This was and is a great, informative video, one you can watch with your kids, get them keenly interested in coin roll huntiing, researching price guides, as well as metal detection/treasure hunting. Thanks for the video.
I did enjoy watching you video, all your videos are so informative. I mainly search pennies and love those wheat pennies. I have never found any DDO. About the only finds I have found in the pennies are lamination errors and a few die chips. Thanks for the time you take in you videos especially going to school and working.
Thank you so much, Armando. I also haven't found any DDO in my personal searches - only in collection searches at the coin shop. However, recently I've been chatting with a cherrypicker who has done over $20,000 in pennies and looks at each one, and he has found a remarkable number of errors, especially on zinc ones. If I have the time, I'd love to do a video where he outlines some of his best finds.
Thank you for this video and information! I have soooo many of these it’s unreal! I’ve always collected coins and never really thought more than just their sentimental and regular value. Very exciting and I thank you for the information!
That's not possible because a quarter will not fit into the die that mints nickels.. you could theoretically have a quarter stamped on a nickel planchet but not the other way around.
Fantastic the awesome pennies with awesome returns, excellent video once again dude, do you know when they quit putting the VDB initials on the wheat pennies? Keep up the excellent job you do on your channel dude! Later man!
I found a 1943D wheat penny while watching your video. It is a very dark color compared with the other year coins I have before and after it. Would it be worth anything?

The 1943-D 1C (copper) was sold twice in auction: 1. From Superior's May 27,28, 1996 Auction, lot 536, which sold for $82,500 (bought by Mr. Steve Benson) 2. From Ira and Larry Goldberg's Feb. 2003 Auction, Lot 149, which sold for $212,750.00

There was 4 of us who ate at Chile's and I covered the $82 bill with the counterfeits and they did not question the authenticity of any of the pennies but they did ask that we not return to the establishment ever again but that's probably because it took around 45 minutes to finish paying the bill and dont even get me started about our waitress, who with some very colorful language said some really hateful things and made a couple of threats that were quite frankly a little terrifying as we were leaving. I told her a few times that she was gonna have to bring me a bunch of rolls for her tip, looking back on it now I can clearly see where the misunderstanding happened. I even asked my date why do they keep bringing us so many of these delicious warm buttery buns. I had to find a place on the table where I could fit $22 dollars worth of pennies for her generous tip (in my opinion) since she never did find any rolls for me to put them in.

A question. I have a large drum / tub filled with pennies and other USA denominations that I have been collecting for the past 20 years. Going through them seems very tedious work and lots of time. Is there an easier way to go through them? Is there any coins missing to make the hunt more exiting?
It depends on if you're doing just the big ones or every little detail. It's tedious for sure and often low value (like it's quite rare you'll get anything significant) so I'd do it for the fun, not the money. However, you can always just search for big ones like key dates and 55 DDOs and 72 DDOs instead of cherrypicking every last date.
