Id say alastor has a healthy amount of cautious respect for Zestial. He knows hes strong, but also gives off a well-mannered and intelligent air; both qualities Alastor values highly. Also, something i havent seen anyone else mention, but Zestial mentioning the angels could purge "ALL of hell" holds more context then you might think. Velvette is talking about fighting back, even coming up with an attack plan; but shes acting like this is something that the overlords can deal with, while Zestial understands that the other rings would get pulled in. And dont forget, the overlords arent the top dogs. Acting rashly against the angels would certainly get the attention of the nobels or princes of hell.
Considering we currently have no Idea how exactly the exterminator was killed it could simply mean that the sins do not have ways to actualy deal with them and thus lose by default@@WaltDevil060

I’ve only seen the first 4 episodes but something about Respectless just scratches the right part of my brain and it’s the one that has been stuck in my head, out of all the amazing songs in this show
@@WeeLassReacts OMG SAME! I hear everyone else talking about Carmilla’s parts and I’m like yeah, gurl has the voice of a goddess but something about Velvette’s lines and delivery just GETS me every time

Zestial is such a cool character. I love his design and the old timey way he talks. And he's voiced by the same guy who plays Ozzie. Also, I was fully expecting all the overlords to be outright villains, but no, Carmilla doesn't actually seem bad at all. She's just controlling her turf and running a business like the other overlords and trying to protect her daughters. And she feels genuine guilt for causing the angels to move up the extermination. I love her character, too.
6:54 Zestial is the oldest overlord in hell, probably dying in the 1500s. alastor respects him and possibly fears him as well. While he is calm and calculating, you also have to be strong enough to survive that long.
Also it was said in the Pilot that when Alastor came to hell he killed the current overlords. So if Zestial is still here, and I don't think that he just became one after Alastors rampage, that he not just survived this but was "spared" bc he was just too strong. (It could also be the case that he didn't manifest himself back then, but I think that these two know eachother somewhat bc of their interaction. I think personally that Alastor did simply not go after him, bc he was smart enough to not make an enemy out of him)
@janicchi actually the pilot said that he 'began to tople overlords who have been dominant for centuries'. It never stated that he killed all of them. However, other than that, i agree with what you said.
@@janicchithey also seem to have a mutual respect. Even if Alistor was strong enough, he may have just found Zestial fun company. Though i do think Zestial is likely powerful as heck
So the Angel took a swing at her dughters and she went into MAMA-BEAR-MODE and protected them. Now, shes worried about what could happen to them if a war does break out.
Respectless is just SO GOOD. It's the Spanish guitar mixing with the new pop music, it's the voices, the rhymes, the context, the argument, it's such a good blend of the old musicals and the new jukebox musicals. Amazon is doing Disney songs better than Disney now lol
Carmine (Carmilla’s weapons company) was actually mentioned way back in Helluva Boss’s “The Harvest Moon Festival”. Moxxie refers to Striker’s gun as “a genuine Carmine-crafted, blessing-tipped rifle”. Also, I love Zestial in theory, but the fact that he misuses Early Modern English just bothers me. He can’t get the conjugation right half of the time, and even used “thy” instead of “thee” (saying “your” instead of “you”) once. Cheat sheet: Thou = You (Subject) Thee = You (Object) Thy = Your (when proceeding a word starting with a consonant) Thine = Your (when proceeding a word starting with a vowel) Hath = Has (specifically third-person) Hast = Have (specifically second-person)
@@KBRoller, I assumed it was just a play on "carbine", a style of long rifle with a short barrel (the most widely-known being the M4 Carbine). Interestingly enough, though, "carbyne" (pronounced the same way) is also actually a material; an allotrope of carbon that is roughly three times as hard as a diamond, though it would absolutely suck to make any part of a gun (except maybe the bullet tips) out of it due to its weight and fact that it would shear during use.
@@AriovrakYeah, carbine is what i heard first time watched the ep. Thought the gun kinda looked carbine too, so didnt give it much thought til rewatch and actually hearing Carmine

