It brings me a special joy when I see someone find an extra layer of love than the average person does in a game. Starfield is a popular game and loved by many, but the level of love you have for this game is unique. Great video dude.
Ah, thank you! Finally seeing more love for Starfield out there. I have more than 1000 hours in myself and its basically my everyday, relaxing game. Sometimes I just explore, sometimes I hang out with my crew of hotties, sometimes I go kick some ass or work on my ship. Some of my favorite things though, are the little stories you find throughout...I'm always finding something new, especially if you check out every slate that comes along. Are there problems, sure, heck, its Bethesda! I remember when I first plated Fallout 4, how disappointed I was in how bad the characters looked or the bugginess of that game, but it was also really fun. I get the same thing with Starfield. I go with mods these days, but mostly to add drippiness or stuff like adding star wars aliens into the crowds. Can't wait for the Shattered Space DLC to come out, and its actually getting me to get into creating mods myself, because I see so much potential for storytelling here that rivals any other platform out there.
@@michaeldempsey9023 That's awesome! I love those sidebar stories for sure ('final thoughts' hit hard). Definitely my go to game. 1000 hours is badass! I'm still playing vanilla right now (except for the tracker quests), but I definitely plan on getting more into the mod scene later on down the road. Really cool that you're making your own, too. And I'm definitely excited for Shattered Space, the trailer looks incredible
Starfield is one of my favorites, if not my very favorite, game in my library. I've been on board the Starfield train since 2018 and was more excited to play this than any other game in recent years. I was shocked with how many people have it out for the game after I put in my first 100 hours and checked Reddit/YT to see what others thought. The game does a lot right and is a solid 7.5-8/10 in my book. Sure, it has its issues (some are pretty big issues to be fair), but despite those, I've soaked nearly 250 hours into the game and can't wait to go back through once Shattered Space comes out. It's a "cozy" game for me and is probably the one game world/universe I'd choose to live in if game worlds were real. It's not post-apocalyptic, but provides a hopeful and optimistic outlook, and all the NPCs in the game aren't jerks. I think Starfield is going to be a game I'll play for many, many years to come, and it's only going to get better as BGS improves on it with updates and DLC.
A positive review! Wow!! Well done, you just got a new subscriber. I am so tired of hearing people whine about this game. I love it too, I've got 2,250 hours in and it keeps getting better with mods.
@@davidintel wow, 2250 hours is badass! Such an amazing game, I love Starfield so much. Always good to see another fan of the game. Thank you for the positive feedback and the sub
I went from liking this game to hating it to loving it, it just took time and gradually seeing all the good it has to offer, it’s truly a game that you can play for ever, I know it gets a lot of hate and a lot of it is deserved but most of the negatives are things that can be easily looked past, the game is not bad, it’s not broken, it’s not a rip off, it’s not live service, its not too short, and it def isnt lacking in content. it has a lot to offer for those who give it time
@@ares12351 Well said. Sounds like you had quite a rollercoaster of a journey with the game. I definitely like the conclusion you've come to. I still have trouble putting this game down to play others
Shout out to you for being patient and giving this time to steep as opposed to rushing something out. Also, I enjoyed your humor and the time you took to choose the music
Dude… first thing I’m doing on my replay is the vanguard story. I only did the main quest in the first play and still loved the game… I have a feeling going through it all again with casual patience, I’m going to notch this game way up on my top games ever played list…
Peoples' favorite games are not always objectively the best games. It is a subjective topic. Thank you for yours. I enjoyed the review a lot. I'm happy that you adore Starfield so. 😊 P.S. one of my faves is the original System Shock.

"Cookin it, and bookin it" I just re-downloaded Starfield because of your words of wisdom lol. I'm gonna give it another shot. I haven't seen it since the updates.
The transitions you have throughout this video was so great loved you putting the guy in roof as you say about your favourite side missions Ps i enjoyed the halo show lol love the humour throughout
This was a great video! I tried starfield when it first came out and for some reason it didn’t stick with me. Decided to give it another try a week ago and I’m absolutely hooked on it now. Haha. I love it, I’m having an absolute blast.
Glad someone loved this game, but also glad most didn't. Hopefully Bethesda gets it's stuff together and makes games that way more people can feel the way you do about them.
@@JimJamTheAdmin totally understandable. I definitely hope they tighten up their shot group with the next Elder Scrolls, and it speaks to a broader audience as well.
I've found coming off of Fallout 4 the controls are wacky and confusing. Can nay one tell me how to look at the ground map and go back to my character w/o rage clicking a bunch of maps I don't want to see to get there. Ground map *click once* back to character that's all I'm asking.
@@chrsitophercollins1271 If you pull out your scanner, there's a button that takes you straight to your surface map (RB on Xbox, indicated on the UI at the bottom of the screen in scanner mode). If you go to the surface map that way, you can just go straight back to your character with the B button
I’m not suiting up for the Terromorph battle because I am running a basic gear only run. “The good one with Kurt Russell.” Yeah, very glad I decided to watch this.
Nope, I got that reload bug recently but I thought I was just screwing up. I rather dig the edits. Well done, that open the door one was very nice. And yeah it does have a lot of beauty and is my 500+ hours, it is also my favorite game.
