Sir what's your Gleason score and what's your psa at the time of diagnosed
Lovely man. Thank you for sharing your update and what you’ve been learning, including a reminder of your accomplishments. Sometimes it takes a friend or family member to remind you. I’m looking forward to sharing this with my dad.
Good to see you again. "We" do what we can, with the energy available. I am just finishing out 2 years of Lupron from Stage 3b. Hopefully I can get back to walking half-marathons as before my diagnosis, but time will tell. At least I have time.....LOL.
Good luck on your 10 K. You are looking well!
You are a very inspiring man, you right focus on stuff you can do not the stuff you can’t.
Thanks for the Meds list ,I am interested in what others are on and how they are doing. I am at the up days and down stage, Thanks for the update I have been watching a lot of prostate survivor pages, a may do one also .I just hit 6 months , stage 4 metastatic , with multiple lymph-nodes, bladder and multiple bone lesions, spine ,neck, shoulder and pelvis, been on abiraterone and prednisone and zoladax injections, Psa started at 873, now 6 months later down to 7.9. I so hope I can get afew years, Thanks again for for updates and channel , GOD BLESS
Good luck Alan, I've recently been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer and have started the hormone injection. My PSA had started rising rapidly. which was scary. I did a bit of research into complementary therapies and some success was had by people with tomato sauce. I've been taking 2 dessert spoons 3 times a day. This seems stabilised my PSA. This was done before starting the hormone treatment. Look at research done by Dr. Michael Greger and his videos.
Have turmeric powder 2 gram with black pepper powder 200 MCG...pinch...1/2 times daily...with milk or water boiled cooled ..also apply simple turmeric paste. With slight edible oil mixed....all over body
I did about 25 thirty six hour fasts before I had the cancer. I didnt do any the 4 months I had a catheter, also none thru my chemotherapy. But now I am back, last week did a 36 and doing it again this week and trying to do it every week or so. Yes the chemo and drugs drain your energy, but a 36 hour fast feels like a good workout the day after. Trust in your doctors, but not too much as they are not God. My Oncologist cancelled the surgery the Urologist was just a week away from doing. She says I am the most positive patient she has had. Maybe because, though I know we all will die someday, I don't plan to any time soon.
While in the hospital I woke up very early and discovered Joel Osteen on TV, I know I know, a TV preacher, but he is extremely positive and his sermons are only 25 minutes. Some days according to the topic, His talks give me great hope.
So you practiced fasting before getting cancer? I thought that would have prevented you from getting anything?
Yesterday is history tomorrow is a mystery.all we have is today . I two am in the club no one wants to be in stage 4 Gleason score 9.
I do my best to try to live every day to the fullest it doesn't always happen. Stay strong my friend
Blessings...I appreciate your mental strength.
I’ve been inspired by your journey. Keep hanging in there sir. I’d be interested to know where your metastasis has been found. I have an acquaintance with this same disease and it’s early on just diagnosed. I want to let him know of your channel.
Enjoy your walk in 3 weeks Alan. We in Sydney have a model of our city centre area in Customs Hose near Circular Quay perhaps like London Centre. Thanks Alan for look at inter war of information Centre. Yes I get fatigue from hormone therapy.
Check Cancer therapy..it is in french but I think you can get the book or videos with English subtitles. He lives in the US and has cured his stage 4 prostate cancer with metastasis
Good luck for the 10k
I like Orford so enjoy that Alan
Not surprised that that fellow never listened to you. Unless one has prostate cancer, people do not care at all. People are self absorbed. Those of us with prostate cancer know quite well about the lethargy caused by our cancer treatment, but those close to us really do not understand how severe it is.
London center ?
Did you find hormone injections affected you short term memory
What was the question ?
Castration any weakns bones