12:14 Okay so, I absolutely fell in love with this song but wondered why it sounded weirdly familiar. Then I saw people saying it gave them “SIX: The Musical” vibes. And I’ve listened to some songs from it before and yeah, I totally see where they’re coming from. I do kinda get those vibes too. Also the way Carmilla sings the lines “You and the Vs” and then “Smug wannabes” just sounds so good. I swear I’ve heard another song sung the same way where it goes up and then back down but I don’t remember what song it was Anyway “Respectless” is by far one of my favorite songs in this show so far. Another favorite I have is “Poison” 😍
This show is going to go down in history. This is what adult animation can be, heartfelt mature, entertaining, visually spectacular and most important it's message is powerful!❤❤❤
Based on the lore we have Vaggie was probably a member of a paramilitary kill squad in a South American country. She is one of the more recent to arrive in Hell in the Hotel. There may be a way should could be a Fallen Angel. She would have had to gone to heaven, been recruited into the Exterminators, and then disobeyed. This may have resulted in her being kicked downstairs. But as of right now we don't have anything concrete suggesting this is the path. It would be very interesting. Of note there was a line she had in the second episode has her talking to Charlie and she references the citizens of Hell as Charlie's people. While correct it is interesting how the phrasing may be suggesting she is not part of that crowd. Which would be in keeping with a Fallen Angel. But so far that seems to be the only real evidence outside of fans hoping for it.
@@alexrivers8163 I don't think she is a Fallen Angel. But I do see the reason many wish her to be. She is one of my favorite characters and with faves you are always wanting to seem them as special. I cannot exclude that Viv intends to reveal her as an angel. But I am not convinced of it yet.
I am inclined to believe that Vaggie is a converted Exterminator - a cross on her eye, a military bearing, an angelic weapon, but most importantly - her words to Charlie and her song. She speaks and reasons like a real angel, as they should be - guardians and protectors, guiding on the true path.
assuming they kept alastor's lore from the pilot about how he killed all the previous overlords back in the 1930's it means zestial is the only one who survived, which should give a hint about how powerful he is. would explain why akastor is cautious around him.
They let Velvette cook and she absolutely ate. Her and Carmilla were amazing and that's my current favorite song in this show. Alastor at the end was hilarious
At some point, I got the feeling that the confrontation between Carmila and Velvet reflects not only the conflict of generations (old versus new) but also the conflict between parents and children. In particular, in their song, Carmila chastises Velvet as a strict mother to a rebellious daughter. In any case, something like that slips between them. There is a feeling that Carmila will now say: “Go to your room, young lady!”)) And in the moments when they are shown together in the frame, their (family?) resemblance becomes visible. In any case, Velvet has the same eyes as Carmila and her daughters - red, with a white iris, which can be considered weak evidence of their family connection.
This episode has, for now, cemented Carmilla as seemingly my fav character outside our main cast. I was not going into the series thinking I'd love Carmilla Carmine so much, yet here we are^^ Now, another thing I have come across on Twitter is a theory that Vaggie is associated with Carmilla cause they paired them in a song and well, she is a weapons dealer that does sell things and profit from things used in wars and for other disputes/purposes. It will be interesting to see if the Fallen Angel/ex-exterminator theory and/or past association with Carmilla Carmine theory is proven canon at the end of the day.
8:15, more like crime bosses. Each Overlord is a master of their own specific trade or territorial region: Allister is a wandering deal maker with his shadow army. Carmella Carmine is the biggest weapon dealer in Hell. Rosy, the women with Allister's smile, runs the Canniblie Colony district. We don't know much about the other Overlords yet, but think of them more like Apex Predators, Heads of the Food Chain or Crime lords then anything else.
Carmilla, Zestial & Zilla (dinosaur demon) were debuted in the pilot episode. Carmilla opened the curtain, Zestial was seated behind her, beside him was Zilla's silhouette and all the way in the back was Lucifer. Carmilla's design in the pilot was very different from her current appearance
