrean---Lowlight-sama for making his own OC non-limited. At least it's an insurance that Kal can spook us anytime.
I agree with what you’re saying, even outside her being my Waifu I see her as a kind of comfort character, in the sense of with her being around things won’t go wrong and she’s gonna have your back
@@QaiserMLG She even seems to be the type to slap you with reality but then supports you in your endeavors and decisions as long as these won't harm ya. True gem of a friend. ✨
My theory is that the Ursus Empire is possibly the last villain in Arknights. Rhodes Island will probably fight the Reagent and take back Kazdel from Theresis, then Amiya will claim the Throne. After successfully taking Kazdel, they will wage war against the Ursus Empire to end it's reign of terror against the infected onçe and for all. Knowing that this is Arknights I'm not really sure if we will get a happy ending, they can even gave us a tragic ending. Our beloved operators like Blaze, Ch'en or even Amiya might die during the war. A bitter sweet ending is more possible, like we will win but a lot of lives will be sacrificed in the process including some famous Rhodes Islands operators.
@@QaiserMLG I don't know about that because Ursus Empire treat the infected worse than trash. Kazdel in my opinion won't be the final villains, they are potential allies since majority of the Sarkaz race are infected.
@@QaiserMLG I kinda agree with his theory too. The empire treat the infected worse than livestocks like working them on mines and then letting them to die suffering from oripathy. Uniting Kazdel makes more sense because the Sarkaz race are mostly infected.
@@QaiserMLG Ursus always had bad reputation when it comes to how they oppress the infected. I think bringing down a huge Empire would be the ultimate challenge for us. As of now Kazdel is not as strong as Ursus, there's no way Kazdel can take on the Ursus Empire. The possibility of Ursus becoming our ally is pretty low in my opinion.
as someone who recently started playing the game, ive missed a lot of events and the storyline and lores are all over the place. This is perfect for me and I'm loving it, kal'tsit is def one of top favs now
First of all, let me express my thanks for the awesome video as always Qaiser. Thank you. Second of all, The whole story behind kal'tsit was quite a mystery to me, where she started, why she acts like that and what's her objective, other than to save the human civilization or what not. Lastly, I wasn't sure what happened before the main story, i just knew we woke up from the sacrophagus and got put in all of this weird shit, but thanks for the clearer explanation of how we were covered in blood when theresa death happened, and kal'tsit just had to put us in a sacrophagus for healing, jump a few years later , we're here. Keep up the wonderful work as always!
Since they announced her in the CN live, I am saving for her. I am saving every single thing that can be used to headhunt. I was never this determinate before for an Arknights character. Edit: The day come. Her banner is out and I got her from less than ~48 000 Orundom. 🥺 She came home as the 2nd 6* on the banner. My first 6* pull was Eunectes.
Once I heard the name "Tkaronto", Toronto's indigenous name, I realized that the devs have actually done an insane amount of research to build up this world, the lore, and each individual character's story. My respect for them just went up even more, I didn't think that was possible! Thank you as well for compiling all of this, love these kind of videos! 👏👏
When you find out about the her backstory as well as learning about the parents of some of the operators, or enemies, you learn about why she comes off as so strict while being in her position. The whole thing with her, Red and Crownslayer hits a little more. Also wouldn't it be amazing if Closure was the child of those two studen we don't know about?
This was a very good side story, not only do we get to know Kal'tsit better but I especially enjoyed the greater lore they hinted at involving the lands outside of settled society and the monsters/demons that live there. I hope we get more on them soon, since mon3tr and the emperor's blades demons show how very powerful they most be. Also based on how old she is I wonder if she is one of the immortals like Kashchey? I gained a new appreciation for Kal'tsit from this side story and the video was great as always.
I hope in the future we can get a operator that's from the Ursus Royal guard of the Emperor's blade, idk how it would work because they are really loyal to Ursus, but it will be cool if we did.
Thank you so much for this video Qaiser. I have trouble understanding the lore sometimes and oh boy is this some juicy lore i want to know. It also brings so many questions to mind. How did the doctor "kill" theresa? Just how old is kal'tsit? Why was kal'tsit so 'loyal' to ancient sarkaz and kazdel? Hypergryph GIVE US MORE LORE!!
The great thing about some of her extreme old lore is it predates Arknights itself. Her being an unimaginably old being that works to protect and heal others was her original lore back when all she was, was an OC of Lowlight/Umineko, the creator of Arknights.
Thank you for this, I was trying to wrap my head around this event's story but couldn't make sense on how the 3 time periods are supposed to link together
I know English isn't your primary language so feel free to ignore any suggestions, but sarcophagus is sar koff a-gus. Keep up the good work, I do enjoy not only the information you have condensed but your delivery as well.
Kal'tsit is like tailor of Arknights universe, its amazing. Also one thing you mised on purpouse or not. In Ursus part of story we met "Doctor", he was one the Witte interacted with. That part blew my mind, i so want to see all logs and stories. I am still baffled how "gatcha game" has story telling i haven't encountered in quite a while in gaming.
At first i came to this game, all i know is just riots everywhere Now when i came into the lore deeper, the story just keep dropping, along with my brain that can't comprehend the story due to it's complexity and much much more, god this is confusing but interesting
[Possible SPOILERS in reply thread] A great vid Qaiser! A brilliant summary, and a really well done job of filling in the lines to create a phenomenal and coherent storyline. It's been hinted at her story extends much much earlier, possibly even a thousand-odd years ago if we are to take Old Isin seriously. I don't think we'll ever understand her completely, and I want it to stay that way. "Trek upon Terra, as millions of lives" - a line that possibly describes Kal'tsit the best in all of this word's lore. I find it interesting how you keep referring to the Emperor's Blade as "it". While it is hinted at the sort of demonic practices involved in the "establishment" of such Royal Guards, I still thought they retained some semblance of humanity; an idea I think you do not share. Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
She really has been through a lot, and the fact that she downright hates the Doctor's guts really must've put her on the tipping point. Though I have high hopes for this game to continue into the far future, unfortunately in Arknights fashion, all good thing must come to an end. I don't know what happened between her and us, but I feel like that would end Arknights (or the Arknights story) if it ever got to that point. I wouldn't be surprised if Arknights would ever to shut down its servers, the main story would end up with the Doctor dying, then have Kal'stit continuing her journey across Terra.
Any chance you might do a lore deep dive on the Emperor's Blade? Eveything Kal'tsit said about him, his powers and how he is able to be, suggests a far more deeper and darker lore.
I thought Doktah's high tech coffin would have some form of securities to prevent people poking it but nope i guess. I also want to think that Amiya is a genetic modified child of Therasa and our helmet dude. Hot damn Kaltits adventures are wild.

