I would have added energy bars of some kind and there's no heat blanket and I didn't see a first Aid kit and bug spray , everything else is more than enough. ❤ Lilly.
If you are preparing for an ABC accident, you should consider more protection equipment, like an ABC blanket (check the SBU-67 Schutzumhang), strong plastic bags & tape for your feet, vinyl gloves, and of course extra water (only a few water filters on the market can handle radioactive or chemical contamination). A few analog dosimeters (Stabdosimeter FH39 from the Bundeswehr for example) will be more appropriate than the Geiger counter, since they don't require any energy supply, are EMP proof and will allow you to estimate the overall radiation dosis going into your body. Knowing this will be very helpfull once you get medical assistance. Dosimeters belong to the standard issue in the nuclear industry and the military.

Good bag, but socks and a beanie should still fit into. It is a little different from mine . But mine doubles as a bug out bag.. If a gasmask is necessary is everybodys personal decision. For me it is to heavy on electronics. I also have a pair of good small binoculars but I keep no electronic divices in my bag , just a powerbank, headlamp and I rather have extra socks, long wool underwear , a emergency bivy and a couple tools like a big screwdriver, channellock pliers etc. . I do have masks ,radios etc but those stay home and go with some other items into an extra bag for the bug out case. Two 'EPA' meals plus a couple bars emergency food and instant coffee plus sugar, included is also a small esbit stove. About 3000 calories total. I do carry some very basic hygiene stuff, like a toothbrush, soap and a small comb also some.insect repellent and, most important: spare glases. Some cash is recommend and like you I still keep some space in the pack to ad a lethal and/or a non lethal device.
Thanks Lilly an excellent video! The only thing I would add would be a sprit burner such as a Trangia or similar and a small bottle of methylated spirits.
Hi Lilly, very nice get home bag. Everything ya need and not a lot of weight. Love the sneaking through the woods part. I never thought of using a tampon for tinder in a fire starting kit. Thanks for the idea. Great video. 🙂
Turds are hitting my fan now. We are w/o city water going on 24 hours now and the way they're talking, another 48. Good thing I put back a 30 day supply of water. Which we are using now. Also have a swimming pool I can use for the toilet. A tropical storm had just come thru yesterday dropping 8 inches of water. Had been collecting water for the plants. Just using up the 2 buckets full from that.

A “get home bag” is different from a “bug out” or “inch (I’m never coming home)” bag. The “get home” bag is focused on gear based on your skillsets that you’ll need to use to get back home. Remember, the place you feel safest at, is usually at home, and that is where all your stuff is-life’s necessities, tools, comfort items, etc., and where you feel most comfortable. In most shtf and unexpected situations, when the unexpected happens, people will do whatever they can to initially return home. Nobody wants to sift through all the stuff they have to take only what they’ll think they’ll need to bug out or pack/haul everything they’ll need to restart/“start over” somewhere else, especially when not knowing where that “somewhere else” is, what’s between them and the desired location, weather, dangers, zombies, etc..
I think carrying a box of vanilla birthday candles would be useful. a cammo stick, a parabolic hand-held microphone. You could listen to what is ahead of you before someone can spot you.
Nice Set up Lilly look like your well prepared for any bad Scenario !! Few items In it I will consider buying....thanks for the great Video Appricate the post !!😊🙏🙏
That gas mask looks great. The ones that I have used when I was in military were not as nice as yours. Get extra filters as there are time limits on filters in use in contaminated areas. Good job Lilly!
You can put a particle filter on it and leave it there, a packed class II filter like she has there will last you a very long time. You are not in a closed space and you will not stay there either. If you do not make it with one filter then you already have too little food and drinking water with you. Pathogens can be filtered out of the water, chemical pollution cannot with a simple filter. I would rather take 1kg of water with me than 1/2 kilo of extra filter.
Hi Lilly, you forgot sugar, magnesium & potassium supplements. There were two doctors hiking in the Amazon, one doctor developed leg cramps and was unable to continue. He hung in his hammock until the other doctor returned. He had no salt, no sugar, no potassium. He said as a doctor going into such a humid environment, i should have known better. Add a small bag of light brown sugar rather than refined sugar, and magnesium potassium asporotates capsules as supplements and you should be good to go. I would add small packs of snacks that wouldn't take up space in the backpack. 4patriots and My patriots are survival food companies that carry food bars you can eat on the go. I've purchased food bars from both. And there are protein bars you can buy at health food stores. Everybody doesn't know how to fish or trap small game for food. And you would have to cook what you catch, smoke or the smell of smoke can attract attention. Snacks allow you eat and still have maximum stealth.
@ParadisePrepper Looked them up on line, had many good reviews but they didn't have the food bars listed. They has some good food items I'm going to try like the powdered eggs. If they have powdered eggs that taste like the real thing they will have a loyal customer. Thanks.
Great stuff Lilly. I actually bought that radiation meter based on your review. Personally I would include food & water to negate the need for foraging and just focus on getting where you need to be.
Not to be a sad ham 😂, but a word of caution on the RT-5R radio: unless it is built differently for Europe, it only receives FM signal. It won't even tune down into kHz territory, but Lily does it right. She also carries a SW radio. If it has MW band, she can listen to AM broadcast.

