Fun fact that the car was intended to be the new Volvo S40 and it looks like having old SAAB-dna when it comes to exterior design, you have made me wanna buy this thing 😂

I agree on the SAAB genes! The even more fun fact is that the Polestar 2 looks a lot more like a Ford Mustang Fastback than the Mach-Es will ever do 😄

Great video Kris! You have the same mindset as me. I would also go for a LRDM with 19", leather and skip the Performance pack. However I would add the performance upgrade to get that maximum power as the Performance version has. That is something I think you forgot to mention in your video so I'll add it for you here in my comment. // Henning 😎👍

Another comment from me would be that setting the Öhlins dampers to their softest settings (20-22) the Performance car feels almost as soft as a car with a standard suspension. And then it is basically only the 20" wheels that makes the car stiffer with more road noise. There are some crazy people who have managed to fit 19" aftermarket wheels over those gold Brembo calipers, and even if that is not recommended, it could potentially be the perfect Polestar 2 car. Having the Performance pack........but benefit from the 19" wheel comfort. Should we find a friend within your fanbase and set up a test with this type of car just to see what your experience will be? That could be a viral clip I'm sure. 😎👍

In the U.K. the upgraded polestar leather is more expensive than the leather pack for a Porsche

      That’s actually crazy!

@@KrisRifa Yes it’s a separate topic but I have been looking at Polestar 3 vs Porsche Macan 4 and if you spec a Macan with leather and air suspension and HUD, those upgrades are actually reasonably priced. With a polestar 3 the leather upgrade is almost twice as expensive as an upgrade. While the P3 is now offering single motor, that doesn’t have air suspension so it’s a downgrade for not much of a saving. Any way you look at it, I think the Macan is a bit cheaper fully spec (without going nuts on the options) which is interesting.

It needs extending for more rear leg room and a new dash layout so it gets more knee room one of the biggest complaints, thr pack size is now better with the motor change it’s a real good drive but it just hasn’t aged well

Does the ID.7 also belong to this price segment? And what else cars do belong to this segment? A complete comparison would be super interesting!

It also feels cramped compared to the Tesla in my opinion.

Probably yes. I haven’t driven the M3 many times. But for sure the PS2 is more “driver oriented”. Whether that’s something you like or not is very personal.
