@@JoHeard I’ve got a few days booked down in Pagham in a few weeks so hope I get shots and videos as good as yours I’ll be putting them up on my channel when I get back 👍🏼
Absolutely jolly good show. Rather, a splendid jolly hockey sticks outing, it seems. Were there lashings of homemade lemonade and mummies homemade scones, too ? Toodle -loo.
Whilst it is always a joy to watch and photograph Kingfishers are you not worried or bothered by the baiting and potential injury of the bird striking the bowl. Personally.i dont agree with this approach.
Couldn't agree more..... It's disgusting, all my kingfisher images have been taken with hard work, learning the animals behaviour, going thru hours of frustration and outright determination, the kingfisher could get seriously injured..... Not too mention the fish that are confined to that tiny bowl... Cruel beyond belief and needs to be stopped, let nature be nature !!! 😡
@@robertbuckley7107 same here, ive taken time to find locations and to stay hidden and enjpy watching their behaviours. The relaxed way the guests were just firing off shots one handed was awful to watch.
@@grahamsnelgar3703 exactly.... There's no skill whatsoever in sitting in a warm hide firing off hundreds of images, you have to get out there, trudge thru the fields, get cold, get hot, covered in shit, and hide in the bushes for hours and hours.... And even then you may not be successful, but I get more pleasure from my images knowing I've done that, rather than have it handed to me on a plate.
Super vlog Jo with some fantastic shots and cheers for sharing it...........👍
Thank you ☺️
Love your videos, they are in no way too technical, and gives me the idea of "I couuld do that"

@@JoHeard it’s definitely given me some inspiration, I love kingfishers but I haven’t managed to capture one yet 🤦♂️😃 keep up the good work 👌👍
I live in Northern California, and we have the Belted Kingfisher- I've yet to see one. But this video encourages me to keep trying.
Could be worth looking to see if there are any nature hides that you could hire that have kingfishers visit 👍
Awesome shots 🎉
Thank you 🥰
Dejavu, I used to work in the garage. Petes photography hides are excellent.