hello lily, the video you uploaded is very nice, I agree with all the materials, the only thing I would change is the backpack, I would prefer a more everyday backpack to not attract the attention of those around and at the same time be tactical and the second and very basic is 20 meters of climbing rope 8.5 mm 2 carabiners, and 2 safety straps
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the kislux leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
I bought the same radiation meter based on your previous review video! Thank you so much for the info! There are so many cheap ones that don't work and my budget doesn't leave a lot of room for bad purchases lol. I really appreciate your videos!
3M sells adapters to turn the 40mm gas mask thread into a bayonet style filter for the 2091 (P100) and the 7093 cartridge filter. Both of these filters are P100/particulate filters, great for fire smoke, dust/dirt, and airborne viruses and bacteria. Only critique I'd offer. drop that terrible "night vision" thing, and replace the size/weight with some real food, like a jar of peanut butter. There's so much light coming out of the back end of that thing, you turn it on and it'll light up your position, and it will blind you once you take it off.
I was thinking about getting a Ruger 10-22 takedown for a bugout kit. Do you have an opinion about those style of collapsing/takedown small caliber rifles?
I don't believe those are an option for Lily in Vienna. But depending on your local laws (or adherence to 😉) those are great survival tools and offer a minimum amount of personal defense I would deem effective against most threats, also Ruger 22's are among the most reliable and common 22 available. So maintenance and spare parts are widely available. I would highly recommend!
Ruger 10-22 Takedown is an excellent firearm. Can fit in a backpack and very reliable and .22LR ammo is pretty common and effective, and subsonic ammo is quiet.
my get home bag holds a 5.5” ruger single six 22wmr/lr single action revolver. 22wmr cylinder for protection, 22lr cylinder for minimags & quiets for small work. 100 rounds of each is light enough to easily carry long distances. simply fieldstrips into three parts. carried in a chest holster under a jacket i am not viewed as a rifleman threat when seen from a distance. ruger super wrangler is a $260 yet excellent, new in box, inexpensive alternative. a hit from either 22 round is not a one-shot man-stopper, but both are cheap enough to practice and become proficient. accurately placed hits with a 22 will buy you space & time to get off the x.
You are always charming to me, your videos. Extreme, yes! Lord Vader, had one of those masks! lol I could work on a backpack like that for like my car in winter. But I'm not bugging out to anywhere! And you give good ideas!
Hy Lilly. You dosen’t Show your First Aid Kit. I think this Kit is to Little. I have an IFAK in Military Standard plus Bubu Kit. The are AA and AAA Accus as Lithium ion Accus around, that you can Charge with usb-C. They also Last very long. Multitools are Good from Ganzo or Nextool. Flashlight i often use from Sofirn. The Tactical Series (with a t in the Number) are my Favoriten. When you pack expanders in the Bag, you can quick Set the Ponch in Roof Position.
Also would be a great addition if you find yourself in the woods a snugpak stratosphere one man tent it's amazing but of kit light weight and easy to use and doesn't take up much space
Lily instead of using a tampon, try getting an empty pill bottle and some cotton balls and vaseline. You stick the cotton balls in the vaseline covering most of the cotton ball. Then you put about 7 or 8 cotton balls covered in vaseline in the pill bottle. They will float on water and still burn. They are small and light and take up no more room than a pill bottle. They are easy to light and burn for a few minutes giving you time to add kindling. Try it but be careful to remove the cotton balls with a small stick to use for fire. If you get vaseline on your fingers and start a fire you could light your fingers on fire.
that is a good idea but the tampon has multi uses ie. 1st aid, shoe padding, trail markings, just saying but thanks for the heads up on the Vaseline :)
@@ParadisePrepper yes I teach first aid at fire departments and I always mention to the firefighters and first responders that a tampon is great for stopping bleeding if someone has been shot or has had a penetrating wound where something round stuck into them and was removed.
It will go nuts with higher values but the most important thing is that it warns of fallout and that means putting on a mask so that radioactive particles don't get into your system.
@@rolf2721 That's what I thought at first, until I listened to several experts, they all say the same thing, these cheap geiger counters don't max out at higher radiation levels, they get overwhelmed and reset to zero! Which is extremely dangerous because it gives you a false sense of security. It's also been tested. For nuclear fallout, you need these Cold War-era pancake Geiger counters/nuclear survey meters that also detect alpha radiation.
@@x_VALTIEL_x if the radiation is that high you will know it, because only a nuclear meltdown or a nuclear bomb can cause this much radiation. I also have a geiger counter for high level radiation in this case. In case of this much radiation you need to shelter in your basement for at least 3 weeks, and you cannot go outside at all.
@@SurvivalLilly Nuclear meltdowns and b0mbs are what I'd use a Geiger counter for, mainly to check the radiation levels after the three weeks you mentioned. Because honestly, I wouldn't bet on the government telling the citizens in time if it's safe or not. Especially not the German government.

