The Todoroki family plotline is overall one of the strongest parts of the series. Minus Enji’s (Endeavor’s) arc I would also say it’s the best-written. I think part of this is because the side characters are one of my favorite aspects of My Hero due to how fleshed out they are despite not having too much to do. Like, Natsu has become my personal favorite side character due to how developed he is, and he only had like, five scenes in total. I also think the Toya and Shoto dynamic is great too, and it’s great that Rei gets to have a heroic moment too. Unfortunately, while most of this story line is amazing, it also has Enji, who despite having so much screentime, probably has the weakest arc in the series overall, which sucks because I think it was set up amazingly well. While he did get some good development moments at the tail end of this fight, the way he’s handled throughout the majority of the final arcs is probably the sloppiest and most disappointing part of My Hero. That being said, despite Enji’s weird character arc, I still love this storyline and I hope this isn’t the absolute end for it, because I would love to see more interactions and resolutions for the characters.
There’s 2 rounds of Todoroki Family conflict on Final War 1. Shoto and Flaming Sidekickers vs Dabi 2. Todoroki Family vs Dabi And that’s all and Shoto has won and now he’s unconscious from too much heartburn for overpowering his Phosphor along with Iida using his Maximum Speed to reach Dabi at Mt Gunga after he escapes and use Great Glacial Ager to defeat Dabi once again
Random side note, but I always get secondhand embarrassment looking at the comments that are trying to say that My Hero "fell off" despite the fact that they're still clearly keeping up with what's happening. Not to mention the reasoning is always that they just don't think the direction of the story is good, which tbh, isn't an issue with the series, it just means that people have preferences and wanted something different out of the series. It has problems by all means, but I have to say people's reasoning here is always super weird imo.
I actually think that the fight is not over yet. Otherwise it would make no sense for the show to introduce Dabis ice quirk that late. Also, notice how he was the first hero who was announced to be defeated. I think this is just to confuse the audience and Dabi isn't actually defeated yet but will have one last final awakening before dying. Either that or someone of the Todoroki family will see his ice quirk. After all, it's such a beautiful irony since Touya was the golden child all along and if Endeavor only cared more and didn't neglected him, he would have his perfect child. Also, I've been noticing some people here saying that Endeavors story arc is the weakest. In my opinion, it's the best. Endeavor became one of my favorite characters because he knows, what he did will never be redeemed but he's still fighting to create a future where his other children can be happy.
He’s definitely not fighting anytime soon so I can’t say he’d die. He’ll probably be in a hospital. I mean it’s clear he didn’t die in 390, and if he was gonna, he would’ve. In fact, he survived.
I hope that he gets rehabilitation, not redemption. I want him in a mantal facility receiving treatment. With his siblings doing everything in their power to try and reconnect with him. Cause that's just who they are; but I don't want him to forgive his parents.
Although I'm fine with how the battle ended, I was slightly disappointed it ended so fast. I would of loved to see more of his new ice quirk as a final boss battle before it took him over and he was defeated

Returning to this after reading the manga’s finale, Dabi’s story really made this final war arc worthwhile. Each part of the war had some great moments but HERE, this family, is definitely the best part

It is not true that his past was sad, there are worse villains who had a better tragic plot in their lives, but from sad to happy? either a fairy tale ending or going to jail, it's the worst thing they can do to Dabi, it's to destroy everything written in this character, seeing him animated is of no use, if in the end he remains alive, so don't get excited with bones, it's a love that is dry and doesn't know how to cook horikoshi
Hey this just popped in my head for a bit , but when edge shot enter bakugou body to stitch his heart back together, wouldn't that alerted the antibodies to attack edge shot ,since it's a foreign life form entering the body system, wouldn't he die from antibodies?
So is Dabi actually done in the fight? He seems like the one who doesnt give up. Also is he aware he has an ice quirk too? What sucks is that if it is over Dabi will never show his true potential without being a burned mess unless he has something that can regenerate him.
Maybe he really does have a Phoenix quirk then. Everything hes been through shows a pattern of one. Death as Toya, Rebirth Dabi, Death Toya again? Or Dabi? He still got that relentless hatred in his soul even in the aftermath.

Basically, every battle with a Todoroki is maximum disappointment of boredom, I change the serious style for a childish one and hearts. It just shows mha is lacking and died, which are not one of the best parts of the series. Dabi appears and ruins everything, not even as a villain he fulfills his emtas and they deceive us with false tragedies, for that reason the author dino is an iseaki

Except for Enji's arc (Endeavor), I would also say that it is the worst written, with exaggerated drama and that was lost. I think part of this is because the secondary characters in My Hero are too exploited and incongruous due to the Undeveloped who are there despite not having much to do. Natsu has become an unfavorite secondary character due to poorly developed developments, he does not contribute anything. I also think Toya and Shoto's dynamic is very cliched, forced, not great, and it's NOT cool that Rei also has a heroic moment overshadows the moment. Unfortunately, it's not good at all. Most of this story hasn't come close to being amazing, with weak arcs. It definitely didn't have those, if not bad, moments of development at the end of this fight, the way it was handled for most of the final arcs is probably the most sloppy and disappointing part of My Hero. That said, despite the character's strange arc. It will be ruined if Dabi lives, there is still no love in this story and an absolute boring ending is approaching
Also, the day that Dabi had no limits? hahaha pineapple, don't make me laugh, it's more like "THE DAY TOUYA HAD NO LIMITS IN HIS TANTRUT", when he fights, we are told that his body should die and we get that he freezes and To finish off being disastrous, the whole family appears, how emotional do you see that? It is more emotional that he dies and leaves in peace, but he will be alive, and there Dabi died as a villain, he is already a clown
