The contrast of the many vibrant colors and mildly disturbing imagery does well to express the overwhelming emotions. I assume this animatic helped you get some of those feelings out safely. Art is a powerful outlet and I genuinely hope that it brought you some peace of mind, or helped gradually with eventual recovery in some way.
