The contrast of the many vibrant colors and mildly disturbing imagery does well to express the overwhelming emotions. I assume this animatic helped you get some of those feelings out safely. Art is a powerful outlet and I genuinely hope that it brought you some peace of mind, or helped gradually with eventual recovery in some way. Maybe you’ll look back on it in the future and recognize you’ve survived those hardships. I can’t say much else on it because it’s personal to you and reflects it strongly.
