Wow, both teams looked great. UConn just looked mentally tired last 8 minutes of 4th quarter. Baylor changed and adjusted their offensive style of play during the game, and also played lights out defense.
That's exactly what happened. Baylor went up 7, and Uconn called a timeout. But then a couple missed shots later and Uconn just gave up. What can you expect? When your front court scores 0 points and the 3 back court players are trying to do everything, after 35 minutes they were spent.
I don't understand how a school like Baylor has a top 1 team in mens basketball, womens ball, and womens volleyball and has a top 7 football team in the nation. I know they are filthy rich but still no school especially one under the radar like baylor should be this dominant in sports.
Very proud of my bears! Only 4 players scored for UConn including 3 players for 55 points. UConn’s best post who is 6 ft 5 inches tall didn’t score a single point. Last double digit loss for UConn since February 27, 2012.

Wouldn't it have been wise for Geno to use his time-outs, during that 4th quarter when the first shots didn't fall? He didn't use one until later.........after Huskies had missed at least 4 shots and looked rattled. He had at least 3 to use. Could have inserted Olivia, just to bother the bigs a bit, even if she hadn't been effective earlier. Her legs were fresh, and teammates needed some legs. Otherwise, Cox, Smith had their way passed tired outstretched arms.

But still the Lady Bears are the Defending NCAA Champs. So UConn has nothing to be sorry for, they played their hearts out. Very Proud of them