Respectless is not only a banger, but a great insight into how Velvet operates. She's so smart here, being outright uppity towards Carmilla at first, to throw her off her game. She targets Zestial specifically because she picks up that it pisses Carmilla off. You can cut Vel’s lines in pieces that display her playing the room. And when she sees Carmilla on edge, she goes for the throat. The switch between “You all don't compare to me” to “You fell for it, moron” is seamless. And it WORKS, Carmilla can’t deflect or rationalize, her last move is to book it while she can. Here’s the thing, Carmilla lost here. Vel put her in a lose-lose position. There was no point for Vel to go on, Carmilla cutting off the meeting was worse than a confession. All in all, this song does amazing character work for Vel. She’s an influencer, yes, but so far she is the most cunning and controlled V. She’s not just a fasionista, she’s a social genius. I swear I wanna learn video editing just to juxtapose this song with Vox’s miserable loss to Alastor with "Stayed Gone."
I swear I read this exact comment somewhere else and it wasn't posted by you!! Everyone copy and pasting comments these days, but yes Vel is defo an underrated character and I got more respect for what she did in this scene as I sat editing the video.
@@WeeLassReacts Velvet has great tactics, but the strategy side is lacking. The other overlords at the meeting are right that they shouldn't provoke Heaven without more information... That said, I think Velvet has a point she could have made that might have convinced the room: Heaven is going to blame the demons for the exorcist's death no matter what really happened. War will likely break out, so they should all prepare for it.
@@swordcrab3181 Agreed, she is clever, but also being very short sighted about things. More focused on 'winning' this exchange then on thinking what would be best in the long term for the coming war.
@@7Seraphem7 Yeah, especially since Vox was talking about getting Carmilla to help with his angel security project in the previous episode. I don't think Velvette pissing her off is going to make her more likely to help him.
Carmilla is too sweet. She only killed to protect her daughters and friend as well as the other sinners. She cares so much maybe not in the way charlie does but she cares.
Alastor: "That is for me to know, but please i like to hear the theories..." i guess.. that was kinda Viviziepop speaking to us, because she know her fans are made uo the craziest theories all the time and she probably laughing her ass of :P
2:38 Helluva Boss, Western Energy, "a genuine Carmine crafted blessing-tipped rifle!" Saw her in the Pilot. Opened her curtains at Charlie's fireworks, with Zestial in the bg sitting
my theory is if Carmilla Carmine didn't force the angel from killing itself by grabbing the angel and forcing it on it's own sword then because the angel was committing a sin (murder) it made the angel a demon witch can be killed by other demons or Carmilla rose because she was defending ones she loves
I think your theory doesn't stand because of one reason. The Exorcists are SUPPOSED to kill all Sinners they come across. To the Angels, they're just dealing with an overpopulation problem, even if Adam is doing it more for entertainment than anything, the Exocists are technically doing their jobs
@@Pridam their is 3 theorys in my 1st comment the 1st is carmilla forced the exorcist onto its own blade. My 2nd comment is based on murder is a sin according to God and Lucifer fell from heaven so in doing their job the exorcist have also fallen in a way that they are no different than anyone else in hell. My 3rd comment is according to god killing too defend the ones you love is a righteous act so camilla could have only killed the exorcist only when it was trying too kill the ones she cares for.
9:44 shows how Alastor is true to his nature. According to lore, Alastor was an infamous serial killer when he was alive. Most serial killers tend to kill out of need for attention, they love the thrill of it all. So for Camilla to brush him off was actually quite the hit to his ego.
I'm glad that somebody else kept that in mind. Many serial killers have a tendency to be egomaniacs. And even if he might not want to admit it out loud, Alastor and Vox are very similar in that they both crave attention. Zestial directly asked Alastor where he's been and what he's doing with Charlie, and this curiosity is what feeds the ego of people like Alastor. Him refusing to answer just lets the mystery build, this ensuring he has a place in people's minds. But when Carmilla expressed no desire to know where Alastor had been, it was the equivalent of tellin him he isn't important enough to think about.
