As he had no children but outlived his younger brother, the present Queen would have had more time with her own children to the benefit of all. Being in love is very special and life is better for it. But for umpteen years, millenia even, royalty and the aristocracy married but not for love. Marriages were for dynastic reasons and love matches were few and far. Even now they're being forced to marry someone that they don't want to marry who might even be their cousin. Sad though, especially if you are blessed to have found the one and you're not able to express that love and it's not your spouse (who might be a lovely person, just not the one). Camilla loved Parker Bowles. It is only when she saw the opportunity to socially climb & how easily she could manipulate Charles that she got involved in his life again. Years later, I became more and more aware there're some powerful force in our lives, i start to believe fate has been written when we're born. As a Christian we call god, maybe God has its arrangement for everyone including royal family. I believe her driver, who was not a professional chauffeur, was drugged. IMHO, it was a well choreographed, calculated attempt to eliminate the potential threat to the throne, because of Diana’s reckless actions.
She was not removed from the wreckage immediately and taken to the hospital for surgery. It seems they left her there to ensure she was terminal.

I don't think if Charles had married Camilla at the time that he wouldn't have cheated on her... and she on him in retaliation. They do love each other - I think they were always drawn to each other - I believe they are both sincere in their feelings. Camila would have had the personality to stick along with him and hurt him as much as he hurt her, should it come to that. But I also think they were very practical in their knowledge that no one would really accept a union between them so they just dropped it. It's just really sh*tty that Charles and the family was okay with fooling Diana into thinking her marriage would be "normal." It's very rare for any royal to have a "normal" marriage as we know it: sleeping in the same room together, making decisions together, spending family time together. 'Handy' enough to enable a fundamental change, without which; with Princess Diana of Wales still alive; the machinations from Charles could never ever have happened.
I cannot believe some of the negative comments I am hearing about Princess Diana; she was a short fuse waiting to happen, not strong enough, jealous, etc. & etc. Which human being would like to be finding out with each passing day that they were just being used as a breeding machine? Literally a cow? The tone here is of a superiority that is simply out of place in the modern world, I mean if Charles had simply propositioned Diana and told her the truth about Camilla, all this would have turned out much better, for as we all frigging found out, the not so strong, but ultra tall lady had a brain, was ultra glamourous, was a fashion icon and literally won the world over with her natural charm. Oh and she gave a highly publicized interview and even collaborated on a book about her truth. Had there been an agreement she would have quietly gone on to have a blissfully quiet life and had a refreshing modern relationship with Charles like Sarah Ferguson has with Andrew.
so why didn't Diana make a private agreement with Charles, that their marriage was not working out - and they would stay together and keep thier affairs discreet?

Charles never stopped seeing or phoning late at night, Diana was very stressed by it and got Bulimia, caused by stress and anxiety.

Along with not marrying a man who says whatever love means, at some point in time everyone will have to recognize that Diana chose to marry her sister's ex boyfriend, a man she only knew for six weeks before she agreed to marry him and who she knew had feelings for someone else. Maybe she had a crush on him because he was the prince of Wales but she really loved and married the crown and Camilla didn't care so much about marrying the prince and becoming queen of England, she loved the man, her soul mate Charles. @@staciasmith5162 She knew him for much longer than 6 weeks. They were dating from July till the following February when they got engaged. she stayed near Highgrove for weekends, so they had a realtively long courtship, albeit I dont think they got to know each other that well.

And also Diana told she felt pressure to marry him faster than she wanted. She told her mother before the wedding, she doesn't really love Charles, but more the idea of getting a princess. Her mother was against the marriage, she told her daughter, the pressure would be to high for herself. Diana was very angry because of this. Diana thought, she will be o.k with the pressure of the public. Her aim was since childhood to marry an important man, to get important. It was propheceised for her and this was her interest.
