I got this about a year ago and I prefer it over the Creed. Loads of people comment on how I afford to wear creed every day. Shhh stop telling people about this gem.
When I first started collecting about 5 years ago one of the first I tried was Aventus, and when I didn't like it, Aventus for women (which seemed 98% idential which some influencers recommended). The hype was so strong I kept trying alternatives and clones but it wasn't till I tried a clone of the original Aventus formulation by Alexandria that I finally understood the hype and loved it. Since then there have been some niche frags like Nishane and Roja that created, more or less, the same old formulation with Hacivat and Roja Enigma cologne (who says niche companies aren't also clone houses).
I don't care for smokey Aventus. The batch I initially fell in love with was smooth fruity but not overly sweet. I was a novice at the time but as best I can figure it was heavy on the bergamont vanilla and musk. Woods and smoke were very minimal. I look forward to the day my current bottle of smokey woody aventus bites the dust. I think with Aventus it's very much you spend time chasing the scent of the illusory batch you really loved. @Chaos Fragrances recommendations on vintage batch clones to try?

Edited: On 3/ 24/24 My bottle of L'aventure has improved tremendously. It smells so much better. The longevity has increased. I am pleasantly surprised. I remember reading another comment awhile ago that stated that this fragrance takes 9-12 months until it starts performing. I did not believe it was true at that time. I missed the hype on the old Aventus, never was able to get my hands on it before and until a few months ago I purchased a bottle of it. The smell is great on it and it does have a very luxury, classy scent to it and definitely does smell niche. My only complaints are that for the price you pay I wish it lasted a lot longer. I bought the 50 ml. bottle and it came out to almost $400 at the retail store I purchased it at, in no way do I regret buying because I do really enjoy it a lot and I don’t wear it that often but when I do I love it, but the longevity and projection just doesn’t seem to last that long, especially compared to other designer fragrances I own that are much more cheaper and last a lot longer. Probably won’t buy another creed for a while idk but all these clones out there I’ve heard very positive things about so definitely will be looking into this and several others 👍🏻
If you can afford the original then avoid clones. Original are always original, the hype on clones by RUclipsrs make them look good but they all smell synthetic to me.
Another clone of Aventus is Patek Maison Absolute. It smells like Creed Aventus 10’s aniversary. It smells really good and pleasant. Would you give us your opinión of this fragante ?
Nowadays you are crazy to buy originals. There so much clones and companies which offer the same or better for less then € 50. I always buy from a company which sell 10 ml from the highest quality. In reality you buy the same but i pay €45 now for 50 ml. The ambre nomade and Baccarat rouge 540 are a beast from them.
@@mrunknown452 I totally agree 💯!! The original L'aventure is very weak. I ordered a bottle of L'aventure intense. I hope it performs better than the original. You stated clearly close. Clearly close to what?
Has anyone tried Doppelgänger Grey from Phoenix Artisan’s Accouterments? That is pretty bang on with the older batches of Creed, as long as PAA hasn’t changed it. It’s been over a year since I bought it. It comes in 30ml edp for $50. The performance is pretty good. Lasts around 6-8 hours depending on spray count. I have some of it left along with the matching aftershave and aftershave jelly+menthol. They have a ton of other great scents and products.
Really happy with this purchase. It opens up smelling so juicy. It reminds me of lemonheads (in a good way). The woody dry down is awesome too. Long lasting and def sexy. I have a thing for scents that smell edible in the openings. My Mancera Cedrat Boise smells like Fruity Pebbles. YSL L’Homme EDP smells like creamsicles. 1 Million Lucky smells like sweet hazelnuts with plum. The dry downs change into woody notes which I also love. I am still in love with Montblanc Explorer because it hits different and leans a bit more masculine and versatile but man, this juice is awesome 🙂
Good review. I am in between of purchasing Explorer or L'Aventure Intense. Never tested L'Aventure but I like the smell of Explorer. Which one do you suggest ?