I think Vaggie might actually be one of Carmilla's daughters. They both speak Spanish and they both have white hair and the same skin tone. This would also explain why she has an angelic spear since Carmilla is the main purveyor of angelic weapons. It's possible that Lucifer maybe even asked Carmilla to assign one of her daughters as a bodyguard for Charlie, which could be how they met.
AND the fact that they had a duet together! The show doesn’t pair two characters singing together without some intrinsic connection! (Albeit could just be their situations, both doing whatever it takes for their loved ones BUT it does lend some credibility that they are related plus all the things you mentioned)
@@the_dropbear4392Maybe Vaggie never got the chance to meet them, or they simply didn't recognize her IF Carmilla never told either of her daughters about Vaggie or showed them pictures of their sister
I just love Velvet's voice, it just has a big ol' sassy black mama vibe to it and I'm so down for it, how she hits that vibe in Respectless is AMAZING!
Allister was a shock jock back in the US South back in the 1940`s or 50`s. He was a serial killer and ALREADY a cannabile. That's the reason he resembles a Wendigo I think. Also, it could be irony: he died because he was ACCEDENTLY shot by a deer hunter when burying his "leftovers".
Angels aren’t exterminating demons and sinners because of overpopulation. In the beginning of the first episode, during charlie’s narration, she says that heaven is just afraid of hell rising up against them. And one of the lines in Adam’s song, Hell is Forever, is “For those of us with divine ordainment, extermination is entertainment”. So at this point, it’s not even about hell rising up against heaven. It’s just fun for them
I find it interesting that each of the V's seem to be paired off agaisnt specific other people. Vox vs Alastor(TV vs Radio), Now velvette vs Carmilla(new vs old) and Valentino vs ??? charlie maybe? (Abuse vs kindness)
You're the first person I've watched who compared Zestial's voice effect to HIM and now I can't unhear it lol. It's funny, when I first watched this episode I enjoyed it, but it didn't grip me as much as the others for some reason. But upon rewatched I enjoyed it a lot more and it's my 2nd favourite episode now. Fantastic songs, fantastic reveals, some character development for the hotel residents, and some of the best Niffty moments so far Edit: I just noticed your mug's design and I love it so much
She didn't look tall because everyone else was sitting, so I didn't notice? Zesty I got to see standing side by side with Alastor, a character I know really well.
They CAN'T keep this quiet. Velvet is a loud mouth with her finger in every social media account in Hell. The Vs are reckless, and Vox would accredit the angel's death to a prototype of his security system to gain more influence. What Carmilla has to realize is that if she stands up and goes to war, her loved ones might die, but doing nothing will ensure that everyone dies. It's the same shit I was screaming when Eda Clawthorne didn’t want to fight against Belos. Edit: Mosco, Hell ISN'T overpopulated. That's just the excuse the angels use to prop up their quelling of dissent.
You give me the feeling of an anime character I have been waiting for but didn’t realize… I love your accent and your style (hair) you’re quite awesome lol
I say Vox is more of the backbone for the Vees because it’s his technology where Velvet and Val’s platforms are. It’s like Velvet being the master of social media and Val of nsfw content the main platform for both of them is Vox with the internet and technology.
Carmilla singing about protecting her children always makes me cry. Idk why, but I love dramatic/tear jerking scenes, such as the loss or protection of a loved one, so I like to imagine the scene of killing the angel. In my mind, Carmilla's daughters were out doing something, and when the extermination started they ran home, but an angel charged them. Carmilla saw, and I like to imagine the seer panic that took over in that moment, and she knew that she had to protect her children at any cost
One other thing that makes the fact Carmilla killed the Exorcist is that she knows just how hard it is to kill one of them, so by making her the one that killed it means that they can leave that question of just how hard it was a mystery. Plus with the way she acts and sings, it feels like she doesn't want the info that they are killable getting out because then demons will try only to fail because of just how hard it is.
i have a small theory that zestiel is the demon of rumors and secrets , since hes all about wanting to know things and having tactfull caution and his voice is followed by whispers

