In Hellbound, the decrees aren’t death sentences but trials that determine whether someone is bound for hell (becoming a monster) or fit to remain in paradise (reborn on Earth). Judgment is random and indifferent to morality-anyone may face it. Those with unresolved fears or regrets must confront one question: can you forgive yourself? Failing to do so, as with Jingsu, leads to joining the monsters. Meanwhile, resurrected individuals, like Jungja, who have found purpose, live in peace within the new paradise.
What evidence do you have Can you forgive. Yourself if this is true would the baby have forgiven it self it’s a baby that makes no sense the baby has absolutely no idea how to forgive it self so it must be another reason for the baby return but then can we also be sure of other people as well and why would the death trial which Jung jisu have return him to earth is the trial after returning to earth if that is the case then that means that the resurrected one could also be turned into a monster which makes no sense your comment sounds more like a theory
@@HERO-lc7fb my theory, the baby instantly reborn because the sin is minor / less, the more sin they have the longer until they reborn or become the monster/executioner. Maybe, it was true, there will be hell on earth
Season 2 left us with more questions than answers. They opened many windows that were not satisfactorily closed. Even if we have a season 3, in my opinion, it wouldn't be necessary to leave so many loose ends in this season.
I think that’s what makes it great. We (the viewers) don’t understand why everything is going on and can only make guesses like the humans in hellbound. It’s thought provoking and makes for good conversation
The entire series is about how humanity tends to want to find meaning in unexplainable events and how different factions exploit the events for their own gain. What is going on is literally a religious order trying to gain power by telling people they know what is going on. There is absolutely no way the show is going to answer the big questions.
Sorry, but this show sucked. What's with Jhannet Wick, 60 pounds and kicking everyone's ass and escaping her death. We didn't the guy shoot her in the car lol?! So many plot holes. Terrible

Loved this season! I liked that they tried to keep it short but sweet. The story gets even more intriguing. All other American series just get worse by S2 but this one kept me wanting more. I hope this show goes long ways and yet can preserve its beauty! ❤
I don’t completely agree with that. A lot of series have kinda flawed first seasons and need to get to season 2 to really get the characters right. I tend to find season 2 and 3 for most American series being their best seasons. Futurama, Archer, Parks and Recs, Friends, even the shows like Star Trek and so on.
They keep talking about the world ending but everything happens in the very small country of South Korea. It would’ve been good to show some scenes of this world ending apocalypse taking place in other countries/continents. If only South Korea ended, it’s not a worldwide apocalypse.
considering that one of the main food for though of this show was to see how humans react to the unexplicable occurences, I think the lack of explanation of why these mysteries are happening was a solid choice. If it tried to do so, then the plot could not have foucsed on the human dynamics
Also doesn't help theres so much unlikeable characters like the Detective & the moron who got easily manipulated by the Ex cult leader that led to his wife turning into a nutjob & offing herself.
I for one am super disappointed with season 2. Here are my reasons... 1) the detective in first season was a key chracter whose arc we were made to follow and we didnt get a closure , his daughter was conveniently given cancer and he has been in hiding for 8 years only to resurface to do nothing of significance ??. Like really ? Also jin su is giving the detective a choice ? What choice ? Jin su says if he shares with the world that he had a demonstration then he would not be able to live with his daughter as she had commited murder ? Why does jin su location or information of demonstration got to do with the murder his daughter committed? The detective still went on to live with his daughter.. so this was open. 2) you dont wait 3 years and produce 6 short 25 min episodes ... it seemed the creators were in hurry to finish the scenes almost like the characters which are always in a hurry to move forward.. 3) the preisdents secretary was the most annoying character , if she were to be projected as a super villian they didnt succeed coz at no point i felt like hating her. Also why in the world she keeps smiling in almost 90% of the scenes ? Over all very poor character development. Also why does she needs to be a runner and health enthusiast ? How does it help our story ? Or her story .. some of the extra details were not needed esp when you are on a budget (time wise) to finish a season in 6 short episodes of 25 mins each ? 4) the Arrow head is not just a cult but they have been portrayed as totally lawless and are willing to commit murder in daylight. When they took on the new chariman in daylight it was almost comedic to watch it unfold ... there seem to be no law enforcement which is in place but you might say hey this is a fantasy about people getting brutually beaten up and burnt alive ...why should there be any place for law enforcement , but you have to keep it real if you are showing a government you have to keep law enforcement within reasonable limits.lack of which made this storytale further make believe. 