    One of my korean friends would whistle at me to call me or get my attention. In western europe it is hella rude, like calling an animal or something lol I begged him to stop

    The upward facing "come here" is offensive to us Filipinos too. Maybe it's an Asian thing

      The "come here" thing is the same in Arabic cultures. It seems it's mostly western cultures that use it with their hands up. Otherwise, it's hand faced down.

    Question: Those hand gestures were made by whom? Are those the Deaf Korean sign language that general public people use or these hand gestures were developed by "hearing" people over the years. I learned of your thumb/forefinger "love" hand gestures. That got me interested in it. I am deaf.

    I am having trouble with some verb related grammar
    So for instance lets take the verb 공부하다
    When i write it sometimes i see on my suggested(on the keyboard) things like
    공부하는
    공부는
    공부하는데
    공부해야
    And more but those are the ones I'm more curious about. Please help!

    • @user-pi4ll8pm9k
      @user-pi4ll8pm9k 6 лет назад +2

      TheSkeletonTheme
      공부하다 = to study
      공부하는 = be studying
      공부는= studying is
      공부하는데 = I'm studying but..
      공부해야= have to study
      There are much more ending, but you can do it!

    • @elizaandreadaki9942
      @elizaandreadaki9942 6 лет назад

      정병우 thank you so much! If it doesn't cause you any trouble, could you please make an example sentence for each? Because i want to make sure i understand the meaning well enough to properly use it

    • @user-pi4ll8pm9k
      @user-pi4ll8pm9k 6 лет назад

      TheSkeletonTheme
      I study English=내가 영어를 공부하다
      I'm studying English=나는 영어를 공부하는 중이다or공부하고 있다
      Studying is boring = 공부는 지루하다
      I'm studying English but it's so difficult = 나는 영어를 공부하는데 너무 어렵다

    • @elizaandreadaki9942
      @elizaandreadaki9942 6 лет назад

    • @minjiteacheskorean
      @minjiteacheskorean  6 лет назад +1

      Oops. I'm sorry I saw your comment so late like this! Btw thank you for all good examples~! I'll give you a little bit more.
      I usually say '공부해야 하는데' a lot and it means 'I have to study but..'
      So if you say
      🔹공부해야 하는데 너무 졸려
      It means 'I have to study but I'm so sleepy.'
      or also there is a '공부하러' which means 'to study'
      So if you say
      🔹공부하러 도서관에 갈 거예요,
      It means 'I will go to the library to study'
      I hope this is helpful to you~!
      And currently I'm making Korean sentence patterns videos with grammar explanations so please check out to learn verb conjugations if you want~! :)