Caring-yet-calculating might be the best way to describe her I‘ve ever heard, your description of her definitely fits very well
Hope you get her on her upcoming banner friend!
So.. we only need Lyudmila joined Rhodes Island to complete the Kal'tsit Children Squad.
If we one day get her an Operator, I want a Story Event of them having a Family Gathering
You forgot Heidi.
@@zomfgroflmao1337 Heidi is most like a simp of Kyaru see (Kal'tsit) than a part of the children Squad, in my opinion Hahaha
@@dannyfuerts8239 You probably haven't read the whole story, she played the simp, but is actually closer to a student, just not the medical kind but for the information gathering and scheming side of Kal'tsit.
How many kal'tsit adopted/take care child? huh 😂
When i see her I can't see the other operator are 'waifu material'
"Haha lore in mobile tower defense anime game?"
*37 minutes long lore video about only one character drops*
😨
And I had to cut out a ton of stuff lmao
- knowledge of numerous languages, including Aegirian and ancient Sarkaz dialects; someone like Kal'tsit definitely has the time and capacity to cram on studies as these
- what exactly do the Emperor's Blades do, to the point of being able to tell their presence from black snow alone; when she knew Pursuer was coming, I'd imagine that deep down she reacted like "damnit, again?!"
- was she in other shenanigans prior to her employment in Westin Security? with her wisdom, she sure as hell looks like it
This gets worse with time. She comes across more things she can't stop or she makes a bad decision on. At this point, I like to think that Rhodes Island is what keeps her going. By the end of Chapter 8:
- she is honoring Theresa's promise by keeping Amiya and the Doctor safe.*
- she can now honor Lillia's promise to take care of Louisa and shape her into a good doctor
- she has her first true surrogate daughter in the form of a red-hooded wolf, Projekt Red
- she continues to defy those by the likes of Loken by harboring kitties like Rosmontis
- she convinced Lyudmila to ditch Reunion, herself doing it by going back to Siracusa. now i wonder, why did Kal'tsit bring her to Siracusa in the first place? Hypergryph makes themselves a lot of ground to build stories for later
- the means to continue her eternal ambition from a comfortable place...
The question of her age is actually a really interesting topic we need to explore more at a later point, and you are definitely right at the „hinting at other plots part“, they have set up like ten more events within her story
Cheers for adding that comment!
damn big bob
Not sure if you are joking about the grilling or not. Grill has been used as a term for intense questioning for a long time now. Although it came from the cooking sense it has no connection with eating or torturing for fun.
@@Paldasan I've simply never heard of this term before, which is odd. Thanks for giving me a new perspective, though.
@@bigbob5797 no worries mate, I probably picked it up in school where the teachers would grill us for answers, or at home when parents would grill me about where I was all night.