@@fuat27 Thank you. They’re both good and different. L’Aventure is going to last a lot longer. Also, Explorer is leathery in the dry down. Something L’Aventure doesn’t really have. It all depends on what you like. I would sample Explorer and see if that’s something you like. L’Aventure will be hard to sample.
I find it strange how this guy says it lasts 14 hours that is completely whack an he was probably paid to say that , unless they reformulated it after all these reviews were made.( which is super shady and fraud in my opinion ) this stuff lasts legit 2 hours max
I don’t get all of the positive reviews I’ve seen on Al Haramain L'Aventure cologne. I just bought it a few days ago because of all the positive reviews (including the one herein). Given the price point, I didn’t really have high expectations, so I was willing to be fairly forgiving of any shortcomings. However, L’Aventure is the worst cologne I’ve ever owned - by far. For me, it started out smelling like a lemon-scented cleaning agent and quickly dissipated into nothing within around 30 minutes or so. I can’t find one redeeming quality in this cologne. If I were given the choice to buy a gallon of the stuff for a dollar or just burn the dollar, I’d burn the dollar. It wouldn’t be any more of a waste.
Let it sit. That happened to me. Months later, it transformed and now it lasts way too long. Opening now has more fruity nuances besides just lemon. I got some Parfums Vintage samples, and besides Emperor and Emperor Extrait, L'Adventure to me smells of higher quality and lasts longer. I also have L'Adventure Intense, but it opens less sweet and dries down to something different I dislike. I find it off-putting. I prefer the original by far.
I don’t get the hype over Creed really. I got this clone for Christmas. Opening note is a very strong lemon/medicinal scent, which settles into the smokey citrus over time. It actually seems to gain strength during the drydown for me and I’m starting to like this at least a little. If this really does smell like Aventus, why in the world is that fragrance so expensive? (Btw, so far, my favorite scent since I started down this rabbit hole this year has been Terre D’ Hemmes. Absolutely love that smell.)
Which is best CDNI, Mont Blanc EDP, or Mencera Cedrat Biose? I can’t decide which to try, but I’d like a year round signature scent like channel Blue parfume and/or Platinum Egoiste edp that doesn’t break the bank.
I wouldn't really put Cedrat Boise in the same bracket as these 2. It stands as fragrance on its own. I would go for CDIM as it is much smokier and deeper than the Mont Blanc.
@Eric Gatlin NO COMPARISON!! CDNIM Pure Parfum is a beast fragrance. It last a long time on skin and days clothes. L'aventure is the opposite. It is not strong and does not last. A very lite skin scent after the initial spray and throughout the drydown.👎
After trying the real creed adventus in London I have to say that this is the closest one. The ones from Lattafa and Maison Alhambra are too smokey. I don’t know why this one is not included in most videos talking about aventus inspirations.
I take 30% Al Haramain , 50% club de nuit and 20% Demeter pineapple and mix in my own 100ml bottle let sit for 2 days. And get way more compliments than I do with creed aventus

@@Jason.cbr1000rr laventure intense is more fruity and citrusy based than Smokey but it’s very good. Like Dallas says it’s a good interpretation of the modern Aventus but better performing overall
Hey dude. What’s up. Wanted to ask you what do you think about the different between natural and synthetic smelling between this two.
11/2022 batch. Dead as hell. 2 hours maximum projection then a skin scent for another 3 hours
You could have bought 8 bottles of Haramain
You don't regret spending $400 on a 50ml scent that is available for under $50 for 100 ml?
Prices of Original perfumes now are increasing
It is good. Pretty much 95%. But you just feel different when you spray the real thing.
Interestingly this goes for at least 60USD where I live and in Notino is evenabout 160USD which is absurd!
Al Haramain Oud tabacco ? Is it Tabacco Vannile ? have u tried it ?
Montagne pineapple intense is still by far the best I've ever tried. It's so good!
