Restoration Rusty Asian Dagger

- Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new restoration project. I found this Asian dagger at a flea market. And I decided to restore the knife and scabbard too. Well, time to restore it.
As usual, I used rust remover liquid, then I used iron wire brush and starting to sanding. For handle I chose deer horn and brass. For the bolster of the knife, I used brass. Also, I also added a drawing using surface engraving on bolster.
Wood scabbard took a long time to restore. First, I used the blade to clean it, then I sanded it and used glue to primers. For scabbard surface, I used thin leather and made brass accessories for the scabbard. Also, I added a small suspension to their skin so that they could be worn on a belt. I hope, you will enjoy this restoration project. Thank you all for attention!
Sincerely, Alex. Thanks for attention!
Good luck and health to everyone! With best wishes, Alex!

One thing I admire is that you don't use an absurd amount of rust solution (vinegar?) in your videos. Sooo many guys use 10x more than they need and it kills me inside. You use just enough to cover the item and I love it.
I guess it's ferrochloric acid
Its because his stuff is not rusty enough))).
The beauty of that rust remover is its reusable, i have used it multiple times with great success. Great video as always
@@rchuyck and whats is it?
This is what I use, Evapo-Rust ER012 Super Safe Rust Remover
I think I've seen similar knives. The handle is usually wood with some shiny pins. The one you made for it is better. The sheath you made looks awesome. Turned a ☹️knife into a 🙂knife. 👏
Your reimaginings always compelling
& often comedically lightening...
Dziękuję Ci
Love that most of you projects end up in aiding you cooking a delicious meal hahahaha!

😊😊😊
You Sir, are a Craftsman Extraordinaire
Thank you!

Deserves lots of likes 👏
I love your work! You restored the sheath as well as the blade. And nice cup of tea and snack to finish with. c
Hello! Thakn you for attention and feedback!
My friend I have been following your you tube journey for some time. This isn't just a simple restoration. This is a creation. Everything from the handle work to wooden sheath along with the thoughtful sense to add a belt loop for outdoor use. I enjoyed it so much I watched it twice in a row.
Glad to read! Thank you so much!
Lovely job really nice. Stay healthy till next time my friend 👍👍👍😊😊😊♥️
Nice restoration, Screws. Have a nice holiday and year's end.

So much work and a great payoff. Love the antler handle.
Yeah, it's been a good vlog for you. Nice work.
Thank you for attemtio! ^_^
An Asian Bowie knife. I love it. Want it.
Thank you, you are becoming a full artist.
Gracias felicitaciones y siempre adelante
You are a true artists
Awesome informational educational video experience Y'alls God Bless Y'alls 🙌 ❤ 🙏
But seriously the knife looks good.
Zkus to ještě víc vyleštit !!!!!!!!! Až potom
Realy interesting And beautiful work MANSHIP.
Beautiful...Nicely Done!!
beautifull as always and love the beep beep ane other sound fx 😃
lets appreciate the point that he is hurt but still he is making videos for us
This is simply outstanding! You're an artist, my friend!
This is a beautiful piece. I loved the antler handle. I would have loved if you would have found a brass or copper coin to use as a butt plate to cap off the end of the antler handle, but it was perfect regardless. Love your skill and your humor.
Greetings! Yes, I remember this knife, it's still with me. Thank you for your interest! Feedback is very important to me.

Muy bueno !!! Bonita restauración 👌👍🇪🇸
Another fantastic restore.👍👍👍
nice work on that one, it obviously has some history, old fighting knife that has had a hard life
Wow! That one was especially elaborate! It was kind of like watching a mystery in parts, because I couldn't figure out what you were doing. Anyway, beautiful-beautiful!
It was a difficult restoration, for example, when I glued the handle, I moved to the scabbard, and when the handle was ready, I returned to the dagger again)
Wow that looks amazing my friend.
Nice work 👍 love the handle.
