By "freeing " the Zone, all of that energy is now in use across the world, which may mean it might never build up and cause an emission.
yeah, but the generators are the ones that created the emissions before, if they are still happening they probably can't reach too far (I'd imagine). In any scenario there's a lot left to interpretation, hopefully most/some of it will be covered in the DLCs 🤞
