I started playing back when the game was in Applab, and forgot about the game before any new cosmetics got released. Then I came back for Mountains, left again, and then came back for Basement. To sum that all up, I don't have any of the OG cosmetics, and I still suck at the game.
Correction, I did play for one of the Spring cosmetics, the grass in your mouth.

All the launch update cosmetics were a bit mid, which is why not many people bought it

@EclipseGTAG Well, depending on wich angel wings you are referring to, the launch day ones will come back, but the budles never will
Ik this video was made month ago, but now the rarest cosmetics are basically going to be gt2 badge, probably the eatable cake and and also launch update cosmetics.
I noticed a developer error in the paintbrawl update, the hair is red-purple, and in the picture they are light, but despite this I bought them and still wear them, they are worth it
For the people who are mad about the flashback sales don’t worry because they will be rare again in like 10 months

Updated version for people who want to know the rarest and hardest cosmetic to get out of all cosmetics in the game:
The rarest cosmetic in gorilla tag now is actually the unused Placeable Target, which even lemming doesn't own the Placeable Target cosmetic from what some others know and i know. The Placeable Target cosmetic was supposed to be one of the cosmetics you could obtain in the Paintbrawl Cosmetic Part 2 Update, which the Placeable Target would replace one of the "Coming Soon" targets in the shop on that update.
The rarest cosmetic that was buyable is the 2022 Glasses from the 2021 Christmas Update, and the rarest cosmetic a player that isn't a staff/moderator (etc) that is obtainable is the Finger-Painter Badge.
