I use Neural DSP mainly for my lead tone with Eventide Harmonizer, delay and other goodies on. Until now. Purchased the Trivium Lead, put it in the mix for a metal project and that was it. Jens is a genius.
@@mikehunt576 I do have an arsenal of plugins which is more than enough for anyone. But these plugins are drop in and play. I’m not endorsed. I’m not rich. But this works.
These amp sims are insanely good! I also have their BDH Ampknob bundle. I can't believe how perfect it sounds without having to mess with settings and such like you do most amp sims.
This is one of the best plugin bundles I've ever played! Sounds incredible and is so good out of the box that it takes away all the option paralysis that I feel can be encountered with other plugins. Just great sounds across the board. More time for writing/playing!
Couldn't believe when I saw my favorite producer teaming up with one of my favorite bands (especially since the two haven't worked together previously to my knowledge). Trivium should have Jens produce the next album!
Even though I am not looking to buy anything I always appreciate when people try their own ideas and their own takes with stuff. Bogren Digital is doing the plugin thing different by limiting the user so that the user spends less time dialing in the sound and more time playing / mixing. Limiting ourselves can lead to better results sometimes especially when we are tweaking microphones on a cab that we don`t really know what to listen for. Good job guys.
Man I've been using Neural's Darkglass for years as my absolute go-to bass plugin for literally everything, but the Trivium Bassknob sounds absolutely fantastic - such a killer sounding growl that really cuts through a dense mix. It's been years since I've purchased another bass plugin but I'm definitely throwing money at this one. Great stuff as always!
So nice. I love Trivium since I heared ascendancy for the first time. Their music is a part of my live since...like forever? I am so glad they keep beeing cool and down to earth. Cheers to you guys! PS: Thanks for the video, but I would love to hear more Amp and less talking... 😂
That’s an absolute amazing package! You should put one together including drums and maybe even a recording program. All in one, mix-ready to go. Completely idiot proof for guys like me! Again nice job on the ampknobs 👏
I'm having a hard time finding anything to compete with the Neural DSP: Gojira plugin but this might be it! The fact that these three were made to compliment each other is massive and I don't have to figure out a bass tone anymore for my demos! Already use the Krimh Drums, this is just perfect now!
I’m a bit late to the party, but I have to join in after testing the trial version. These are just really great plugins. And how good is the clean channel on the Trivium Rhythm Ampknob?? I plug in my Telecaster, and it just sparkles… Huge thanks to Jens and the team!!!
Hi, is it somehow possible to use ampknobs for live performance? And is there a way how to switch among them during the show? For example REVC for rhytm and trivium lead for leads? Thank you 🙂
Yes, you can use it in standalone mode if you’re not switching presets. For changing plugins and effects, you can automate them in your preferred DAW. Cheers!
Awesome work as usual! But how about making a Bass sampler? Since Jens mentioned in the video the care you need for new strings etc. A Borgen Digital Bass VST that works in combination with the Bassknobs would be awesome since more and more guitar players are programing bass nowadays.
Jens if you made a preset for full krimh drums to play nice with these tones it's gotta be an instant buy for a lot of us just wanting to write some cool metal.
@@Bogren.Digital Christmas in July my dude! I was wondering if you would ever have a "tuning" setting on the amp knob stuff to accommodate for the flab that shows up on lower tuned guitars and extended range guitars. I know I don't use the same tone for e as I do b or f!
@Bogren.Digital Thank you! I'm most definitely considering it just because of the simplicity. I like the fact that it's engage and play. I don't want to waste all my time on turning, twisting, adding and subtracting only to say "nope! Not good enough". It won't ever be good enough for me! And it really does sound great! I don't know how popular this type of thing is, but I imagine that they will be a lot more of these coming in the future. May already be, I don't know, I'm a "newb" I think is what the youngsters are calling it this day and time.
Love Bogren Products. I would love a rock beat in the metronome as a choice. Straight 4/4 kick, snare and highhat. That tick tock sound drives me crazy. I would rather hear the beat. Hahahahaha!
I write music and have bought allmost all previous amp knobs from Bogren.. They really matter as you get inspiring sound immediately. Damn... Take my money.. .. Again 😂
It’s a little annoying that the mono/stereo settings, gate level, reverb, cabinet selection, etc. need to be configured through an additional menu. These options without additional menus would not take up much space on the interface, which is 80% just a useless picture.
Maybe it would be an idea to fit all that into a second “page”, like the fx on the lead knob. The prime focus is to spend less time tweaking. I really don’t wanna clutter the main interface for this line of plugins.
@@jensbogren4943 I understand that one of the goals is interface minimalism. Then you can make an “advanced mode” button on the main page, when all possible settings will appear before your eyes - minimum beauty, maximum speed. I think this option would be optimal. The autogainmatch function is also seriously lacking. When you turn on the drive on bass amps, for example, the volume increases significantly relative to the clean channel, so you constantly have to compensate. Well, or not the autogainmatch function, but at least the ability to quickly switch between pre-matched snapshots (in “advanced mode”). During mixing, this would greatly help in automating channel changes.

Thanks, Raphael! To anyone else, check out @kamalaofficial
The Ampknobs in the bundle are versatile, crushing, and solid as a rock! Thank you, Bogren Digital!
they are ripp offs of the Howard Benson, only more limited
Good for you@@OfficialFatLip

Bought the bundle when it came out! Awesome stuff!

With the Lead Knob, would be great if you could disable the amp & cab to be able to use only the effects on a separate send. Maybe future update?

Will you add delay and reverb to the MLC S Zero 100 to ? That would be awesome 😎
There's already a delay and a reverb in the MLC Subzero 100 plugin, wdym ?

No transpose option?
Which is better bassknob or bassknob trivium?
A bit of a different flavor. We recommend grabbing a free trial to see which one you prefer.

Hi, what lavalier mic is used here, sounds very good
It's an Audio-Technica but it requires a lot of EQ to get to this stage. :) We've actually been looking at alternatives.
how's the pinched harmonics in there?
Signature Artist AmpKnob Bundles - the next big thing.

How does this work as far as buying this? Is it something you own or do you more or less, rent them?

idk why but the plugin sounds kinda muddy in my daw. Any advice, cause I can just fix it with eq, but I want it to sound nice off rip you know

I would say the same as on the Englund video, really interested but there is almost nothing about the bass sound !

make drum vst with tons of fills and call it the shattering package (from their song shattering the skies above!)
ull thank me later!
Trivium Drums are around the corner :D
There are so many knobs ... it's so confusing 😂
If you close one eye, you will see just half of the knobs. No, wait. That's not how it works...
They are too loud, have too much bass, but amazing after EQ!
I’d say they fit well knowing what kind of master bus tweaks that generally are applied. And they need to feel jam-friendly, too.
