Thank you guys for warning us about the spoilers, we've decided to avoid all spoilers at all cost, meaning we'll be watching the Live Action a lot later down the line.
@nurulanwar1928 That spoiler gets mentioned multiple times beyond that point in the second half of the live action series. So just avoiding the end of ep 4 doesn't avoid it. If they really want to not spoil that moment in the anime they can wait until they watch episodes 313/314.
That “reveal/spoiler” in the Live Action is just one thing, and done in a way that isn’t ruining much of the story for anyone. Plenty of people started the anime after watching the live action. It didn’t ruin the experience for them. But around episode 50-313 there’s so much that is still preserved and not spoiled. You’ll see once you guys finally watch the Live Action. I think it’s good to watch now where you guys currently are
Watch it if you want to. Or if you wanna wait until after ep 313/315. It only spoils 1 thing. Personally i don't mind either way, I love the live action!
The live action made many people start the anime... And anime reactions. It's not perfect (except for the actors, haha, the actors are perfect irl 😂) but it did it's job. 😂😊
The live action is pretty good tho Non anime/op fans usually rate it 9 or 10/10 Its only the OP fans that are more critical or harsh with it coz the story / plot of some characters was slightly adjusted to fit into 8 episodes
i described the live action as a tasting platter for a 1,000-course banquet and i still stand by it. it's such a successful tasting platter that many new fans have broken the three-digit anime episodes at this point and will soon be consuming the whole table
also the fact that the showrunner himself wasn't able to be around with the editing crew for the final few episodes due to the writers' strike at the time
You guys hating on arlong .. kidos😂😂😂 he's literally a sawshark and they did his nose perfect just like its supposed to be and the actor who played arlong is 6'3 or 6'4 so he's way taller than luffy 🤦
It's not about how they look, it's the energy they bring i.e. Iniaki (Luffy) defo brings Luffy energy! And as weird as the fishmen look, Arlong does scary so well in live action. It's a different medium, so it won't be one to one, but I have to say, I enjoyed it so much! There is a spoiler if you watch it, but the whole show is supervised by Oda, so it has his seal of approval and is faithful to the main story - surprisingly, live action does some things a lot better than the anime! 😊
Oda himself chooses the live action characters, but there are some big time spoilers in the live action. its not a 1 to 1 with the anime so there are things in season 1 that you wont see for another 200 episodes
@@mctv-reacts the live action is Oda's way of opening the One Piece community to the people that want to watch but dont want to commit to watching the entire anime. since you guys are anime watchers, you should still watch the live action just after you finish Water 7/Enies Lobby
The live action is ok imo. My biggest complaint is they decided to add a spoiler from episode 315 when its supposed to be only the first 60-ish eps. So i would definitely wait till you guys get there in the anime before watching it if you plan to.
Personally I really like that they changed the story in terms of this spoiler. It makes some events in the future more meaningful. Yes it's a big spoiler. For people who want to be spoiler free for the anime/manga it's not so good. But in general I really like the idea of changing it a bit.
The live action has their own storyline due to the time limit the have guys, but its still supervised by Oda, so the main plot still stay true to the canon, also some of the manga canon scenes are adapted in here, but not in anime, also some canon in anime are not in here SADLY (and some cuts make me bitter cause but still, OPLA is the best live action made in Hollywood ever for now and noone topped it). And OPLA contained SPOILERS so they can make the story line move faster (cause it’s movie ofc). For me personally, if you guys dont want spoilers, you guys have to wait till 430ish anime episodes 😂 But if you guys are okay with spoilers then go watch it. It’s a fresh new take for one piece, but the heart, emotions and main plot are still there. OPLA actually made for people who are afraid to watch the anime cause it’s too long. It’s to introduce them to one piece. But also, this also for the one piece fans. So yeah, your choice cause season 2 soon, it’s about chopper and alabasta i guess
Like most of the comments say, don't watch it until you watch 315 eps in anime if you don't want one of the craziest surprises to be spoiled. I liked OP-LA, and all the cast were great (it was a given anyways when Oda himself chose them). It's not the same as anime since it cannot be the same in real life, obviously and it's an ADAPTATION. They've made it more realistic and practical in LA, imo. But overall, it was a good adaptation.
The spoiler in the Live action is a big one. So if you want to be spoiler free for the anime/manga, you shouldn't watch it. Personally I really like the change in the story, because it makes things more meaningful. Maybe you can watch the live action once you reached the episodes where the anime mentions the topic (episode 314).
There not a one for one of Manga or anime it follows the Manga more than the anime the anime is not a One for one of the Manga either but follows close the live action is it's own one peice adaptation and the outfits that they wear are all different ones from the cover stories that they have been drawn in over the years
Don’t listen to anyone who says it’s good. It’s not bad, it’s decent at best. It’s really hard to puli off. The anime is just too hard to replicate in certain aspects. They had to mash parts of arcs together to make it work and save time. If you choose to watch it, you will enjoy it,however, not until after 315 in the anime as they pulled up a major spoiler forward to make their narrative work and it really doesn’t hit the same. Most of the characters are pretty true to their anime versions except for Zoro whose a bit emo/broody but still decent and garp who they butchered and is not even slightly close to the anime personally.
The live action was so good, idk why yall are so harsh on it. True they left off many things but many of them weren’t really relevant. Also with the ep 315, to be real, you barely even know anything about him prior to that episode, so it’s not really that big of a spoiler,
@R.freshta it’s good in comparison to all the other live actions, but it’s not good. It’s just fine. It really is a major spoiler, specially for first time viewers. Watching the LA after the anime already knowing makes you think less of it. It’s a matter of perspective. People downplay it for that very reason.
@@allanLJoseph its good for a Hollywood live action adaptation. Let’s not forget about how nasty all Hollywood live action have been. One piece live action did great compared to the others.

Warning Spoiler. If you still watch. You can skip ending episode 4 . After marine ship attack The Going Merry with cannon.
@@mctv-reacts Great call, by then there should be more to react to as well.

To be honest, I prefer them Fishmen this way than CGI.
Yeah
A CGI nose would have been horrible
The arlong actor made up for it with his acting
Oda himself choose the actors
The crew wears different clothes from the cover art and color walks of the manga, not just their usual clothes.
You'll have to watch the live action after episoode 315 to avoid spoilers
313
Bro let them see garp bro

final trailer's my favorite thing to come out of the live action so far. cant wait for season 2 & the remake anime