I have their pineapple royale
CDNIM EDP or L'Aventure intense? CDNIM EDT is too smokey for me
Which one is better and closer to Aventus: the original lventure or the lventure intense?
Good question ❓. I would love to know myself. Are we going to get an answer to the question...no.. 🤣
Original one is pathetic, intense version is clearly close
@@mrunknown452
I totally agree 💯!!
The original L'aventure is very weak. I ordered a bottle of L'aventure intense. I hope it performs better than the original. You stated clearly close. Clearly close to what?
Mine is very piney that’s all I really smell on skin
I cant find this Intense version anywhere in Europe.... only the regular version....... :(
You hyped this up to sell out lol. It’s good juice though.
The claude marsal la guitare smells like aventus also
Hey! What do you think is a better everyday fragrance ysl y edp or cedrat boise!
L’Aventure will be hard to sample.
cdim parfum limited edition??
vs afnan not only intense,
better projection? sillage?
much love from Indonesia, 🥰
thank you,
got it only to find out it's a less performing cdni LE
If a scent or note is timeless, then it doesn't matter how many "updates" to the modern world we have
I find it strange how this guy says it lasts 14 hours that is completely whack an he was probably paid to say that , unless they reformulated it after all these reviews were made.( which is super shady and fraud in my opinion ) this stuff lasts legit 2 hours max
There's an intense version that last long
i have club de nuit edp do you think its better ???
I have the same dilemma. Maybe I’ll just buy one to see
@@mrlong6267 let me know
I don’t get all of the positive reviews I’ve seen on Al Haramain L'Aventure cologne.
I think Insurrection II Pure is the better clone - the same balance of smoky birch to fruity notes as the real thing.
which is better though compared to club de nuit intense man? i think its also an aventus clone?
Which is best CDNI, Mont Blanc EDP, or Mencera Cedrat Biose? I can’t decide which to try, but I’d like a year round signature scent like channel Blue parfume and/or Platinum Egoiste edp that doesn’t break the bank.
I wouldn't really put Cedrat Boise in the same bracket as these 2.
It stands as fragrance on its own.
I would go for CDIM as it is much smokier and deeper than the Mont Blanc.
Yes dallas... That is mostly correct... Dallas............................
i can't find the intense version in my country. is the EDP similar? (they're both EDP but the ones i can find don't say intense)
It's the same thing except the intense last longer on your skin...just over spray with normal laventure then you are good to go....(like 7 sprays
How does this compare to CDNIM Pure Perfume?
@Eric Gatlin
NO COMPARISON!! CDNIM Pure Parfum is a beast fragrance. It last a long time on skin and days clothes. L'aventure is the opposite. It is not strong and does not last. A very lite skin scent after the initial spray and throughout the drydown.👎
Just grabbed a 200ml bottle for $40. Can't wait to give it a wear.
Where'd you find that? I swear the intense variant doesn't exist anymore - can't find it anywhere
I just bought mine from eBay 35 bucks
Al Haramain Retail asking 140$ in Bangladesh, I'm dead
That's ridiculous 😂😂
That's ridiculous 😂😂
My 2021 Aventus lasts over 13 hours and is crazy beast mode, so I'ma pass on any clones just sayin 😌
Question bro, how were the first initial sprays? Did they last long? Mine don’t seem to last that long and they’re 2021 batches
@@Dabchulo8 some people will get a long use and some won't
If your body heat is more than most guys you'll burn it up quicker
After trying the real creed adventus in London I have to say that this is the closest one. The ones from Lattafa and Maison Alhambra are too smokey. I don’t know why this one is not included in most videos talking about aventus inspirations.
Club de nuit edt/edp
jfc its like 60-80 usd in Norway..
I take 30% Al Haramain , 50% club de nuit and 20% Demeter pineapple and mix in my own 100ml bottle let sit for 2 days. And get way more compliments than I do with creed aventus
is this true :o
Pineapple vintage intense🔥
Cdnim pure parfum is the way to go
this is at least 50$ here in Romania.. don't think that's worth it