5) hellbound likes to do time lapse jumps between present past and future but the rule for time lapse jumps is that you need to tell the viewer you are going to jump like you need to show where you are going with either hazed images or by literal captions. Like the scene where the president secretsry colluded with Sodo guy seems to be in past at the same time she metup with the chairman as she is still wearing that running dress and carrying the protein shake but they could have done a better job in forecasting a time jump. 5) too much time and screen space was wasted in developing the character and wife ms sunshine. Which was just not needed. Also the husband did know that wife had lost a hand and then her life with arrow heads why was he mad with Jin Sun.. jin suns new truth and arrow heads were different organziations. The husband should have taken out arrow heads organziafion if he was serious about revenge. 6) whats the point of using raybans everywhere, jin sun looks more cool like a korean popstar than a deranged manianc. 7) face paints and body paints and colored gas cannons just made me chuckle that it looks like a rock concert or skating rink than get morbid about the deaths and gruesome beatings peope go through when in a "demonstration" 8) also didnt understand why arrow heads want to sacrifice them selves along with the sinners .. usually people of such cult where they together hold someone else responsible and worthy of burning in hell for their sins ususally consider themselves above such sins but they still continued to pile up on every demonstration and getting lit up everytime and not learning a lesson that they wont survive irrespective of their status of sins .. so very convoluted. 9) Sodo org seems like a group of equal stake holders joinjng on microsoft teams meetings but one guy went and made a deal with the gov all by themselves ?? Questions from season 1 1) who is chosen to get a decree ? 2) why r there time limits in the sense some gets 20 yrs headsup and some gets 2 days ? 3) why the child survived/cameback ? 4) where do the executors come from ? 5) if there is a hell, is there a heaven ? 6) when the angel gave the decree to the new born if you see carefully he almost stopped himself and kind of felt regret to give the decree to the child who like for sure didnt understand , why did the angel visually pause before declaring it? Mom was lucky to be there to record else who would have known ? Now if you do a season 2 you make an attempt to answer some questions but these are unanswered even after 3 yrs ??? Season 2 questions 1) who gets to come back and when and why ? 2) why the child who came back not displayed any special ability even after 4 years ? 3) why so many decrees given together ? 4) why was jun su made to go through some of the roles only in the past life/hell/purgatory ..like why was he forced to go through the man in furnace scenario ? Is that because he murdered /help murder that guy ?, does it mean he also murdered his (abusive) father and her moms lover out of passion ? That means jin su did commit a lot of crimes ? May be he was so shocked that he has not been able to register them and doesnt recall ? 5) why was he crying on the bench holding an icecream ? Was it because no one came to pick him up or was it he just murdered his father while his mom eloped with her lover ? 5) why r there so many books around ms parks she doesnt look like a reader type :) and that too for 4 years ? 6) why didnt the chairman kept his recordings of his conversation with ms park ? Did he knew something wat was revealed by parks ? He doesnt seem too bringt but again another hole to be filled. 7) It seems jin su was recruited to be an executor. Perhaps the workload of executing so many people was getting high and powers that be decided to increase their payroll ? does it mean there are others also who are recruited ? We sure need more with the mass decrees that where laid out. Why wastn the child or ms parks recruited ? Does it mean the linebackers from hell are the most wile of humans who have now got the job to beat up people before putting them on the grill ? 8) why are angels women in season 2 , the season 1 angels dishing out decrees were all men, have the executors married in 8 years and does that mean there are baby executors too ? 9)in season 1 the three executors were like NFL line backers and 3 ramming and running around. Why in season 2 we have one who kind of crawls out of the floor and is like defineitly missing his bottom body and moves like a spider ? Does it mean that one of executors are dying off or due for retirement and thats why they had to recruit more through the mirrors ? 10) why is Jin sun declared to be a coward ? 11) why did miss park told the president's secretary she didnt see anyhting for her death , where as the secreaty clearly got a 2 yr deadline warning .... So i hope they dont take another 3 yrs to come out with 6 short episodes with no answers and only more questions. The writers should know that they need to complete character arcs and bring satisfactory closure otherwise the viewer is felt cheated and left wanting..
everyone here searching for the truth,,, how are we sure that season 3 will reveal the truth yet its all lies...and what if the truth is not beneficial to your understanding of the series,,, in short... don't overthink, it won't help, just enjoy the series, at the end its truth is not beneficial to our real lives,,,, 😇
Some people were comparing this show with Squid Games, I was like this show is more like Sweet Home because Song Kang’s character became half human half monster in the first season. Where as Squid Games is a darker version of childrens’ games in Korea well except for Red Light Green Light since we play it in the US as well
the thing is the 2nd season sucked and it was unenjoyable.. at times in between episodes i felt why m i even watching.. it was complete waste of my day off time.... clowns following a bigger clown fighting another group of clown upon a lady tskk tskk......

