Facing the unknown is the only way to enter creation. This is how wild animals live, they face the unknown while they are connected to the ground of all existence. Therefore, there is no teacher or a guru to tell you how to live. You do that, you shall waste your life. Humans do the opposite, they live in the known and are disconnected from the ground of all existence. This happened to me too, listening and “learning” from people whose lives are/were worthless. My misspent time. Uhhhhh. Just awful. Sad really.
Krishnamurti is correct that one of the lowest of the low (he actually used the word “immature”) are people who are in organized religion. Christians and similar, this is a sure fire way to waste your life while you are deluded that you are doing good. He used to call them “poison.” I call them “sick and evil.” I am not bragging but always when I am in the company of organized religion people I feel a sense of suffocation. This instinct within. You have to be very seriously brainwashed (conditioned) not to sense that something is wrong. Or their body might be bad (the body is an antenna) and they cannot connect decently to the ground of all existence. All the people who have told me that they feel peace among Christians were people with bad bodies, very unattractive.
I never felt peace with Christians, psychics, and similar, even though I dabbled with them out of desperation in the past. I have a decent antenna and I wasted my time with garbage. My brainwashed (conditioned) mind led me astray.
Factual knowledge is invariably important-if-not downright critical to one's survival. Beliefs (based on one's experiences as well as conditioning), on the other hand, are far from critical and it is precisely our individual and collective beliefs (regarding ourselves, others, and the greater world) that gives rise to and perpetually feeds both inner and outer conflict and, subsequently, suffering.
If I say, "death is not bad", you think "so, it is good". But I have not said that. This happens because your brain is in conflict and you think in black and white, good and bad, with me, or against me. That's an error. Brain is corrupt, in conflict, fragmented, without harmony between the parts.
Death is what it is. Without death no other life. Beauty is a quality of variety, diversity: many colors, shapes, perfumes, sounds. The end is a new beginning. Beginning and end are the same. Time is an illusion. The technology won't make us discover god in a far far future; won't make us more and more intelligent. Technology is just an instrument, not the sense of life.

As everybody is brainwashed (conditioned) proper consent cannot be accomplished. So whole of life runs without consent. The whole thing is garbage. Absolute garbage.
