I have a 09 flex limted and You don't have to take anything apart, just take the rubber gasket off, turn and carefully take it out with gloves.
this video was very helpful. using the correct tools and following a procedure, the job wasn't as bad as the shops made it sound. thanks
you're welcome i had to learn as i go. with any vehicles i buy of somethings didn't need to come off lol
Useful. Never expected taking off front bumper.
Is there anything that you would do differently now that you’ve done this if there is do you have an updated video perhaps
yes, lol not removing bumper, I removed it to be on the safe side to not damage the bulb and yes ill have an update video by itself on the flex
thank yo u for the video my guy!
Thank for you for the video
Wow
How are the bulbs holding up? Have they went out yet?
Think I ended up getting the same replacement headlights lol
did the lights stay working? having this same problem and ford quoted me $681 to fix it so im ready to diy the fix myself
3 years later still working great lol
@@jayroyce20-Garage amazing. Thank you so much for this video.
Can you put the link to the bulbs
you don't need to remove the ballast, how do you not obviously have a Phillips.
Could you have reached behind the light/ removed the dust cover / twist the bulb / Unplugged it / removed the bulb... then do the reverse to install? I know its tight but think about it.
What size socket did you use for the skirts? Thanks
what you mean?
5mm and on top 10mm