My interpretation of those many hells he went into was a chance for a new life. Each time he returns to his memories of who he is, the hellbound creatures sends him somewhere else. Maybe his unwillingness to let go is the reason he was called a coward, and the reason he became one of the creatures.
The original actor in real life took many illegal drugs and under court case. It is a big deal in Korea when an actor takes illegal drugs. Therefore a replacement.
Not really much happened in Hellbound. I dont care for the people or their plots, or who even Mrs Sunshine was. Even though i like the whole concept i think it has tons of plotholes.

@@john187a Totally! They destroyed Sweet Home series as well with a season 2. It's like they blow all their creativity in seasons 1 and just hit autopilot for second seasons. Like, come on, we notice the downgrade..
This is mostly a waste of time since iTS pretty much focusing on R people rather than on anything else, the detective and daughter are a waste of space and time they serve no freaking purpose and i couldnt give 2 ### that she is dying from cancer... And Damn thats some hell of a Plot Armour for Bi... laywer women, somehow she survives a beating from a gang that was trying to kill her (weird how her granny died from 1 hit to the head but not her, i guess her skull is made of Adamantium...) and than in S2 she again avoids death somehow... My boy gets turned into a monster bcz... somehow he is a coward ? i dont know where that came from or what makes him a coward (the only character worth following and they just get rid of him... good job) Lets have a civil war !!! Yeah lets not bother with finding out what these creatures are ? where do they come from ? why now ? why here ? how do we stop them? can we stop them? what is the TRUE way they select people? and what is that giant face ? are there any records of it happening in the distant past ? or prophecies about it ? nah why bother with this stuff that keeps killing people at random when we can rather create and control some BS cults/organisations or whatever u want to call them and focus on that, the incompetent GOV is once again incompetent... shocker i know.
It is true that ordinary life is based on evil (original sins, karma, instinct..). That is why there are temples, monasteries and churches. Sodo(min he jin) Those who mistake ordinary life for good and righteous. Arrowhead Those who are radical but purely follow the will of God. New truth Those who use the new religion to fulfill their own interests. Politics Those who are not interested in people and want to establish social order and make the world their own again.
Bruh it's the wrong actor.................put Kim Sung Cheol's picture on the thumbnail, the old one is out and done..........let the new actors shine.................they might make season 3 and it will be with the current actor correct!!!!!
Season two was horrible. I got so tired of the religious aspect of it. I would have rather have had them discover that the monsters were actually alien invaders and not from Hell at all.
yea this is what i thought too. these are probably aliens trying to destroy humans by their own minds by trying to explain what are happening in their world. i guess aliens figured out how to stir up their minds and bring chaos within by sending this creatures (or maybe they are the aliens?) and telling about their death and the Hell because it what people most afraid of. this idea probably make a lot of sense considering where this show is going.
I am not of the impression that it is mocking Christianity or Christians. The decrees are random and make no sense, but people in the series are saying it's because of sin because they need an explanation. It's kind of like when people believed the bubonic plague was gods punishment for our sins, before we learned about flees carrying the yersinia pestis bacteria on rats.

7) face paints and body paints and colored gas cannons just made me chuckle that it looks like a rock concert or skating rink than get morbid about the deaths and gruesome beatings peope go through when in a "demonstration"
8) also didnt understand why arrow heads want to sacrifice them selves along with the sinners .. usually people of such cult where they together hold someone else responsible and worthy of burning in hell for their sins ususally consider themselves above such sins but they still continued to pile up on every demonstration and getting lit up everytime and not learning a lesson that they wont survive irrespective of their status of sins .. so very convoluted.
9) Sodo org seems like a group of equal stake holders joinjng on microsoft teams meetings but one guy went and made a deal with the gov all by themselves ??
