This is the heaviest band on the planet, and in the history of Extreme Metal. It's not even a contest. I first heard Mortician in the radio, back in 1995 when "House..." was released. There was a radio station in germany (still is, but it sucks now) aimed at younger people and they had a metal show every sunday evening, Stahlwerk, running for 2 hours. This was my "internet" to hear new bands and songs, to get new music (i still was in school, rarely had any money), tape was always running and recording. The tracklist of my tapes always had some spelling errors because my english wasn't the best back then, and i didn't know how to spell some words. I remember i wrote Mortician an "Mortichan", or Satyricon's album title "Dark medieval times " (which i have mistaken for the song title) as "Dark me, little times". Sometimes i knew it's not correct, but i didn't knew what to write so i sometimes made titles up which sounded the closest the what the mod said (which was a woman, btw). Fun times!
Thanks! That was the original Primitive Brutality version. This was right around when I was bringing some unused PB riffs to Mortician still in the early years. A few went to Malignancy as well.
@@RogerBeaujard Awesome, man. I enjoyed the video. Was cool hearing some of the songs played differently and shit. Did that guitar have a Kahler on it or Floyd Rose?
