TOKYO - KAWAGOE day trip vlog 2023 🇯🇵

If you're looking for day trips to take from Tokyo, KAWAGOE in Saitama is a great destination, taking you back in time to 'Little Edo'. One of the popular destinations there is the Hikawa Shrine.
A former castle town, it's your next best option if you can't make it to Kyoto. On its own, Kawagoe is great for exploring on foot OR there's the cheap option of travelling by bus with the 1-day pass (400 yen).

Hello! Thanks for dropping by. Yes, you can get to Kawagoe station from Ikebukuro - just take the Tobu-Tojo Line express. It should cost you about 490 yen one-way. Hope that helps!