12:04 Lilith is indeed a Sinner Demon, unlike Lucifer who’s a Fallen Angel. As it was said in EP1 and written within the Jewish Bible, Adam and Lilith were the first humans God created. She was punished for refusing to be subservient to Adam, she believed that because Adam and herself were both made by the same material, they should be seen as equal. (Personal note: She was completely right, God and Adam were just assholes.) So for refusing to be submissive to Adam, God sent Lilith to Hell and would forever be known as The Mother of Demon. While God then created Eve by using one of Adam’s ribs and making her subservient to Adam. Eve would then become The Mother of Humans.
xD You said Vaggie does everything for Charlie, and you're so right. When Charlie asked her to jump, Vaggie asked "How high!?" Too bad she didn't ask about when... >x3 They're so cute, though.
At the moment my headcannon is Vaggie was Charlie's bodyguard and they fell in love. Also I'm wondering If Alistor is actually watching over Charlie as a favor to Lillith. I'll admit Velvette has a point but she's too reckless and way too disrespectful to the other overlords. Being obnoxious is not the flex she seems to think it is.
I do love how well they showed both that Velvet is a lot smarter then you'd think, she's cunning, shrewd, and amazing at reading and manipulating people. But at the same time she is also short sighted and impulsive and not quite as smart as she thinks she is.
The most hilarious thing to me from this episode was when I watched this episode Amazon had it say that Zestial was voiced by Jason Statham and I was like WTF no way since when can Jason Statham sing and has he even ever done an animated show before so I went to Google and the actual voice actor is James Monroe Iglehart and I was like how could Amazon make a mistake like this 😂😂
I like to think that Carmilla was able to kill the Execution angel because striking down someone out of pure love for who you're protecting is a righteous virtue, and that was stronger than the self-righteous light of the angels.
Pay special attention to the way that Alastor responded when Zestial directly inquired where he had been for the last 7 years, and what he's doing hanging around Charlie. Alastor was coy and refused to answer, but specifically said that he would love to hear what the rumors are about his goings on and what people are saying. But when Carmilla noticed that he had returned from this unexplained 7-year disappearance, Alastor tried to create some intrigue around his absence, but Carmilla treated him like his sudden showing up was not important enough for conversation, and you can tell this annoyed him. These instances display that Alastor wants to be on people's minds and that he likes to have this air of mystery about himself. He doesn't show it so nakedly, but Alastor is an attention seeker.
My little theory about how carmine was able to kill an exterminator/angel when no demon is said to have ever been able to, is because she acted out of love for her children at the time. Maybe strong positive emotions such as love or selflessness are necessary to combat the angelic forces. Rare resources in hell indeed.
i see no one talking about this so ill say it here striker in helluvaboss had "Carmine-Crafted Blessing-Tipped Rifles" which could mean he bought (or stole) those weapons from Camilla Carmine
I have a theory that at one point Viv planned for Vaggie to be revealed as one of Carmilla's daughters, a storyline that was dropped in favor of a different backstory now obviously, but paying respect to that cut content is why they have this duet and later interaction I'm honestly kinda hoping they'll get more scenes together in season 2 and maybe even develop a sort of adoptive mother-child bond
Something I don't see enough people talking about, and that I didn't realise myself on my first watch, Velvette wasn't JUST bragging in Respectless. She was being very calculated, trying to make Carmilla lose her composure and slip up about killing the angel. Both of which she succeeded in. Zestial and Alastor picked up on it and there's a chance some of the other overlords did too. She really wasn't kidding when she called herself "the backbone of the Vees". After all Vox got publically embarrassed by Alastor, after trying to do the same to him and Valentino flies off the handle the moment things don't go exactly how he wants. Edit: Also wanted to mention how she immediately knew to back off Zestial when he gave a calm and rational response. She realised her tactics wouldn't work on him. Same with the other overlord that didn't even respond to her.
In French we already had a Charlie X Vaggie song call « L’enfer est bon » (« hell is great »), who is a Cover of a French song with different words for talk about hell
I posted it on Elijah's video, and I'll post it again here: I think that Vaggie is one of Carmilla's daughters. The similarity in hair and skin colors, plus the fact that both speak Spanish seems too many similarities to be a coincidence. Plus, it would explain how Vaggie got an angelic spear. Carmilla gave it to Vaggie to defend herself when Vaggie decided to strike out on her own.
Before this episode, i was for Vaggie being a fallen angel, but now, i think shes possibly one of Camilla's daughters. Theres a glaive in Camilla's office that's very similar to Vaggie's spear and being brought up with a war-profiteer explains Vaggie's experience in military combat and knowledge of "brothers in arms" as it where
Zestial is the oldest Overlord, and potentially even the oldest sinner in general. Man has pretty much been around since before even the very bloodlines of the other Overlords was even a thought in their progenitor's mind. Bro is ANCIENT Ancient, and considering that these purges have seemingly been happening for centuries at least, man didn't make it as long as he has by being an idiot. Dude knows his way around this world he's living in, and is likely the most knowledgeable person we know not named Lucifer Morningstar. So yeah. Dude is worthy of respect from pretty much everyone. Unless your name is Velvet, and you have a chip on your shoulder the size of Hell itself, and an attitude that'll make all of the Wrath Ring shudder. Respectless is my favorite song in the series so far. How can it not be, with a bad bitch like her at the helm?😂
Well I highly doubt hes the oldest. Maybe he's medieval. From the way he's talking idk. Probably a few thousand years old. The oldest would be like cain or the grandchildren of Adam. Would be cool if cain made an appearance
The song “Whatever it takes”, for me at least, lends even more credence to the theory that Vaggie is a former angelic exterminator. I’m starting to see what could be her backstory unfold in my mind. A being that spent her immortal life killing because “Heaven is good, and Hell is bad” or “Sinners are wicked and deserve damnation”. Then one day she sees Charlie, a being born in Hell, someone that should be beyond evil, showing more compassion and empathy than ANY “Heavenly” being ever has. Including her. Making her feel like “A stranger in a brand new place…” which sounds like she realized that Hell wasn’t just a cage for the worst of the worst, it was a place where souls were actually living. Just like Heaven, except rougher around the edges. Certainly not a place worthy of yearly Genocide. So now, instead of being a sword for a higher power, she becomes the shield or “Armor” for the person that, to her, represents Hope. I am a bit concerned that Charlie might not know this. Lines like “There’s so much I wish that I could say….” Make me think that Vaggie disguised herself as a Sinner to get close to Charlie which could cause some drama down the line. I highly doubt that a person like Charlie wouldn’t forgive Vaggie for this. They love each other, and forgiveness/acceptance is kind of her thing. Unfortunately, it’s very possible that Heaven’s exterminators are under some kind of control, and beings like Adam could force Vaggie to fight against Charlie and the forces of Hell which would be a HORRIBLE way for Charlie to learn the truth and break both of their hearts. 😢