Questions from season 1
1) who is chosen to get a decree ?
Season 2 questions
1) who gets to come back and when and why ?
Wait, is the time in daylight savings time? What if you have a supersonic airplane or go to the space station, and avoid the time? 😅
everyone here searching for the truth,,, how are we sure that season 3 will reveal the truth yet its all lies...and what if the truth is not beneficial to your understanding of the series,,, in short... don't overthink, it won't help, just enjoy the series, at the end its truth is not beneficial to our real lives,,,, 😇
Such a great concept wasted on 6 episodes of random fight scenes
Sorry, but this show sucked. What's with Jhannet Wick, 60 pounds and kicking everyone's ass and escaping her death. We didn't the guy shoot her in the car lol?! So many plot holes. Terrible.
It's like the Director always wanted to do his Bourne action scenes and they sucked lol
He gone through so many Hell that his face change into completely different person, and no one realize it.
My interpretation of those many hells he went into was a chance for a new life. Each time he returns to his memories of who he is, the hellbound creatures sends him somewhere else. Maybe his unwillingness to let go is the reason he was called a coward, and the reason he became one of the creatures.
@@Zion-p8o nah thats BS
The original actor in real life took many illegal drugs and under court case. It is a big deal in Korea when an actor takes illegal drugs. Therefore a replacement.
😂😂😂and he went to prison, too!
Not really much happened in Hellbound. I dont care for the people or their plots, or who even Mrs Sunshine was. Even though i like the whole concept i think it has tons of plotholes.
cite the plotholes please
@@iamacatinthejungle do u have time to waste ?
but but but that girl was dying from cancer ! did that not make u cry ?
Can anyone tell me what purpose does the detective and daughter serve in the story ? u can cut them out from s1 and s2 and it doesnt affect anything, they are just there.
Miss Sunshine represented all those people that died due to a belief system created by Jingsu on this supernatural phenomenon.........................................this is tied to his HELL..............

Arrow head love beating people with pipes.
6 épisodes was too short and a Little boring. We didnt learn anything new from the démons. I am a bit disappointed although i didnt have any expectations
Technically, they aren't "new" they're just more accurate to the manga.
boring? damn timespan of a phosphorus
@@iamacatinthejungle damn, dry paint is fun to me
@@hellishwerewolf7798bro could you tell how long the manga is and potentially how many more seasons could hellbound have to complete it??
Loved this show
You just retold the story of season 2 and explained nothing 😒
He never sinned in his life? Bs. He burned that murderer alive !
A season that explains absolutely nothing about what's going on. Is this really God who's behind all this? Are the angels really angels? Are the executioners angels of judgment or demons? Nothing explained.
The multiple question we have right now after the ending, we can create multiple assumption but the problem it always have a piece that is missing
Season 2 suffered from the same issue a TON of fantasy did ... the rivalry between factions. Oh looooord that is an annoying trope. The Last of Us, Walking Dead, soooo many others I won't bother naming. Basically, it's all cool until the focus shifts to ThE HUmAnS AnD ThEiR FaCtIons and PolItICs happening in that fantasy world. Absolute garbage. Couldn't make it past 3 episode.
Totally agreed
agreed ... they always have to ruin shit with the people element (the bad parts of people at that) Transformers and zombie movies come to mind.

@@captnwinkle nah the fact that she survived the last ep of s1 is already BS ! her grandma passed from 1 blow to the skull but not her... no not the chick that was ganged up on and hit from all sides, ur also telling me that they bothered to carry her and throw her in that pit but didnt notice or bothered to check if she is still alive ?
And yeah the show is mid at best
@@kingvejita8827 lol exactly. She beats the crap out of 6 Arrowhead dudes in a hallway, but she has difficult beating the loser that painted his face in the last episode. It's not even consistent.
The idea of the show is good, but the execution sucked
Netflix: This show is turning out to be really good! Let’s cancel it.😂
I still don't understand why the baby got a decree in the first place.
It was a mistake, at least that is what I understood. I thought the video will explain more about that and if it is what they think, but they almost ignored it.
and you probably never will because of some artsy fartsy BS reason they probably want to leave it up to the "viewers interpretation". Such BS!
Love this show
How is it that the baby was a boy in season 1, and now she's a little girl?
Some ash was blown away by wind.
