Chemtool should be paying for the evacuees with a decent hotel room with food, prescriptions and other needs.
The County Commissioners need to stand up for the evacuees and get these people out of evacuation centers and into a place with privacy and all.
Also, Animal shelters should be made available by Chemtool.

Warren Buffet's holding company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns Lubrizol and Lubrizol owns Chemtool. So I would think there would be money available to do this.

There has been no immediate release of toxins into the Rock River at this point in time, but that plume of smoke went up into the atmosphere and those toxins will eventually come down as rain and over a much larger area than just the city of Rockton. And Rockton is supposed to get scattered thunderstorms on Sunday. How are they going to handle run off on Sunday?

2:55 It's good they layed out booms, but what about when it rains? There is tons of material spread out on the ground over the plume area which aligns with the Rock & Pecatonica rivers. How can that hazard be mitigated? Also, If the buildings were separated from each other instead of being all interconnected, this disaster would have been much easier to control. Shipping in one building, manufacturing in another, stock in another, etc.... Just a thought.

They are just really lucky that the wind carried the smoke plume south and not east into Chicago and over Lake Michigan.

In regards to DNP Martel she is not a medical doctor……. Not an MD ….. she is a nurse practitioner….. although maybe it is not intended to it is misleading the public she is not a medical doctor . In a clinical setting her name tag would be DNP.

She could be an NP and a doctor in something also. You know, how they call Jill Biden a doctor even though it’s just in education.

      Oh god nurse practitioner 🙄
      I just moved, and
I accidentally went to NP recently, and was told she was a doctor by the receptionist when I called for an appointment with a Doctor!
The NP Misdiagnosed me, with a barbaric medical exam, and the prescription she prescribed exasperated my condition.
I'd never go near a NP ever again, and you know what they say about nurses: They weren't Smart Enough to be Doctors!!!
Found an excellent family physician, in there less then 10 minutes with a Normal exam, test, diagnoses, & prescription that Cured me.
      God I Hate nurse practitioners!
Sorry folks triggered this was an extremely bad situation.
      Blessings to Rockton though🙏💝🙏

The question wasn't if the foam was fluorinated specifically, (the 4 massive AC unit's released their CFC's into the flames on the first day, highly toxic byproducts produced) She asked about if it contained Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances PFAS, PFOS, components. What do you mean they didn't give you the MSDS yet? That is the first thing you do, make sure you aren't making the pollution impact worse. Nice deflection Captain.

I’m about 60 miles south and we have fire crews there also.

These people are not going to be fully transparent with you. Don’t accept blanket statements on safety. Let’s get real and be honest. The results of this sabotage on your community has already affected your water table. They killed off your city. Nobody makes these kinds of critical mistakes by accident.

Oh, I don't know. People do stupid things all the time and there has been a general dumbing down of people in the US for the last 30 or 40 years. And let's face it, all the safety precautions in the world do not replace the ongoing necessity of having common sense and consideration for the safety of your fellow employees.

No mask recommendation? I mean if they work for teeny tiny virus aerosol and droplets, you'd think they would help filter debris particles in air. So one would inhale a smaller amount of toxins.

@@nikkijack911 I guess not. But, better consider filtering your water… double, triple filtering.

@@nikkijack911 yesterday they said you had to wear masks. The useless ones now that don't even stop a virus. I googled the chemicals, and you guys need Respiratory Masks, good ones like painter's or people working with very toxic fumes.
This all makes me so sick because this Asshole on TV & his buddies are lieing to you!!!!!!!

They said if you find any debris in your yard DONT TOUCH IT!!!!!!!
Forgot who they said to call, BUT DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING THAT LANDS IN YOUR YARD!!!!!
And I know a guy who works there and he said it was a "3rd party" hired worker that ran into a barrel, an "accident".
      Ya right 🙄
