DJ Marvin Prince launched the career of Canadian reggae sensation SNOW. In 1989, while Snow was in jail on two attempted murder charges, DJ Prince went to New York with unwavering determination to seek a record deal for both of them. In 1991, when Snow was released, DJ Prince invited him to come to New York and meet Hip Hop legend M.C. Shan. From that moment, history was made. But, unfortunately, fame and money would change their relationship. DJ Prince would end up suing SNOW for $500,000 but would be unanimously rewarded by the jury three times that to the amount of 1.5 million, a reward he would never see. This is a story about how Snow, a professed criminal, exploited the only person that believed in him.

dude wtf, Marvin Prince built this dude's career and hooked him up with important people in the industry, then he rips him off and his career goes completely downfall afterwards... dude had a great talent but you can't work with someone that'll rip u off when he gets the slightest chance. he ripped off his producer and then his career was gone in a few years.

as unfair as it is/seems and as rare as it is a judge CAN overrule a jury verdict. It is not illegal just extremely rare. Still though when this happens you can't not think something fishy was going on politically. I do feel for Marvin on that one.

I always wondered how Snow rose so fast. Of course he had help that he didn't credit. Snow fell as fast as he rose. That was his karma. Big up Marvin Prince.
Marvin Prince deserves his just due, but I'm dying to find out why Snow did this to him. Revenge is a dish best served cold.
Then you read the other thousand comments on other clips saying Snow is a humble down to earth nice guy...far from it. He screwed Marvin Prince because he thought he would make it big and look at Snow for the last 30 years, a nobody.

Me thinks it's sort of a pop-hiphop beat, with some dubby parts in it and a singjay sort of speedy vocal on top. I tend to believe Marvin his story, but I don't know what happened. I hope that everything will be settled and everybody involved gets their fair share in the end.

Mr Dj Marvin, I have a curious question as i dont know how the industry works. When you guys were together and during the peak, did you make any money from your success? even a little bit to make you partially wealthy, or did he run away with all/most of it? kind regards
I made no money from my involvement with Snow or the album, I only received four tour T-Shirts, there is more details about it in the documentary, the success i achieved was from other projects unrelated to Snow.

Snows just a biter, he stole Jamaican patois, tried to be a dancehall don, used a real Jamaican to produce him hits then cut him out of the story, snows a chump