Did anyone else notice that when Theresa mentions Rhodes Island in her letter, Kal'sit's reaction is- "So soon..." It was nostalgia.
As for that particular promise Kal'tsit continues to keep, we get a part of it in the infected PV and more of it from Kal'tsit's Promotion Record. (wiki's fan translation, subject to change)
"When you see this letter, everything would have ended.
But loneliness has no cure, being astray has no end, and cancer cannot be cured...
I've did what I can do. I won't fret on my result.
We still don't know what this ship means to Kal'tsit."
It can't be Arknights without pain and suffering. *sad noises*
Wow... I have actually never read that before, this was genuinely beautiful
Thank you for make this event clear the whole passenger part was too complicated for me and you made it clear. Thanks a lot
It was complicated, I read it like three times
Amazing summary and deep dive into Kal'tsit
This must've taken a lot of effort to put together so thank you so much!
I always looks forward to seeing your lore videos in my subscription feed, and I'm so excited to learn more about Kal'tsit as the story continues ^_^
Yeah it took quite a bit lmao I‘m also excited for what’s next
same - I was actually checking my feed for this video because I was a bit confused of some of the stuff that was said in the event- but now things make much more sense.
Kal'tsit is oozing with main character
energy here in Walk in the Dust.
True! Depending on how old she actually is, I can imagine her going through a mental struggle like that after the first century or so actually
Also please don’t make her die
The best part is how Kaltsit‘s story is directly intertwined with the stories of so many other characters as well, Passenger, Crownslayer, Red and so many more
I think the reason why kaltsit use her real name when asassinate the grand Duke is because she want the Royal guard to hunt her instead of lillia.
Ayy, I‘m glad you liked it! The writing style of this event was pretty difficult, you’re right
I think I heard somewhere that Kal'tsit saw Patriot leaving Kazdel for Ursus.
Same here, them being there for each other would have made things a lot better for sure, but there most likely was a reason for it we don’t know yet
Things like this and the humor is why I support this channel. Thanks for your works
And thanks for your support! It genuinely means the world
I only recently got back to the game and your lore series is exactly what I need to re emerge myselfe in to this detalied world and to catch up on all things I missed.

