Although I substituted a few things for what I had in my kitchen like sausage instead of beef, light soy sauce instead of dark soy sauce and I added ginger. Made this tonight, and it was really good. Thank you, The only change I made was using Oyster Sauce instead of dark soy. I can't find dark soy anywhere around here at our local grocery stores. I may need to go to an Asian grocery store. When you fried the pork, it took on a dark, rich color and cooked quickly. When I fried the pork a lot of fluid came out, and the pork didn't brown as nicely as yours did. It was pale. I used thick cut boneless pork chops that has a nice strip of fat along the edges. I don't know why it didn't fry nicely like yours. Still really good.
my thoughts exactly, it may taste nice but most people do not like their food overcrowded . I would take away the eggs, and use either beef or chicken, but thats just me
Thanks mama. Please did you add salt to the rice while cooking? And is the rice properly cook..as per the one you eat with stew. And why do you have to cook the rice?
