I feel like this song was written with intent of “What can we do to get all 10,000 people to sing the chorus together at one of these huge European fests?” Well, mission accomplished Mr. Edling. Great track.
The complaints here are understandable but i have listened to candlemass's older stuff such as epicus doomicus metallicus but i have to say, the voice, the music, and especially the lyrics are just great. It gives me that victorian horror vibe and i love it.

mats is one of the best singers in the scene i think that he deserves the place where he is right now with a legendary band like candlemass and remember that therion was in its prime with him

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Candlemass is great at what they do. Mats Leven is great at what he can do. They just don't sound that great together for some reason. You had all those big soaring vocalists before him that he simply sounds weak in comparison to them, which isn't fair to Mats because he is fantastic when singing in the style of music that suits his voice best. He better with a faster style like what he did with Yngwie or maybe a Helloween-type band.

Yes, Messiah Marcolin was and is The Voice of the Candlemass, but he is no longer available, so get on with it and the band. As much as I loved Marcolin´s comeback and Black Dwarf, I think this song is good enough to add in the saga of Candlemass. Long live etc...

I agree. Rob would've fucking owned this song. Mats is very good though. I can't say I dislike his vocals AT ALL but he is a kind of lesser version of Rob to me. Anyway, love this track. This EP is way better than Death Thy Lover.
I'm rather liking Mats' vocals, actually, after giving this a few listens. He's almost drowned out in the mix, but really I think he's a pretty good fit for Candlemass' brand of doom otherwise.

They are unnaturally colofrull . Imoressions , thoughs and feelings being provoked by any means atleast once per song. For a person listening them from more than 10 years ,i can say that this band is just not what anyone expected, but way more than what you can even think (saying it from personal experience ) . So many out of nowhere rises that can make other giants to bow down :)
What are the best songs by Candleass with organ (and) or keyboard? I'm looking for this kind of epicness but apparently not every album has keyboards on it.