@@gonnabehappy LOL
This shit like a Korean death note fr
Season 1 was WAY better then this crap
Great recap. The show explained next to nothing. What a massive disappointment to wait 3 years for another cliffhanger 😂
this is gonna get sucky like lost did towards the later seasons, UNANSWERED QUESTIONS! Too many, not one damn thing explained, not even how the baby survived. I still liked watching it and will watch any future seasons but still feel a bit disappointed.
Thank you for this. Had to stop at the end of episode of 3., was so done with dumb idiots. That stupid husband ruined it for me. And it became evident that we wouldn't be getting any answers this season and I wasn't going to waste my time. I may also may have not been in the right mind frame to watch this.
i just finished s1 and 2 in one go and i can tell u that s2 is a waste of time...
And indeed we do not get any answers or any good questions for that matter, all we get is BS and people being sheeps and politics.
YoungJa (X) Jungha (X) JungJa (O)
Nothing in this season made sense.
2:34 am na maaga pa ko bukas tapos d ako makatulog dahil sa movie na toh.. Dun palang ako sa season 1 eh.. Yung sa baby.. Hayys bukas panunuorin ko toh
Well I’m not gonna even finish season 1 now cause these people can’t write a script. I need more than questions. Very frustrated that writers can be this stupid
I loved season 1 but season 2 I skipped most parts because I found it boring. Then when it was finally getting interesting it ends 😑 to be honest I didn’t care about any of the characters except the little girl. Then they ruined the detective and his daughter life
You didnt even explain any speculations or what happened. You only say the summary. Gat damn it.
Only questions no answers I don't think that season 2 was not satisfactory at all
you are wrong about one thing.... it is implied that everybody in the world got a verdict of "3 days from now 3pm" thats why everybody stopped what they were doing.
also i dont think there will be a season 3 as most of the characters of season 1 and 2 would be dead..... unless eventually everybody resurrects.
Secretary Kim received 2 years
@ramikol38 and some guy on the ground received 6 months
Arrowhead! Arrowhead! Arrowhead!!!!!!!!!!!!!☠️☠️☠️☠️
Season 2 is extremely boring
This happens to like 90% of every korean show I watch. Season 1 is really good then get hyped for season 2 then get extremely disappointed. It's never as good as season 1. Except maybe Alice In Borderland.
@@john187abro alice in Borderland is japanese
@@nishantpatel173 then I stand even more corrected
@@john187a Totally! They destroyed Sweet Home series as well with a season 2. It's like they blow all their creativity in seasons 1 and just hit autopilot for second seasons.
Suddenly, every twist feels recycled, the characters lose their spark, and we're left watching the plot go in circles. They keep serving up reheated leftovers and expect us to be impressed. Like, come on, we notice the downgrade..
@lust4life791 have you watched gyeongseong creature?
This is mostly a waste of time since iTS pretty much focusing on R people rather than on anything else, the detective and daughter are a waste of space and time they serve no freaking purpose and i couldnt give 2 ### that she is dying from cancer...
And Damn thats some hell of a Plot Armour for Bi... laywer women, somehow she survives a beating from a gang that was trying to kill her (weird how her granny died from 1 hit to the head but not her, i guess her skull is made of Adamantium...) and than in S2 she again avoids death somehow...
My boy gets turned into a monster bcz... somehow he is a coward ? i dont know where that came from or what makes him a coward (the only character worth following and they just get rid of him... good job)
Lets have a civil war !!!
The images of the chararters and your storytelling doesn't match in so many times and making it so confusing...😮💨
Sorry don’t agree with you first season was simple but brilliant I didn’t like this at all if there was going to be a season 3 I would have missed it
Executors?
The kids ask Min to rescue their mother from SODO?
This season was boring
I am more inclined to season 1 than season 2. Idk that’s just for me, I find this season to be a bit boring.
😢
Season two was horrible. I got so tired of the religious aspect of it. I would have rather have had them discover that the monsters were actually alien invaders and not from Hell at all.
yea this is what i thought too. these are probably aliens trying to destroy humans by their own minds by trying to explain what are happening in their world. i guess aliens figured out how to stir up their minds and bring chaos within by sending this creatures (or maybe they are the aliens?) and telling about their death and the Hell because it what people most afraid of. this idea probably make a lot of sense considering where this show is going.
Nope
It feels like mocking Christian? Everyone has sin and everyone should fear, but actually the demonstartion is nothing to do with sin.
😂😂😂
