i'm pretty sure c.gambino was masked and "unknown" before his death. i've been listening to him since he wasn't on spotify yet and he pushed out releases at such a quick pace recently. i remember how proud i felt when he blew up on tiktok and won the grammis. my absolute favorite artist. sad to see it end this way. you should definitely listen to "catwalk" by him. it's very upbeat.

Just like the case with Pop Smoke, we're seeing these rising artists getting killed before they can even reach their full potential and share their artistry with the world. Not only does this mean the loss of an incredibly gifted voice, but it robs a family of their loved one and deprives fans of ever being able to see, touch, or hear from him again. It's an immense loss for the music community and society as a whole when these brutal acts cut short lives and silence authentic creative voices before their time. May C Gambino rest in peace, and my condolences go out to all those mourning this senseless tragedy.🙏🙏🙏🙏
