    Same thing happened to me with crazy prices on harley t shirts. Went to a sale 3 hours early to be first in line. Pirces on the shirts were $5 for modern used harley shirts and new were $15 to $25. Grabbed one trans am racing shirt for $5 and quickly had to look for anything else of value to resell. Saw some cheaper lee jeans and asked if they had more. they said in the harley shirt room there is a closet of jeans. I went there and sure enough there was a closet every other reseller missed. The clothing in there was a $1 and I pulled out two of the best pieces. One vintage Harley hawaiin shirt valued at around $100 to $150. And one vintage pendleton 1960s board shirt valued at around $160 to 250. Pays to ask and be thorough.

    Biannual Spring library sale was my sourcing trip. 80's D&D guides, one 26 book manga series, a 1928 "Songs I heard in Palestine" songbook ($100+), a bunch of smaller profit books and one really good art pace that had a misleading label. It had a small label that showed it's sale price $85 but a much larger sticker that said "Look it up $250!"(meant to justify it's $85 price) I saw it on the first day of the sale and thought it was priced at $250, as did others who peeked at it. I came back on half-price day and it was still there... and I saw the smaller tag and realized the truth. So, a signed African art sculpture, 16" - for $42.50 and yes, should get over $200

    • @nonsuchned94
      @nonsuchned94 Год назад

      @@ReadySetResell Yeah, the "Songs of Palestine" definitely a weird one,-off. One of my first big scores was a rare songbook I bought for a quarter and sold eventually for around $200 (although early comps said it could go for $300) so I always check them... Most aren't great, but I still sell them regularly and occasionally find gold
      The last was a Devo songbook that sold for like $40 but could have got an extra hundred if it were in good shape.
      This week I also sold a 1915 "Archeological Atlas of Ohio" - yes, bizarre. Took an offer for $350, but another is on eBay now for $900... I just didn't see that price selling so I listed at half.

      Don’t focus to much on the amount of items you currently have listed. Yes the more items you have in your store the more eyes you’ll get but sales are what you really want. Instead of focusing on total items in your store I would instead set a goal of the amount you want to list each day / week. Just focus on pricing and keyboarding items correctly and your inventory amount will build naturally. A Lower item amount in your shop isn’t a bad thing if your sell through rate is high 👍
