Great video! Thank you for showing us the Radiolink system. When I'm ready to switch out the Traxxas system, I'm going to use that. I'm just amazed how electronics change over the years. I remember years ago a radio with those features would be close to $300 (us). Now I see radios costing $600 (us)!! These cars are smaller, but in the old days to hide the antenna wires. We would get left over pieces of lexan from the RC car bodies. Cut them into strips. Fold a side over that we would tape to the chassis. Punch tiny holes into the longer side and run the wire up in a zig zag fashion.

Thank you so much for the awesome comment.
It's definitely an awesome upgrade, way better than that bulky original transmitter from Traxxas.
It's got so many functions, and allows a person to set up a little crawler like this perfectly.
I will definitely be trying some more of their receivers!
You're 100% right I am blown away at what you get for the price.
Things really have come along nowadays.
You have an awesome day bro thank you so much for watching and commenting.

I will soon get to work adding some more features to my backyard course, do you think it's worth me filming the process?

Great video! The truck looks really good in black. I’ve recently got a DumboRC ddf-350. It has many similar functions. Your video has shown me that I need to set my steering angles to 80%, I think they are on 100% at the moment! 😎👍

      Thank you so much brother!!
I really appreciate your support and awesome comment.
I want to get one of the dumborc DDF-350, it's one I've had my eye on for a while!
After many years of playing with the RC cars I have noticed that the CV joins do not like being turned to Max, and that's besides the servo that seem to burn out a lot quicker if you are always pushing them to 100%.
Since I've been doing this I've never ever blown a Servo, and the turning circle might be a bit larger but so much smoother than pushing the CVS to Max!
You have a wonderful weekend bro and hopefully I'll see you again on the next one.
      👊😉

Interesting radio. I've been stuck with my Spektrum radio for a few of my trucks.

Bro, I was so surprised at how many awesome functions and how easy it is to use, compared to my Spectrum dx5 rugged.
This will definitely be my go to radio and transmitter for my next builds!
I really appreciate you watching bro and thank you so much for commenting.
You have an awesome weekend brother 🤜💥🤛

Hi Ryan, i run this sender and the RC8X for 1,5 years . Nothing to complain , it works perfect. The 6GS is for the TRX4m with the R4FGM reciever. All is inexpensive.

Hi bro, I've never really been into the digital controllers, as I've always found them very confusing.
I have a dx5 rugged, and compared to this it is a lot harder to set up.
But I definitely prefer it's appearance!
This one is definitely got a bit of an old school look especially with the big antennas!
I appreciate the info, I will definitely be picking up some of those receivers and trying them out
Thank you so much for watching, have an awesome weekend 👊😉

The antenna wires on the receivers are long and a nuisance and the antenna on the radio is a nuisance. Who needs that range for crawling or trailing. I have one and 4 of the RC4GS V3. Those are the bang for buck ones from Radiolink. I use these if I need something my little DumboRC's don't provide, like throttle curve.

      @rcfungames  Месяц назад +1

Totally agree with you about the length of the antennas on the receiver, and very inconvenient to have the antenna on the transmitter.
But for the simple fact that the receiver is waterproof, and the fact that the transmitter is so easy to use, is what makes me really like it.
And I'm looking forward to getting an fpv camera and a set of head goggles to try the head tracking function as I cruise around my backyard course.
Thanks for watching and I appreciate the comment.
      🤜🤛

@@shockman8014 I've got a few that will fit perfectly! As soon as these double a batteries are flat I will definitely be using a lipo.
      Thanks for the info 👍👍👍