I agree. It scratched my brain somehow at the right part and now it does not stop to itch.

There are also (supposedly) silhouettes of Zilla and Lucifer in that scene

Zestial is such a cool character. I love his design and the old timey way he talks. And he's voiced by the same guy who plays Ozzie. Also, I was fully expecting all the overlords to be outright villains, but no, Carmilla doesn't actually seem bad at all. She's just controlling her turf and running a business like the other overlords and trying to protect her daughters. And she feels genuine guilt for causing the angels to move up the extermination. I love her character, too.
Honestly, I'd love a Godfather-style mob story spinoff series about all the Overlords. They're all so fascinating.
I thought I heard Ozzie in his voice! Glad to know I wasn't imagining it!
Hello again 👹
Thanks for the super Dan! And yes, very excellent points
6:54 Zestial is the oldest overlord in hell, probably dying in the 1500s. alastor respects him and possibly fears him as well. While he is calm and calculating, you also have to be strong enough to survive that long.
Zestial gives me dark sorcerer vibes and honestly, I am all in for that theory if it's actually true

Zestials design, air filled voice and over all ambience is very pleasing
Cheat sheet:
Thou = You (Subject)
Thee = You (Object)
Thy = Your (when proceeding a word starting with a consonant)
Thine = Your (when proceeding a word starting with a vowel)
Hath = Has (specifically third-person)
Hast = Have (specifically second-person)
Which is really interesting, because at the time I assumed "carmine" was a material.
Thought the gun kinda looked carbine too, so didnt give it much thought til rewatch and actually hearing Carmine
carmine herself was in the hazbin pilot. Shes the one who opens the curtains as the fireworks go off in the opening song edit: zestial appears with her
I didn't even think about that, but holy shit man, I love little moments like that connecting the shows and reaffirming that it's the same Hell.
I love Zestial vocabulary and he's way of thinking about things while also being a big supporter and showing strength

Okay so, I absolutely fell in love with this song but wondered why it sounded weirdly familiar.
I swear I’ve heard another song sung the same way where it goes up and then back down but I don’t remember what song it was
Anyway “Respectless” is by far one of my favorite songs in this show so far. Another favorite I have is “Poison” 😍
NO WAY Ive been saying it gives Six Vibes :OO other people think so too?? I literally looked up if the voice actor had been in six whahah

If she was a fallen angel Lucifer probably would know her, but he is going to be introduced to her in an episode coming up from the teasers we've seen
Plot twist. It's all a test for Charlie LOL
There is a feeling that Carmila will now say: “Go to your room, young lady!”))
And in the moments when they are shown together in the frame, their (family?) resemblance becomes visible. In any case, Velvet has the same eyes as Carmila and her daughters - red, with a white iris, which can be considered weak evidence of their family connection.
Zestial is my favorite overlord.
His design is SICK
16:54No ones talking about how amazing Camillas voice was
This episode has, for now, cemented Carmilla as seemingly my fav character outside our main cast.
She's great, a bad guy that isn't a bad guy
I cried so much... how are u not in tears?? Such great voices!!!
I love this episode so much, rewatched it like 5 times and that’s not even counting reactions

Me: I’m sorry is Shakespeare in the park?

