Great review Steven. I picked this up on release day. It was so long ago, I can't give an exact date lol. I'm thinking at least a year ago & it definitely got better over time - smells better and better performance. I have 8 from Montagne and they all got better after a few months.
It cracks me up when people criticize Aventus, but will stand in line for the next new Aventus clone. I have now worn Aventus 3 times (new bottle) and gotten at least one compliment each time.
@@bwcastillo true story - 2nd time I wore it. I sprayed it on a Sunday morning before church around 7 am. I went into a donut shop around 11:30, and the guy behind the counter said “sir, that fragrance you are wearing is killer!” I said “I can’t believe you can smell it across the counter.” And he said, “everyone smelled you as soon as you walked in and it smells great!” I’m sold for life.
Sounds really interesting. Aventus is just so good; even these years later, and there being so many clones is a clear testament to that. Does anyone have a Montagne discount code?
I'd be interested to hear how you compare this one with a so-called Aventus clone that unabashedly rejects the pineapple opening. I'm talking about Mont Blanc Explorer. I bought Explorer totally out of love for its scent without ever knowing it was a "clone" of anything (in fact, I'd never even heard of Aventus at that point). I can't imagine ruining Explorer by adding a pineapple bomb to its opening. Which makes me wonder how a fragrance can justly be called a clone of another when it so blatantly rejects the other's essential hallmark. So to get back to my original point: can MB Explorer and Montagne Parfums Pineapple Intense be rationally compared or is it a case of "apples and oranges"?
I did the same thing. After buying Explorer I learned that it was a clone. So I bought a sample of Aventus, sprayed, was utterly shocked at the sweetness. I disgarded it...but since I sprayed it on my skin, about 30 mins later I was like "oh there goes Explorer" that's when I learned that Explorer removed the pineapple lmao
For me this one is too light in the dry down so I mostly used it as a car freshener. You can customize the label but the ink wore off on mine so that was another let down. I think the best Aventus clone is Rasasi Zebra Pour Lui for Men.
@@forgiveandforget5316 Its good especially for the price but it has a very lemon pledge smell that does go away during the dry down, but there are much better options like Parfums Vintage Emperor extrait.

I tried Montagne and wanted to like it. But the scents I tried made me gag. The odor was stale, pungent and smelled like an old lady. Everyone's nose is different but it wasn't for me.
From what I’ve heard from reviewers Creed is a Creed clone. Batch variations, reformulations etc… Someone mentioned because there are so many clones Aventus is no longer a Niche scent
@@persephonesdad5792 creed current batches lack performance and I don’t even think to buy it because with that price tag and with a moderate performance is not worth the penny spend
Really enjoy your videos but after receiving this, I’m not getting anywhere near the performance that you’re saying you get. After like 45 minutes, I can’t smell anything. Thought maybe I was going nose blind and got my son to try it. Same thing happened for him and on him as well. No offense but reviewers need to stop pushing these smaller inspiration houses to try and help draw business. I completely get it and understand why this happens but if a fragrance doesn’t perform well, or may not be that good, let the viewers know. Armaf cdnim completely blows this out of the water hands down. Honesty goes a long way, or at least I think so
It needed to macerate for a couple of months. Montagne make to order and they don't have time to macerate their products. Maceration allows the ingredients to blend better, giving the intended performance and scent

I know exactly what you mean
It’s simply the best. You can hate on it all you want but when you wear the real deal people will be amazed by it.
@@bwcastillo Simply the best is certainly debatable, but it's definitely better than the haters give it credit for

Nothing drops boxers like aventus lol
Great insight Steven! I would really like to see an updated Aventus clone video!

Great review and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it because I'm a big fan of Creed Aventus and have a blessed night
I swear at first glance I thought it was Le labo 🤣
Gotta try Steven thank you 😊
Battle of Aventus clones, next video. Please compare the parfum vintages!
I have their version of Lost Cherry By TF... and honestly, I no longer need to buy Lost Cherry, Parfum De Cerise is at least 95%
Hows the performance???
Way better than the OG. The fragrance is better. The small difference is an improvement. @@mercedesbenzs600bash
Montagne's FdB inspirations are very good as well and yes, they benefit from sitting for a few months.
Just picked up this based on your review, Thanks!
How do you rate it compared with Aventus?
Steve has so many different looks. He goes from “geek to chic” and makes many stops in between. I wish I could be as versatile with my look.
I'm wondering how close is this to aventus vs. something from like parfum vintage
Nothing like creed at all to sweet and annoying smell don't change at all...
Looking great with your new style
Thanks for sharing. I’m always open to trying something new. This was very helpful and will get my hands on this 🙂🙌
Gonna have to try this out
Hope you like it, Chad!
This outfit is top notch! 🙌
Thank you!

Did you get it? Verdict?
Was it any good?
Great video! Will look out for this.
Would love for you to make that Aventus clone comparison video.
I just purchased this. How would this compare to pineapple Royale
How do you like it?
Is it actually any good?
It's more citrus heavy than aventus
Is it worth it
Hey Steven, let's hear your thoughts
Is this better than DUA Poseidons Elixir 13ZZ?
Please do an Aventus clone comparison video
Can you give us insight as to who founded Montagne?
Bois 1920 - Parana is also a great take on Aventus!

Is this available in the uk.?.
I believe so!

Do they have the pineapple intense in 100ml??
How does one know which clone represents which perfume? I can guess some
They have a list you can download when you join their Facebook group. It’ll be in the files section.
Sheesh, for a second I thought is that Le Labo...
Anyone who ordered this perfume recently? Their instagram and Facebook are not active.
Quick question. On their website they have a PINEAPPLE ROYALE (NEW FORMULA). Unless I’ve missed, is it the same fragrance as the one in this video?
There are 78 bottles shown on their site.
Pineapple Intense is #58 on the list (way down)
Pineapple ROYALE is listed first