Arknights honestly has better lore than a lot of anything I've ever read or watched, and it's great to know that there are RUclipsra like yourself willing to bring us the lore in well made videos like these. Looking forward to the next one and all you're future videos. Thanks, and as you say, Cheers!
Cheers, my Guy! It took quite some time to make this video lmao that’s why I was gone, but I‘m happy you liked it!
You are right, however at that point I had to leave out certain parts of the story, because the video would have just been too long
The things I left out, like the question of her age, will then be discussed in separate videos
This event was a very complicated one, I‘m glad the vid was helpful!
Thank you for putting this together, really wonderful job.
Can't wait for her banner and more story on her!
I was *waiting* for a video like this. I often don't have time to read the event stories so this is super helpful.
Glad I could be of help!
I only started playing Arknights recently and the first event I had access to was A Walk in the Dust. Considering how little progress I had made in the main story, following what was happening in the event was very difficult and confusing, so this video definitely helped put things into perspective.
Absolutely Amazing Video, from one of my favorite storytellers.
Ayyy, glad you liked it my dude
She's trying her best for the better civilization, but the people in Terra are just... something 😔
Exactly! I always wondered why Terra‘s Nation don’t just go ahead and take over the unexplored regions
Yeaah, the Event was pretty complicated
I was just waiting for this to make sense of all that lore dump from the event. You make it make so much more sense T_T.

That’s interesting my dude, cause I think that Ursus will one day become our ally LMAO
@@QaiserMLG I don't know about that because Ursus Empire treat the infected worse than trash. Kazdel in my opinion won't be the final villains, they are potential allies since majority of the Sarkaz race are infected.
@@QaiserMLG Amiya will probably unite Kazdel to fight Ursus Empire.
28:02 question's answer: She uses talk-no-jutsu to make the Royal Guard change his mind lol. She avoid conflicts if necessary.

My first 6* pull was Eunectes.
i am too tried to play the game to read the story with how complicated each stage get , your story summmary is very helpful thxxxx

Once I heard the name "Tkaronto", Toronto's indigenous name, I realized that the devs have actually done an insane amount of research to build up this world, the lore, and each individual character's story. YEASSẞSSS best catto's video is here
When you find out about the her backstory as well as learning about the parents of some of the operators, or enemies, you learn about why she comes off as so strict while being in her position. The whole thing with her, Red and Crownslayer hits a little more.
Also wouldn't it be amazing if Closure was the child of those two studen we don't know about?
Qaiser's narrating voice along with the walk in the dust ambient theme is the best combo
Thanks im too weak to advance past WD-7 so this is a good heads up!
I hope in the future we can get a operator that's from the Ursus Royal guard of the Emperor's blade, idk how it would work because they are really loyal to Ursus, but it will be cool if we did.
In time, before time...there was Kal'tsit
Thank you so much for this video Qaiser. I have trouble understanding the lore sometimes and oh boy is this some juicy lore i want to know. It also brings so many questions to mind.
How did the doctor "kill" theresa? Just how old is kal'tsit? Why was kal'tsit so 'loyal' to ancient sarkaz and kazdel?
Hypergryph GIVE US MORE LORE!!
Dude I also sometimes struggle with it lmao I‘m happy that I can be of help!
The great thing about some of her extreme old lore is it predates Arknights itself. Her being an unimaginably old being that works to protect and heal others was her original lore back when all she was, was an OC of Lowlight/Umineko, the creator of Arknights.
34 MINUTES?! Mah boi Qaiser you spoil us!
Thank you for this, I was trying to wrap my head around this event's story but couldn't make sense on how the 3 time periods are supposed to link together
Yeah it can be quite confusing at times, with the whole jumping between times and places

Thank you!!!
At first i came to this game, all i know is just riots everywhere
Now when i came into the lore deeper, the story just keep dropping, along with my brain that can't comprehend the story due to it's complexity and much much more, god this is confusing but interesting
[Possible SPOILERS in reply thread]
A great vid Qaiser!
Damn this is really summarized than the game that'll almost toll your 10 years of life in reading.
Completely worth the time
A whopping 37 minute video
You've outdone yourself Q!
Cheers to that!
I thought Doktah's high tech coffin would have some form of securities to prevent people poking it but nope i guess. I also want to think that Amiya is a genetic modified child of Therasa and our helmet dude.
Hot damn Kaltits adventures are wild.
Kal's suit was top notch and her little ponytail... Forgive me Father but I must simp.