It makes me wonder why she's in Hell.
Maybe for the same reason? Like something happened while she was alive and killed someone to kill/defend her loved ones.

my theory is if Carmilla Carmine didn't force the angel from killing itself by grabbing the angel and forcing it on it's own sword then because the angel was committing a sin (murder) it made the angel a demon witch can be killed by other demons or Carmilla rose because she was defending ones she loves
IF that was the case then why did neither she nor her sisters say anything or even react to each other when they came to the hotel
That's MY theory too you guys think that too

I say Vox is more of the backbone for the Vees because it’s his technology where Velvet and Val’s platforms are. It’s like Velvet being the master of social media and Val of nsfw content the main platform for both of them is Vox with the internet and technology.
I agree. I think that Vox is definitely the most integral of the three, with Velvette being the second.
I've never been into musicals but this series slaps and may just make a convert of me.
Beware of the next episode...it will trigger a LOT of emotions
Imagine a trio of Vox, Velvet and Alister: TV, SOCIAL MEDIA AND RADIO!
i have a small theory that zestiel is the demon of rumors and secrets , since hes all about wanting to know things and having tactfull caution and his voice is followed by whispers

Lilith is indeed a Sinner Demon, unlike Lucifer who’s a Fallen Angel.
As it was said in EP1 and written within the Jewish Bible,
Adam and Lilith were the first humans God created. She was punished for refusing to be subservient to Adam, she believed that because Adam and herself were both made by the same material, they should be seen as equal.
(Personal note: She was completely right, God and Adam were just assholes.)
So for refusing to be submissive to Adam, God sent Lilith to Hell and would forever be known as
The Mother of Demon.
While God then created Eve by using one of Adam’s ribs and making her subservient to Adam.
Eve would then become
The Mother of Humans.

11:25, Big Z spitting. They don't know how this Angle DIED! So even if they can BE killed they don't know HOW to do it.
I believe the word you were looking for to describe the way Alastor and Zestial treat each other is "CORDIAL"

4:18 sounds like me whenever I see a cat-
Alastor has ruined me 😂🙃 every I go "hhmm" I immediately remember the reel with the cars on the race track 😂
I read a theory recently that Zestial might have been one of the overlords around when Alastor first began toppling the old overlords
Rare resources in hell indeed.
i see no one talking about this so ill say it here
striker in helluvaboss had "Carmine-Crafted Blessing-Tipped Rifles"
which could mean he bought (or stole) those weapons from Camilla Carmine
I have a theory that at one point Viv planned for Vaggie to be revealed as one of Carmilla's daughters, a storyline that was dropped in favor of a different backstory now obviously, but paying respect to that cut content is why they have this duet and later interaction
I'm honestly kinda hoping they'll get more scenes together in season 2 and maybe even develop a sort of adoptive mother-child bond
You say "youse" to address a group! I didn't know that was a thing outside of Pennsylvania and Chicago...
It makes sense when you realise Camillas company makes weapons capable of killing some of the most powerful demons in hell.
In French we already had a Charlie X Vaggie song call « L’enfer est bon » (« hell is great »), who is a Cover of a French song with different words for talk about hell
With that title, I'm kind of disappointed we didn't get a clip of Mosco simping for Carmilla.
It's ok... I can wait until episode 7 😏
A bit off topic here: I just wanted to say, I love your "Teas of the Kingdom" mug. I must know where u got it please.
Before this episode, i was for Vaggie being a fallen angel, but now, i think shes possibly one of Camilla's daughters. Theres a glaive in Camilla's office that's very similar to Vaggie's spear and being brought up with a war-profiteer explains Vaggie's experience in military combat and knowledge of "brothers in arms" as it where
I like how you love Velvette's voice for the same reason I absolutely hate it xD
Vaggy does actually compliment Charlie really really well
Zestial is the oldest Overlord, and potentially even the oldest sinner in general.
Well, if the lore doesn't change much, Vaggie actually comes from the savior, so yes, she is a sinner, as well as a demon kind moth, like Valentino
bit late on catching up here, but I believe Carmilla Carmine provided Striker with his angelic weapon in Helluva Boss. Makes sense she could kill an angel, if she has angelic weapons to sell, she sure as hell kept some for herself