As a Marine, if I had carried my gas mask outside on my ruck - I would have been crucified. I like the idea of a Geiger counter. I need to add one and some potassium iodide tables. Thanks for the videos.

Always love your videos Lily! Thank you for your time and effort.
I would add a bucket hat with brim and add sun block cream.

I do carry some very basic hygiene stuff, like a toothbrush, soap and a small comb also some.insect repellent and, most important:
spare glases.
Hello from my Wisconsin Farm!
I’ve got a WW2 Prismatic compass for greater accuracy ❤

Cramps are never a good thing when you are on the move. Thanks for the video. Ich Liebe Dich. Auf wiedersehen.

I am missing: 1-2 additonal pair of socks. Most critical items. Tipps for clothing (longarm shirt protects against sun) as well as proper trousers. Get some protection (pepperspray pistol, axe or something else). I miss Tourniquet, high density food without cooking. Forget the night vision. Even to get a Shitstorm: Lilly is a Pro - but this GHB bag is not a really good one. I dont understand the obession with digital watches and radiation.
Snacks allow you eat and still have maximum stealth.
nutrient survival has more nutritious ones, cost is more but worth it
@ParadisePrepper Looked them up on line, had many good reviews but they didn't have the food bars listed.
Great kits with valuable items !

I'm impressed !
Failing to plan = Planning to fail. It's called complacency.
Love these videos…but I’m not seeing a zombie locator in her equipment, like a gps zombie tracker to know where they are…😅😅
I was thinking about getting a Ruger 10-22 takedown for a bugout kit.
Very good Lilly ! Your survival sets are the best. (with little personal adjustment)

Btw these geiger counters will be useless for radioactive fallout, they're only designed for small levels of radiaton.
